Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Kennedy Bay

Beautiful setting in native bush. Well equipped. It’s well lived in but felt very cosy and we really enjoyed our stay.

Tracie and David are such lovely hosts. We felt very at home and had a great time staying at their place. Loved the selection of board games and the spacious outdoor area where we enjoyed some bbq. The airbnb is also very close to the beach and town proper. Would highly recommend for anyone visiting Whitianga 😊

A great place to stay close to the shops and beach. Park your car and walk everywhere. Well stocked kitchen. We enjoyed family time on the large deck and spacious living area. Quite loud music from a bar nearby but stopped by 10pm.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Suzy’s! Suzy was super helpful and responsive with any questions we had and it felt like a home away from home. From the fully equipped kitchen to the outdoor bbq/woodfired pizza area, we had everything we needed to cook with if we were eating in. Suzy had lots of local recommendations which were great for dining and entertainment for the kids too. We enjoyed our little visits from Max, Suzy’s wee dog too! The stunning views and surroundings created a tranquil experience and our 11 nights were just what we needed to escape and unwind. We will treasure our stay and plan to be back next year! We absolutely loved our stay at Sarah’s place in Cooks beach. There was plenty of space and everything was clean and lovely. We went with our two young kids and my mum, mum had her own private space and bathroom to herself at one end with us at the other. There was plenty of space to relax as well as it being a safe outdoor area for the kids to run around with the fenced property. We loved walking down and having the days at the beach and spending the evenings outside taking in the last of the sun with a bbq and a quiet wine. We also enjoyed exploring lonely bay and taking the ferry over to Whitianga where the kids enjoyed the short boat ride and the playground there. A great spot for a summer wind down!

An absolute fantastic place. We had a wonderful time. Kent and Lauren have communicated very well and very responsive if needed. Very close to centre. Kids enjoyed the table tennis and the dart game. Perfect for a family retreat! Thank you so much

The view was outstanding. The location was perfect for our family group of 5 - close enough to town to make going there easy, but far enough away to be totally peaceful. The living space was nice and big. Our family enjoyed the board games provided. It was great to have the separate cottage for my Mum to stay in - it had a nice spacious area for her to hang out in when she wanted some quiet time, and it had a fridge so she was able to make herself cups of tea in the morning without having to come to the main house. Sonia was very helpful and responsive during our stay. Would happily stay there again!

Amazing place in beautifully designed gardens. It was so nice to sit in the loungeroom and enjoy this private sanctuary. The hosts are the best we have ever come across! Mark greeted us and Cheryl saw us off and we had lovely chats with them, but apart from that, it did feel like you were in your own private oasis. The place was beyond clean with amazing facilities, the shower was great and the bed was extremely comfortable. It is an easy walk to a swim safe beach and the local fish and chip shop is top notch. My partner and I will be recommending this place to our family and friends and we can't wait to stay here again.

We had a very enjoyable stay. The location is excellent, easy walking distance to beach, restaurants and shops. John has supplied everything to make your holiday enjoyable. My husband enjoyed going for a ride along the beach. The unit was extremely clean and tidy. Whitianga is a great spot for a holiday and we will definitely return to stay here again.

What can I say...this place is heaven on earth . The pictures are good but it's so much better in real life. Sad to leave but already planning a return trip. From the moment we arrived Muriel and Evan made us feel at home. They offered suggestions on where to eat and local attractions as well as some history of the area.

We stayed in David’s and Sue place for nearly two weeks and as soon as we arrived their place we feel like at home. Both host were lovely, attentive and responsive. Almost every day we had a lovely chat and lots of recommendations. We would love to go back again.

A fab place to stay. Lovely and close to harbour, and walkable to town. The house is also lovely and cool on a hot day and so nice when you want to get out of the sun. Great owners, would def recommend.

The studio apartment was just what we needed. Well appointed and great views. Compact and practical as a base for enjoying the beach during the day or exploring the island. We had a lovely 2 weeks in the apartment and felt quite at home. It reminded us of our stays in AirBnBs around southern Europe. Nickie and Pete are great hosts and always responsive and helpful.

We had a lovely stay at Tanique and Mike’s place while visiting for my best friend’s wedding. The place was immaculately clean, cosy, comfortable and very private.

This is the best point. - Location is good if you want to enjoy suburb area. Need to rent a car, but worth to visit beautiful Clevedon town. You can walk to forest. Nice playground is in a walking distance. - Enough personal space with good facility. Clean.

We loved our staying at Faye’s place in Whangamata. It was sparkling clean and well appointed, and the location is amazing - just a tiny walk to the amazing beach with beautiful sea views from the living room and balcony. Faye was so friendly with her communication and was extremely understanding when we interrupted her Friday evening by accidentally locking ourselves out 🫣 (thanks again!!). I would high recommend a stay here and would love to visit again. All the best Faye.

Great place , short bus ride from the ferry . Bit more than 5 mins to walk to the beach tho - but lovely view of the sea . Definitely recommend!

So happy with this accommodation, just wish I had remembered it didn't come with sheets and towels... but that was my fault. I would absolutely stay here again. :)
