Great place! Centrally located, quiet neighborhood and amazing hosts.

Our stay was great! The house has a really nice shower in the master bedroom and everything you would need in the kitchen. The house is also located on a quiet street with great places to take nice relaxing walks on the bayside and a free public beach on the oceanside.

Loved our recent stay at this beach house! The location is great, very close to the beach but felt private and secluded (on a quiet street). We drove to the beach with all our stuff, but could have also walked. No issues with finding parking at the beach, although we were here off-season in September. The house is very comfortable and had everything we needed to relax after a day at the beach (both inside and on the large deck). We grilled, had pizza delivered and drove a short distance to Duck for dinner a few nights. Had one rainy day where we enjoyed sitting in the screened in porch listening to music and playing games. Would recommend Laurie's place to anyone who enjoys charming beach houses (no bland, new build here): full of fun decorations, a spiral staircase and lots of charming personality!

Location was great! Duck is super cute. Stayed with my kids, my brother and kids kids and my sister. It was plenty of space for all of us and we loved the outer banks!

We loved our week at Monika's place. We visted Cape Hatteras (the lighthouse is undergoing repairs), the Wright Brothers National Memorial, Jockey's Ridge State Park (beautiful sunset) and we did daily hikes around Nags Head Wood Preserve, which is a very short walk from the house. We also had some great food and enjoyed the available bicycles.

Great place. For its size and value, it literally has a ton of great features . The theatre room is amazing, especially with having kids. Has a beach volleyball court! The arcade has thousands of games and brought me back 25 years (Pac-Man, Mario, Galaga, Street Fighter, and 1,000’s more). We went when it typically would not be considered swimming weather, however, we had the option to have the pool heated at least a day or so before arriving and it made a huge difference and allowed for my girls and I to swim in early April (and I did jump in the ocean to compare and it was a 25-30 degree difference! Lol). The owner is very quick to respond, has the instructions available prior to arrival, recommendations for food, churches, , and activities. If you don’t mind a 3-5 minute stroll to the beach, it is honestly not that far away. Walmart, Target, Grocery stores, putt putt, dunes, Wings, fishing pier, are very close by. The aquarium was a 20 min drive but was worth it. Fun experience.

We had such a lovely stay with our little family and pup! The beach was just steps away and we had the best time taking walks and exploring Nags Head! We even had a fun St Patty’s day parade that came right by the cottage- we will definitely be back!!

Longacres is a special place. It’s definitely rustic and my teenagers weren’t excited at first. But when it was time to go home, they didn’t want to leave. The outdoor shower and sleeping porch are amazing. My husband and I used them in all weather from the 70s to the 40s. The electric blanket kept us cozy on even the coldest nights. Staying at Longacres felt like glamping. You might have to deal with a few wasps or spiders, or you might run into some cobwebs. But the birds singing you awake every morning, the sun shining in through the tree, the wind whispering in the pines, and the blue sky over head during a shower make those bugs and cobwebs totally worth it! The location was a great jumping off point for all OBX adventures. Anne was a responsive host and quickly dealt with a minor issue we had. I hope we get to come back again sometime!

The location is a dream; easy access to the beach with an awesome lookout point on the dunes, and close to restaurants/establishments. The amenities are not fancy, but everything you need!

We had a great stay at the cabin- we especially loved relaxing on the front porch and also the view of the creek from the back patio. We were a little worried since the backyard abuts an RV campground and it is also just off of a busy road but it was surprisingly very quiet. The beds are super comfortable and we found everything we needed for our stay. The central location is a short drive to many beautiful natural areas, the Wright Bros historic site, plus restaurants and stores on the main strip. The hosts are very responsive and have put a lot of love into the cabin, attentive to details that might make visitors feel welcome.

We really felt home away from home. Very cozy and welcoming property. We had everything what we need. We found great seafood market 4 min away. We cooked fresh catch for dinner every night. We like hiking, and biking. So many good trails around. We did a lot activities first part of the day and afternoon was great time at the beach. We will come back and recommend this charming place for a couple.

We had an excellent time & stay at Penny’s! Our few days there was so relaxing & heavenly. The cottage is a gem - very comfortable, cozy, charming, clean in a quiet neighborhood and the beach right down the street. Kitchen was ample size & had all the pots, pans, utensils needed for cooking. Bathroom was very clean, beds very comfortable, living room & big deck nice for relaxing when we weren’t on the go. The cabin’s is well-built and nicely decorated with thoughtful touches everywhere. Penny left us a nice book and small welcome gift to great us. There’s a great space under house on street level that we barely used but is nice plus for hot days. Next to outdoor shower & an extra bathroom/laundry room should you need. There are 2 beach chairs & cart to lug your things to beach. Can’t say enough about the location. Just ideal! Fantastic coffee shop a minute’s walk up the street & great restaurants/shops/attractions. Penny provides great info on all! Just a great hostess! TY Penny!

Absolutely perfect for what we needed - cozy weekend getaway right on the beach. Really ideal location in Nags Head, felt private but also close to great restaurants, grocery stores, and activities. Would stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at the Sea Spray Cottages! Loved the location with easy beach access across the street. The cottages are set back from the road slightly, which makes them feel private and cuts down on traffic noise from the beach road. Very clean, cute, and comfy.

Location, location, location … For a cottage at the beach that’s all you need to hear. It is the reason we came back and will again. Amy has made her wonderful cottage inside as great as the view out the windows and from the deck.

Our visit was just what my family was looking for! We wanted a quiet, comfortable and clean place to stay so we could relax and get away from day-to-day responsibilities. The home was clean and comfortable. The nearby road was a bit noisy but the hosts had left fans that were perfect for covering the noise at night!

Lovely little cottage on the Sound side of Manteo, not quite on the water but close enough to hear the waves and feel the breeze. Immaculately clean, well appointed, and very quiet — perfect for 1-2 guests. Friendly, communicative owner.

My son & I came down to the Outer Banks for a baseball tournament. Whitney made flexible dates for us to account for our travel. The house was perfect & right on the oceanfront. Awesome host & experience!

If I could give it more stars I would. This is a true gem and a great find. Went for a girls trip/birthday celebration and we LOVED everything about this place. All of the attention to details made this a magical escape. We will all be coming back. The porch is fabulous!

Our third stay with Laura in the hammock cottage. Truly, a special destination for us allows us some much needed time away from the rat race, easy access to the beach, and a comfortable well appointed home. We look forward to our return next year.

A true complement is repeat customers. This is the second time visiting with a third scheduled. Great house, handy to the beach, coffee and shops. Will keep coming back until we are asked not to.
