Cabin vacation rentals in Kielder

Jane was an amazing host, the pod was exactly how it was described/photographed and we had everything available to us that we needed inside the pod. The decor was modern but still cosy and the hot tub was great! Short drive to loads of lovely bars/restaurants/attractions. Whilst staying at the pod we visited the black horse, the travellers rest and went to beamish for the day (all within 20 minutes of the pod). Would definitely stay again!

A lovely lodge and wonderful dark skies… unfortunately we stayed during a snow storm and experienced a power cut which made things a bit tricky (lodge is entirely electric with no log burner or gas). Sara was really helpful and very communicative. I look forward to coming back at some point.

Lovely location, Very relaxing just what we needed for a recharge night away. The extra for the hot ub to be lit before arrival is well worth the money. Will definitely be back !

Amazing break over Xmas. Nice little tree up and some lights. Very cosy. Great Xmas walk only 10 mins from the lodge. To Blake fell. Very picturesque. Very quiet with soothing sounds from the stream behind. Hot tub was nice after a day of walks.

It was a great location close to the A1. Very comfortable and relaxing lodge with lots of paths to walk the dog.

Great cabin in beautiful grounds. It had everything we needed, an amazing shower, a great log burner with some logs available, everything we needed in the kitchen, comfortable beds and great outdoor areas to relax in. Hosts were warm, welcoming, very helpful and responsive to needs. Would definitely recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy retreat! The sound of the stream flowing nearby was incredibly calming and added to the serene atmosphere. The space was clean, well-equipped, and perfectly located for a relaxing getaway. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind in a tranquil setting!

Our stay in Maple Pod over the new year was exactly what we asked for. Lucy was amazing from the start. We received a message the day before letting us know we could check in from an earlier time if we wanted and also received a message the morning of our departure saying that we could have a later check out if we wanted. The hosts even left a token gift of Prosecco and chocolates when we arrived lovely touch The pod was perfect: spotless kitchen, dining area, bedroom and bathroom. The views from the pod were beautiful even if it was a terrible storm whilst we were there. Our dog had the time of his life roaming free in the fields. We can’t thank you enough for our perfect new year stay and hope to be back in spring summer time.

Fantastic, exactly as described. Lovely and toasty in the comfy bed (it was -1 outside). Very close to a great pub for tea and a kiosk (coffee and bacon butty) for breakfast. A great place to stay when doing the Cumbria Way.

We stayed at Charleen’s place for a couple of days including NYE, the cabin had been decorated with Christmas decorations which was a lovely touch. There was lot of games available to use and Charleen had left us some welcome gifts including milk which was very much appreciated! We were 4 adults and one dog 🐶 visiting and it was perfect, it could potentially be quite tight for 6 adults, due to size of the beds and also number of comfy seats. But if you are 6 close friends I don’t think it would be much of a problem! You may want to bring a bigger sauce pan or some trays if you like to cook. It was quite muddy up to the entrance but that was to be expected in Northumberland in December, but I’d recommend waterproof shoes when visiting! We had very poor weather, wind weather warnings and lots of rain. Charleen messaged to say she had provided us with an extra heater for the bathroom, which came in handy. The cabin is small so heats up well and lots of blankets are provided.

Two day break over New Year avoiding fireworks for the dog - this place is amazing - the huts are well situated and thoughtfully kitted out - the views are phenomenal - if your aim is to get back to nature - this is the place. On New Years Day the Dark Skies were amazing with both a myriad of stars as well as Northern Lights. Most importantly for us was the communication with the hosts - very helpful and very proactive - good practical advice and recommendations. Would highly recommend.

Had a wonderful stay as a returning guest at this Airbnb. The location is fantastic, with easy access to local attractions. The amenities provided were great, and the place was spotless clean upon arrival. Highly recommend!

my friends and I had a great stay at the cabin. It was worth every penny. Beautiful surroundings, secluded in nature and cosy inside. Loved the log fire and hot tub which made it even better. Close to the coast and other parts of Northumberland to visit. Sarah went above and beyond during our stay and made us feel really welcome.

We had a fantastic stay at Noir Nook. The interior was beautifully decorated, cosy, with attention to detail and we felt right at home. We travelled into Edinburgh one day from the Airbnb, which was around an hour way and an easy drive. We would also recommend fish and chips from The Fryery nearby in Biggar. Massive thank you to Tamika for a lovely stay!

Had a great peaceful stay at Highside Farm after a long trek. It was clean, had all amenities, and very welcoming. Sadly, we couldn’t do the barbecue we had planned due to high winds. Otherwise, we enjoyed the stay and the scenery.

We really enjoyed our stay. The cottage was clean and well-equipped. The location has a beautiful view and was very quiet, yet close to both Innerleithen and Peebles. We would definitely stay again!
