Family-friendly vacation rentals in Kerikeri

Honestly, the photos don't do Scott & Miriam's home justice - there's so much light, warmth and character to this home and you can tell they put a lot of thought into both the structural layout for the family and the overall presentation for guests. Having rented 2 cars and bought another during our stay, parking space was also not a concern. The hot tub was lovely but I'll personally miss the lovely garden space (we thoroughly enjoyed the tomatoes) and the decking which was was perfect for relaxing and just staring out to the beach after a long day. Before even arriving, we were sent a very useful guide to operating different bits of the house as well as local recommendations; our hosts were always available to respond to queries and were quick to offer help. Massive thank you to Scott and Miriam for making us feel so welcome during our first month in NZ!

Our group of four had a great time at Peter and Jacqueline’s place and would definitely recommend it to others. The view was amazing (all the bedrooms had water views!). They were so helpful and the two resident cats were charming little co-hosts. We also enjoyed the spa on the upstairs deck—a great way to relax after a day of touring.

I loved staying here so much. So beautiful, right on the beach, can't ask for better than that. The view from the deck and inside was so nice. You can hear the waves inside the unit. The cable bay store is very close. Such a lovely place in the far north. I would love to stay here again.

This was such a welcome break after a hectic time travelling. Lovely seating area with views over the water. Leeann was very welcoming and accommodating. The apartment was clean and nicely laid out. The hot tub was a bonus.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Lovely location by the beach and got some great tips from Bruce about things to do around the stay. Also loved the complementary book gift.

I have stayed in a lot of places but Anneke’s place is very special. If I could give it 10 stars I would. The view and layout of the unit is just about the best I have ever experienced with an Air bnb. The bed was comfortable, the unit was immaculate and waking up to that view was wonderful. We stayed for a week and we could have stayed much longer. We thank her for her kindness and hospitality.

Fantastic place! We thoroughly enjoyed the location with the beach right by its doorstep and enjoyed the walks to Opua township on one side and Paihia the other. The house is clean and the view from both the deck and living area is amazing. Jane and Tony were welcoming and we especially loved the freshly baked homemade sourdough bread.

The stay at Blackrock was truly outstanding. The beautiful house that is located on the cliff side with stunning views and crisp and clean condition wow’ed every single one of our group. Exceeded all expectations!

We enjoyed our stay there with our dogs. The sea view is stunning and this home is having all the facilities that makes your stay comfortable. Prefer to stay again here.

Chris is an amazing host, very easy to communicate always responsive. She gave us a welcome gift of the most delicious Luisa plum from her garden. The apartment is located in a very nice neighborhood. The garden is beautiful and very relaxing. The house is very big and is great for a long term stay coz they have all amenities needed. I will definitely recommend this bnb to friends and family

Very comfortable little place with a ton of nice little touches like artwork, good appliances, comfortable outdoor seating. Very close to the beach and the estuary. Even if you aren't a dog person, the dogs are so well behaved and quiet, they occasionally will visit you and you can give them a pat if you like.

Awesome spot! can launch boat out front, plenty of space. peaceful with epic scenery. Ya can't beat waking up on the beach! owners super nice and easy to deal with.

Beautiful spot. Unfortunately the weekend we went was raining & huge swell but bach was sheltered and out of the wind. Sea looked amazing watching rain squalls coming in & rainbows. Will have to stay again & hopefully weather will be sunny next time.

Was well worth the stay the photos dont do it justice the place is beautiful me an my family had so much fun playing spotlight an exsploring the garden an the beach. We are definitely booking for Christmas time

We were six couples who had a thoroughly enjoyable break from city life for 5 days. Used it as a base to do day trips to go fishing, trip to Cape Reinga and Kerikeri. Big comfortable home and friendly responsive host

There are not enough words to say how special this place is. This is my second trip and it felt even more welcoming than the last time. The hosts, Rob and Joe, could not have been kinder or more responsive. It’s rare to find a place that has both such high end amenities and is genuinely welcoming. This is a truly special place, both because of the location, view, and over the top amenities, and because of the hosts, Joe, Rob, and Udo.

We had a wonderful stay. Super convenient location. Lovely house with everything you could need and more. Family friendly and perfect for a group getaway. I would highly recommend Blue Penguin cottage for your stay in Russell.

We came up from Auckland for a wedding & the property was local to everything The property was great and both Rob & his wife were lovely. We barely seen them so we decided to go say hello down at their Phat House bar in haruru. We had a couple of nephews come and visit while we were up aswell . Catching up with whanau and coming back to relax there was lovely .

This is very nice place to stay. A quiet area with some good walks. My situation was a little different as I wasn't on holiday and wanted somewhere quiet and reasonably close to the hospital where I was visiting my husband each day. The property is off the road and there are auto gates. As I was on my own this made me feel very safe - on top of which Genevieve was in the main house a lot of the day. It was comfortable and cosy (given my stay was during the winter) and Genevieve and her husband went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. Thoroughly recommend and if I ever need to be in Whangarei for any length of time I hope I can use this accommodation again.

We had a fantastic stay at Pacific Rendezvous, there were lots of amenities on site and beautiful walks we could access straight from our accomodation. The staff were friendly and the apartment was comfortable and gad everything we needed. We would love to visit again!
