Simon was never intrusive, but quick to respond with any query we had. The flat has a beautiful outlook over the lock with a large garden at the back which our cat enjoyed. The flat is warm and peaceful, and only 20 minutes from the car ferry at Hunter's Quay with Benmore Botanic Gardens, Kilmun Arboretum and Puck's Glen even closer for long walks. There are cafes and restaurants a short distance from the flat - we particularly enjoyed the Blairmore Cafe and shop - great for late breakfasts and late lunches. Will be back

A beautiful stay over new year's at Cuan cave. Second visit to the site and we loved it again! Cave was cosy and warm despite crazy winds and rain outside. Great little kitchen and beautiful views of the cove. Moments of sunshine and great location meant we couldn't wait to be outside. Cuan the dog kept us company and entertained the kiddos for hours! Would highly recommend.

If you are looking for off-the-beaten-track luxury with incredible wildlife, views of beautiful Loch Etive and the surrounding mountains which are second to none - then this is the place for you! Our family of 7 had a wonderful stay here and we were sad to leave. We highly recommend this Air BnB and we would love to visit again. Note: we were thankful to find teabags and coffee - but bring your own milk. ;)

Second time staying at Eleanor’s cottage in Lochgoilhead and I hope it won’t be the last. A wonderful, peaceful few days where we were with relaxing by the wood burner or out exploring the stunning surroundings

Wow! What an incredible find. The pictures don’t do this place justice. The peace and tranquility whilst looking through the window out onto the loch and to the mountains is unreal. You’ll leave in love with the property and the location. We will definitely be back.

We loved the amazing location and could have stared out at the sound all day long. Watching the Luing ferry come and go was really cool and Cuan was a truly wonderful caretaker dog, we couldn't have loved him more!

Jackie's caravan is located in the backyard of her house, facing the sea, in the adorable village of Arisaig. It's a great experience to spend a few nights in this cute caravan with a comfortable queen bed. 2 very good restaurants right next door and a supermarket open until 9pm. We had dinner in the trailer one evening which is very well equipped. The shower & toilet, very clean, are located in a small building right next door. Jackie was waiting for us behind her window to welcome us (a few minutes walk from Arisaig train station, train ride from amazing Glasgow! Great views, Hogwarts Express viaduct, etc.) and was very helpful at the start to help us following the cancellation of our ferry. Thanks to her! I would recommend this place for an original experience in the pretty village of Arisaig, away from the mass tourism of Fort William & Mallaig.

Lovely apartment within walking distance of Dunoon town centre. Kitchen was exceptionally well equipped and even had a slow cooker and air fryer if you wanted to cook ( we didn’t). Always cosy

A lovely New Years stay, beautiful cosy cottage with everything you need for a stay in terms of utensils, amenities etc. Breathtaking surroundings with beautiful views. Caroline was great, very helpful and gave clear instructions with checking in and out.

We had a very cosy and comfortable stay in Lisa's caravan. It was well equipped, clean and warm. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Glasgow. We had the best of both worlds, a beautiful view and landscape to explore plus an easy train into the city. It ticked all the boxes.

This place is an absolute gem, relaxing and peaceful nature plus beautiful interior design. Kitchen full of appliances, a wonderful fireplace and steam room in the bathroom! Words can’t express what a perfect place this is! Hosts are very responsive and proactive with local recommendations. I can’t wait to come back!

We stayed at Chris’ place over new year and it was perfect. A stunning setting with some lovely walks and right by the water. We saw red squirrels, an otter, a heron and lots of other birds. It was a short stay but there was a lot more to see and do than we managed.

A beautifully renovated cottage. We loved the kitchen/lounge room, especially the window seat overlooking the loch. Sensible stone flooring (but not cold) for the dog. Bunk beds were comfortable and spacious for my 25 yr old daughter and her best friend. Large well fenced garden great for dog. We 4 adults also enjoyed the children's swing ! Shower was amazing, fantastic water pressure. In all a very comfortable, clean and well equipped cottage. A beautiful place for a holiday.

I've just returned from a week on the Isle of Bute, where I stayed at Ettrick Cottage. The accommodation is fantastic and really high quality with great views across Ettrick Bay. The hosts were very helpful with their communication prior to arrival and were very discrete. It was a wonderful stay in well appointed accommodation.

Fircliff was a fabulous place for our family get together. The house is very well equipped and worked brilliantly for our group of 11. There’s plenty of room for everyone to have their own space if needed and two nice rooms to meet up for meals and socialising. Everyone had a really great time and we wouldn’t hesitate to go there again. Many thanks to Lucy & Ed

We just had the most wonderful stay at Sadhara bothy. The location is remote and stunning, perfect for a peace and quiet getaway. The bothy is well equipped, clean and cosy. The fireplace got the bothy nice and toasty. It's also a 20 min drive through beautiful red deer moorland to the train station where we picked up some fantastic cake to eat on the train and watch the awesome scenery go by on the west highland line. There were beautiful walks through the blackwood, a pristine loch you could get out on, and pleanty of wildlife to spot. Will have to go back again to explore more. What an amazing stay we had! Jill is a fantastic host who helped us make this weekend unforgettable! The apartment was beautiful, with incredible views on the loch. Very quiet and peaceful. It has everything you need. My children also loved it and were happy that they had toys and books available in their room. Jill was very friendly and even booked a table at the local pub for us. She also help me organise a surprise birthday! This airbnb is a little gem and we will definitely be back, maybe when the weather is warmer. I would highly recommend it.

The cottage was PERFECT in every way! Clean, beautiful, comfortable and it had everything that we needed and more! The garden looked lovely and the views were spectacular! It’s a shame our visit was so short!! Thank you Jason and Mairi…we will be back!! 🤩
