Great communication from start to finish. House was an easy walk to the beach and very tidy. Appreciate the note and homely touches. Definitely recommend!

Tracie and David are such lovely hosts. We felt very at home and had a great time staying at their place. Loved the selection of board games and the spacious outdoor area where we enjoyed some bbq. The airbnb is also very close to the beach and town proper. Would highly recommend for anyone visiting Whitianga 😊

Felt right at home - a warm friendly space and a very flexible welcome from Nessie. Walking distance from the main town (20 mins) and all along a beautiful waterside in both directions, Very private down a ( very tight) drive , but a clean relaxing home. Would recommend.

We enjoyed our stay, the place was exactly as pictured, very close to shopping areas and the host was very responsive!

A great place to stay close to the shops and beach. Park your car and walk everywhere. Well stocked kitchen. We enjoyed family time on the large deck and spacious living area. Quite loud music from a bar nearby but stopped by 10pm.

Suzy’s beach house was an amazing getaway for our family. Lots of space and the views were amazing. Suzy has spent a lot of energy making the place feel like a home. She was also very available for questions. I hope we can stay again in the future, thanks Suzy!!

We really enjoyed our stay here in beautiful Waihi! the location is very central, a short 2 min walk to the beach at the end of the street. We had 6x adults and loved that it was dog friendly so were able to bring our 2x dogs. The bedrooms were very comfortable. The large deck area was also great, it was a perfect fit! Highly recommend to anyone looking to stay at a classic kiwi batch by the beach!

The view was outstanding. The location was perfect for our family group of 5 - close enough to town to make going there easy, but far enough away to be totally peaceful. The living space was nice and big. Our family enjoyed the board games provided. It was great to have the separate cottage for my Mum to stay in - it had a nice spacious area for her to hang out in when she wanted some quiet time, and it had a fridge so she was able to make herself cups of tea in the morning without having to come to the main house. Sonia was very helpful and responsive during our stay. Would happily stay there again!

It was quite nice to walk to the beach when we arrived. Mark and Cheryl are very fresh and helpful. We had a very quiet and restful evening.

We loved our long weekend at Verena's place. I booked it for its perfect location. 4 minutes walk into the main strip, 1 block from the beach and 2 blocks from the harbour. We hardly used our car at all. In addition, it's a very quiet area. There is so much to do and see in Whangamata. So many eateries too. The studio was immaculate, with lovely touches such as milk, tea, two types of coffee and hot chocolate. Our bed was very comfortable and the shower was great. We had a good chat about local attractions to visit, which I hadn't known about prior. We will be back next summer. Thanks for a great stay Verena, from Rita and Tim Shields!

This is a very idyllic place, a secluded oasis surrounded by trees and birds, but only a 10 minute drive to the world class Otama beach which is only visited by a handful of people. In the other direction the beautiful seaside town of Whitianga is easily reached. Muriel and Evan are absolutely lovely people, we enjoyed meeting and talking, seeing their garden and visiting the eels which live in a small creek on the property. Thank you so much for having us.

We had such a wonderful time! This is truly a beautiful Airbnb in a stunning location. It had everything we could possibly need and Robyn made us feel right at home. Our son enjoyed all the toys, puzzles and wanted to go kayaking as soon as his eyes opened in the morning. We will be back!

We loved our stay here. The place was very clean, and our host checked in daily to see if there was anything we needed. It was just a couple minutes walk from the beach, which was beautiful and often there was was only one or two people walking so it felt like our own private beach.

Great little spot very close to restaurants and other amenities in Cooks Beach. Jo and Steve were very friendly both in online and in person communications, and their dog Lucy is a doll. Would recommend this spot to anyone visiting the Coromandel area.

This is a beautiful spot overlooking Mercury Bay: beaches close by, activities, and great privacy. Tracy was the most accommodating host I ever encountered. Delightful, responsive, helped every step of the way. Really outstanding. It is close to Whitianga shops and Coromandel activities such as sea cave adventures, Cook’s Beach, Hahei, Hot water beach, Cathedral Cove although a car might be necessary to access all the sites. Wonderful experience.

The view that we wake up to every morning is spectacular! The compact kitchen has everything one needs to prepare a decent meal. Alan is friendly and walks us through what we needed to know about the house. There are reclining chairs and grill provided for our use.

We loved our staying at Faye’s place in Whangamata. It was sparkling clean and well appointed, and the location is amazing - just a tiny walk to the amazing beach with beautiful sea views from the living room and balcony. Faye was so friendly with her communication and was extremely understanding when we interrupted her Friday evening by accidentally locking ourselves out 🫣 (thanks again!!). I would high recommend a stay here and would love to visit again. All the best Faye.

Easy check in instructions, close to supermarket and restaurants, very comfortable bed (we slept well!), tea, coffee and milk available and everything you need to self catering. 2 bedrooms available. Parking available onsite. Thank you for having us!

So happy with this accommodation, just wish I had remembered it didn't come with sheets and towels... but that was my fault. I would absolutely stay here again. :)
