Beautiful home. I cannot describe how pretty it looks with the natural frozen lake surroundings, you really have to see it for yourself. Everything was spotless, great location close to Walmart, Bulk Barn, Pet Store and even some Tesla superchargers if you're coming in an EV. The outdoor jacuzzi was a wonderful addition. Kitchen is fully stocked with all appliances and things you'll need (and more)! Neighbourhood is very quiet and the surrounding residences are filled with friendly folks. Only thing to make a note of is the fire pit is not accessible during the winter due to the massive amounts of snow near and on it. All in all, 10/10 would highly recommend and would love to return.

Jason was very responsive to our questions and issues with the property. He promptly came out to clear any accumulated snow fall and was nearby to help if needed. We also appreciated the proximity to town and conveniences, plus it is a beautiful location on the Muskoka River. We felt at ease in the house and had a wonderful 18 days with visiting friends and family over the Holidays.

Amazing cottage with location, view and amenities. We enjoyed the fire place, hot tub and sauna a lot. Hosts were great with their timely responses and flexibility on check in and out. Thanks. We will be back again..

We had an amazing stay at this cottage! The hot tub was perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring, and the billiard table added so much fun to our evenings. The view was absolutely breathtaking, making every moment feel like a getaway to paradise. The cottage was clean, well-equipped, and incredibly cozy. We would highly recommend this place and can’t wait to come back!

Overall impression; Hosts are very well organized, communicated quickly, VERY friendly. Cottage is spacious for our large family. Outdoor space was lovely during a winter snow squall. Was able to make an ice rink on the lake, toboggan on the hill by the stairs. Ping pong, foosball, and pool table kept everyone active indoor. Kids LOVED the secret room. Must search for it to be pleasantly surprised. Enjoyed the sauna and hot tub. Love that it was Pet friendly! Had some minor issues which were addressed promptly by hosts (via text) so really appreciated that. Had a power outage on day of departure but hosts were understanding of situation. Hosts even went above and beyond after our departure, offering to ship a sentimental stuffed animal that was left behind by my nephew :). That was a VERY memorable gesture. We would definitely stay here again or visit one of their other locations. Price was reasonable for our budget.

This is our second time staying here and it is amazing. The hot tub is great in the winter, the space is cozy and the area is amazing. The host is extremely proactive and responsive. Highly Recommend staying here if you get the chance.

Pam’s place is incredible, beautifull cottage and surroundings, loved the wood stove fireplace. Wifi super fast!!! We will come back for sure.

We stayed at this cozy and welcoming cottage as a group of five for four nights, and overall, we had a great experience. The space was warm, inviting, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. However, there were a few downsides: we had to bring our own duvets, which took up a lot of space in the car along with our luggage. Additionally, the instructions for trash disposal were unclear, making it difficult to manage with limited car space. The frying pans were also quite scratched, which made cooking a bit tricky. Despite these minor inconveniences, we still enjoyed our stay and would recommend this cottage with a heads-up about these details

We enjoyed a quiet, relaxing stay. The setting is lovely, with a private beach, kayaks etc. The kitchen is fully stocked with all you need to cook a meal.

Kerry's place was fantastic! One important thing to note is that guests need to provide their own linens, pillows, towels, and toilet paper/paper towels. This information is found in the "About the Space" section, but it’s crucial for guests to know, especially since we arrived at night when it was quite cold and hadn’t brought any supplies. I recommend that this information be included in the welcome message when a guest books the property to avoid similar situations. On the day we arrived, the heater stopped working, but Kerry was quick to assist us and sent an electrician to address the issue. Fortunately, there is a chimney in the cottage, and once we lit it, the space became warm and cozy. As first-time cottage visitors, it truly felt like an adventure. The place is magical, and Kerry is an outstanding host. Thank you for everything!

Stayed for a few nights over the holidays. Jonathan was very responsive and had above and beyond instructions and details for all the airbnb and area had to offer! Very cozy at home feeling and was so accommodating to us! would definitely return for a Muskoka get away!

The view is really impressive! The fact that the fire pit is right next to the lake made the atmosphere even more pleasant! There is a canoe and a kayak there, which guaranteed our fun even on a cold autumn day. In the afternoon we had a barbecue and then enjoyed a hot tub, which guaranteed relaxation at the end of the day! The house is beautiful inside, the rooms are simple but with comfortable mattresses, only the pillow was a little too firm, but nothing that kept us awake at night! In the kitchen we had all the utensils, except that some were stored dirty. The stove works but is a little weak, if you are planning on cooking there, just be patient and everything will be ready! Just one point, but this is the house rule and we already knew it, check-in is very late, only at 4pm and check-out has to be exactly at 11am. Consider getting up early. Overall we had a great stay, we enjoyed nature, watched the stars at night and left there refreshed to face the city routine again! Thanks!!

This cottage is an absolute gem. We had the best time, as did our golden retriever, by far one of his funnest weekends ever!!! The sandy beach was perfect for him. We loved the docks, kayaks, row boat, paddle board, all so fun and peaceful on the calm lake. The cottage was in a great location, easy to find. The inside of the cottage was so cozy. Minden is so close and such a cute town. Thank you!!!

Great place, it's just as described. great view over the lake the general store 20 mins away was handy for the few items we forgot (such as firewood), but the hosts kindly left enough wood for a couple fires, so we didn't have to rush out. The place is cozy, six people would be cramped to share the space in the winter, but I think this was a great deal at the price they charged.

We were very happy with our stay over Labour Day weekend. Lynne was a very responsive, helpful and engaged host. She offered an amazingly well stocked cottage, esp the kitchen. The cottage is spacious and bright. A few windows could be openned but there was central AC. One bedroom is a loft, accessed by a small staircase. The waterfront was very pretty, with lots of chairs, kayaks, a pontoon boat, ski doos and a great fire pit w lots of logs. There isn’t beach access at her cottage but there is a nice beach with sand for guests of the community within walking distance. The cottage is accessed through a community of RV, many w beautiful additions. There is a river winding through this community. Her property is separate and private. We appreciated how quiet it was around us and on the water.

We booked the cottage for 2 nights we loved it so much that we wanted to extend our stay as it felt so peaceful and calm. Lana was so accommodating to our needs she is an amazing host and understood our needs . I love the way she gave clear instructions on how to get to the cottage . We would love to come back again next year.

We enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend with family at the cottage. Cozy, clean and everything we needed! Gorgeous and peaceful lake views and nice walking around the area. Playground nearby for the little kids and big kids too. Would recommend.

We had a fantastic three-day stay at a lovely cottage in Minden Hills, Ontario, to celebrate the New Year. From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted by the peaceful surroundings and the picturesque winter landscape. One of the highlights of our experience was how responsive and helpful Paul was. Whenever we had questions or needed assistance, he was quick to reply and always made sure we had everything we needed. His attentiveness added a personal touch that truly elevated our trip. The location was perfect, offering both tranquility and access to nearby trails for winter walks. We spent our evenings relaxing by the fire and enjoying the quiet beauty of the snowy woods. The cottage setting was spectacular! Quiet and peaceful with the amenities my group loves - big, comfortable common spaces, a large kitchen, and rooms for private, peaceful sleeping. The wood burning fireplace was a real treat.

Me and my friends had a great experience at the Long House, the pictures do not do it enough justice, it is beautiful. Everything was close proximity to the cottage and the hosts were very kind and helpful whenever we needed anything. Would love to come here again
