Guesthouse vacation rentals in Karangasem Regency

Came here with 2 kids. The set up was perfect for us. Location of the unit was good; walking distance to nice restaurants, Cafés, shops, supermarket. Service was excellent and host was responsive and helpful.

Very clean and aesthetic. Loved the terrace. Could’ve been a bit brighter .. The host was very responsive and the stuff was very helpful. (Soon laundry etc)

Great value just down the street from the monkey forest, shops, restaurants. Maybe 20 minute walk to the public market. I walked everywhere. It is a short walk down a narrow paver path to the homestay from the street where you'll be dropped off. The room and bathroom are super clean and spacious, everyone friendly. I'd go back again.

I cannot say enough positive things about my stay at Santra Putra and about the wonderful hosts, Komang and his family. What a special, special place. The room was spacious and lovely and surrounded by lush beautiful gardens teeming with flowers and birds and riotous greenery. There is art everywhere and the founder is an accomplished and talented artist and educator. His wife Made and sister in law Ketut, and son Komang, and the team there are all just amazing humans, full of goodwill, humor and kindness. I can’t believe I dropped into this awesomeness. Santra Putra draws some wonderful people as well and conversations around the breakfast table were wonderful and generative. I felt the perfect balance of privacy and connectivity. The kitchen in my space was great for my needs and I felt right at home. Bed was very comfortable and I always felt safe as a solo traveler. Location great. Access to many cafes, restaurants, beautiful walks.. Thank you Komang and family. Will return.

Gusti's place is very well decorated, it's very clean and looks new. There's an outdoor (covered) kitchen which can be very usefull. The bathroom is large and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable also! It's just better to have a motorbike to go to the center of Ubud or if you want to go to the restaurant.

I really enjoyed my stay. The room had a nice big comfortable bed and the air conditioning worked well. Beautiful views of the ocean from the rooms. Had everything I needed at a very reasonable price. I didn’t use the swimming pool but it looked really nice. The host and staff were all very friendly and helpful. I organised a scooter through these guys and the scooter was very good - much newer than a lot of the other rental scooters. It’s an easy 5 minute scooter ride into the centre of Amed. I would happily stay here again and recommend to others.

The host was very responsive. We had a pleasant stay.

The place is very quiet and very well maintained. The view is really gigantic! The room was cleaned daily and the staff was always helpful. Breakfast is a matter of taste, but is always freshly prepared. The access to the property is not in good condition but it is already being repaired. You have to be prepared to hear the guests from the room opposite, as the walls are very thin since it is a wooden house. A means of transportation (e.g. a scooter) is really necessary as the surrounding shops, restaurants and sights are a good distance away. The entire complex is commendable. It is very well maintained on the property and also the pool is gigantic. So, all in all, highly recommended.

We had a nice stay in sidemen. The staff was very welcoming . 2 of our bedrooms overlooked the pool and the pump motor made a little noise.

only stayed one night of 4, not upset or bitter and did not ask for or expect a refund, just not the place for my partner and I Excellent location unfortunately no ocean view from the room and within the property grounds the view is unable to be fully appreciated due to the trees. I appreciate the owners desire to have trees and lush vegetation on their property. But as a guest, knowing one of the most amazing and beautiful views in Bali (possibly the world) is kept out of sight, combined with the room having very little natural light, the dated decor, less than impressive bathroom, lead us to decide to look for accommodation elsewhere in Ahmed, where we could be fully take in the beautiful and breathtaking views on offer. Surya (the housekeeper/on-site host) is a wonderful and amazing person we were sorry to say goodbye to. Apparently there has recently been a change in ownership/management of the property. This was likely a factor in my experience being less than stellar

This great apartment has an amazing view over the lake in stunning Kintamani. It is a modest comfortable warm room. Super close to the popular hot springs. The village was really interested to explore & everyone was so friendly. The team are super helpful & kind. Nicole was a great communicator & so generous with her help with my Mt Batur climb. She went above & beyond to help me out. She recommended a lovely Warung right on the lake. The locals were fishing with their families. There was also families camping near the lake for the school holidays. I had the freshest fish with veggies, rice & sambal. Delicious! I loved my stay here. If you like genuine experiences this place is worth booking.

Very good value for money in Bali, nice location. Bed is a bit soft if you are heavier, but still slept good. All in all great.

Thank the host for very friendly and easy-going communication, I have not faced any negative issues during my stay there :) And also, here is the beautiful territory and clean swimming pool

From our first enquiry through to the end of our stay Sukma & her team went above and beyond to accomodate us and our baby. The daily breakfast is delicious, room cleaned regularly, grounds of the villa tidied daily. The pool was kept immaculate throughout and was ideal for our 9 month old baby with 3 different depth areas so she could sit and splash around in the shallow area . The villa is very well located for shops, beaches, restaurants and bars. We felt safe and secure throughout. It is also really quiet and peaceful despite being quite near to main road / shopping and restaurant strips. If I could I would give Sukma 10 stars.

This place is an absolute gem of a homestay. I’ve stayed in a few over the past few months in Ubud but this one immediately became my favourite. It’s so peaceful in the courtyard - all you can hear is bird song & a little water fountain in the garden despite Ubud central being down the road. My room was huge, clean, had loads of amenities like safe, kettle, tea/coffee, & hairdryer. Like others have said, I really enjoyed the banana pancakes for breakfast on my patio! Agung himself is extremely responsive, friendly, & proactive - there was one evening when the WiFi briefly went down due to an issue with the solar panels, but it was only 5 minutes from me messaging him about it to a member of staff running out into fix it & the WiFi service resuming, so they are always on hand to resolve any issue right away. All the staff & family members in the compound in fact are so lovely & welcoming. I loved it here so much I immediately booked to come back a few days later! Very much recommended!

I such such a lovely stay here. As a female solo traveler, I felt right at home and the space had everything I needed. Not only did I enjoy my stay in the space but I found extreme comfort in the family who owns this property. The location is amazing in my opinion. I walked everywhere.
