Farmstay vacation rentals in Kendall County

I decided to stay here last minute in NYE because I don't like bring in the city when everyone lights fire. This place was an absolute treat especially for the last minute reservations. It was so quiet and peaceful. The free roaming animals are really cool and they let my 2 dogs have an entire fence in field to run in during our stay. The restaurants are close but far enough to make this place "in the niddle of nowhere." My daughter and I really enjoyed the horses, birds and goats. It was such a busy day but so refreshing and a great way to start our New Year. My 13 year old and I decided this is our go-to when we want to get away in the future.

Good furniture, comfortable bed, and a very sweet, beautiful, friendly cat that loves everyone makes a person feel at home in the very peaceful setting you will find yourself in. A very relaxing atmosphere

I can't say enough about Vicky And Micky, they were fabulous! We did the tour and the horse back riding and we even decided to do the dinner. Everything they are doing that farm is amazing and all non-profit to help save animals. If you're hesitant about dinner and price looks too much, DON'T BE! We were hesitant but they sincerely out did themselves. They have a culinary background and wowed us from beginning to end, it absolutely worth every penny! They know what they're doing in kitchen and tailored everything to our likes. It was such a relaxing weekend to get way, very nice place.

My family enjoyed the stay at poco loco ranch. The kids enjoyed everything from the cows,the hiking area,the pool they LOVED the game room. Poco Loco Ranch is a Great place to visit with family there is so much to do.

Vicky and Micky work hard to keep guests happy. I arrived right after Texas had record breaking cold temperatures, it hadn't been that cold since the 1800s. Naturally, this created some issues that were completely out of their control but Vicky and Micky worked hard to ensure all guests were taken care of. I wasn't able to get the cabin I reserved at first but they were able to move me into it a couple of days later. They worked hard to make up for the change in venue. Each of the cabins are a little different and have different stand out features. I was going to be working during my stay and the Lone Star cabin looked like a good fit. Its comfortable, peaceful, has good wi-fi and looks great. It is also set up well for a larger group. I loved the goats, pigs and donkeys freely roaming around. They are very dog friendly which was a major deciding factor for me. There are tons of add ons to cater to all kinds of experiences.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Accommodations were clean and comfortable. They have a great thing going with rescue animals and birds. Micky took us on a tour and told us heart warming stories how they adopted these animals. This was an “experience “ and not typical Airbnb accommodations! Highly recommend!

It was really the outdoors! It was a unique experience upon arrival. Vicky and micky both accommodated my needs and we’re super helpful. Love this place!

Beautiful and peaceful property! We loved walking by the lakes and the creek and seeing the zebras. Also loved the firepit and outdoor fireplace and appreciated that they supplied the firewood. Roomy and comfortable home- well decorated with rustic Texas vibe.

I can't say enough great things about Micky and Vicky. They were awesome from start to finish. The day before our stay we found out that the original cabin that we booked had been accidentally double booked. We had originally booked a two bedroom cabin for my wife and I and another couple. Micky and Vicky called us and said that, due to the double booking, they were going to put us in two other cabins. One for my wife and I and one for the other couple. When we arrived and saw that those two cabins were too small for us we called Micky and Vicky. Understanding our problem the quickly offered to trade with us. Micky and Vicky would stay in the small cabin, and they allowed us and our friends to stay in their private 3 bedroom residence. That's right. They allowed us to stay in their own private residence while they loaded up their animals and personal belongings to move to the small cabin during our entire stay. How's that for customer service. They were absolutely the best hosts ever.

We absolutely loved our stay at the farmhouse! Our hosts were kind and good communicators. It was the perfect space for my family while traveling to TX to see more family. Will definitely book again.

A wonderful location outside of Fredericksburg. You’re definitely out in the country, but not too far away from town if you need something. A lovely spot to relax and watch the stars. Highly recommend!

It is a great place to stay and Holly is a wonderful host. I was under the impression there was a kitchen. There is no stove to cook on, only a microwave and toaster oven

This well appointed Air BNB close to downtown Boerne was amazing. private with a large yard and front/back decks for relaxing in the sun. The walk to town and to the river pathwas quick and along sidewalks. The house lends itself well to multigenerational or two family visits. The large back room has three beds and its own bathroom and the front bedroom has easy access to the other full bathroom. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to cook your own meal with high quality pans and a variety of spices/ baking staples. We stayed in the large room with an infant and toddler while my inlaws took the other bedroom The TV is connected to a variety of streaming services, including Disney and the wifi was reliable. All in all this place was amazing and I highly reccomend it!

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely home! It was spacious, clean, and well-kept, with everything we needed. It was even more stunning than the pictures!The property itself was beautiful, offering plenty of space to walk around and explore. The kids especially enjoyed playing onsite frisbee golf. Our host, John, was incredibly kind, attentive, and quick to respond. The nearby steakhouse was a fantastic find—delicious and the perfect meal after a long day of soccer games. If we’re ever in the area again, we’d love to stay here!

Amazing place!! Perfect for a peaceful retreat while still having restaurants and supermarkets 5min away. The mini horses are so beautiful! My kids loved them. The house is perfect for a restful getaway, it has everything you need. Yaya is an excellent host, super friendly and super quick responses to all of our questions! Will definitely come back!

The Nerds and the Bees cabin is a beautiful place to stay and unwind. Sitting on the deck at night, with the stars and the moon - it was so peaceful and quiet. The bed upstairs is very comfortable, we fell right to sleep. In the morning, my husband and I enjoyed coffee on the porch listening to the deer running around and the birds in the trees. Elizabeth is the perfect hostess, evident in the care taken to create an inviting space for her guests and provide the amenities one would not usually anticipate at an airbnb, like fresh honey. It was delicious. We will definitely look to book her cabin again.

This was a wonderful place to stay! Our children loved the animals and it was a beautiful blessing in the Hill Country. John and Amy were great to work with every step of the way. Hope to come back!

The farmhouse was an excellent hill country getaway experience, complete with scenic views of nearby rolling hills, ranch land and sunrise/sunsets while still being close to tue action in Boerne. The farm animals (sheep, goat and chickens) complete the vibe of rural ranch living-you will share the plenty of outdoor space to enjoy a night fire in the pit without interruptions. In fact, the outdoor fire pit and the available gas grill allowed us to make a complete seafood paella. Finally, the hosts were more than excellent. They were very accommodating and responsive to our inquiries, especially upon arrival. The hosts truly embody the native Texan spirit of community and we will surely stay here again.

This property is gorgeous and peaceful. Melissa was a very sweet, kind, and understanding host to my son and I. The Airbnb was fully stocked with everything and needed and they were responsive when I asked for help. I’d go back in a heartbeat. It’s 10 min from the downtown boerne area and the river. The cows and goats were a nice treat when they came by to visit. Hope to visit again. Thanks.

The Kingsby Cottage was the perfect weekend escape from the city and work-day grind that my husband and I needed. The cottage was charming, clean and well designed. Our stay extended into part of the work week, so I was relieved that the property had a strong Wi-Fi (fellow work-from-homers can attest to the stress of finding a place that will allow for 8 hours worth of dreaded zoom calls. Ha) We loved watching the free range chickens, lambs, and resident goat that would wander up to the house. We had the opportunity to meet the owner and he was so friendly. He took the time to chat with us, share his vision for the property, and even brought us farm fresh eggs and grass fed beef from his meat processing company. Definitely check this place out.
