The place was exactly as described – super nice! The location is ideal, especially if you are looking for a quiet and stress-free vacation. Even trips by car were relaxed, as there was hardly any traffic. Directly behind the property is a huge forest that invites you to explore. Pure nature! The property is very large and offers many possibilities: You can barbecue outside, sunbathe or play. There are also numerous apple and plum trees that you can snack on around the clock. A really nice place to stay that definitely belongs to our top 5. We'd love to come back!

Erik and Monika not only welcomed us very warmly, they were also helpful at all times and welcomed us warmly into their home. The quiet location and the great house impressed us. We thought the pictures were nice, but on site it was a lot nicer. The nature, the sauna and the fireplaces invite you to relax. The kitchen was very well equipped and the bed was totally comfortable. We were also able to bring our little dog, which was absolutely an advantage. Communication was very good, in English but also in German. The highlight for us was the clear night sky, as well as being lucky enough to see the Northern Lights twice and free-range moose (the latter nearby - 5 km). Absolute recommendation for “city kids” who need a break or smaller families. (Can accommodate 4 persons) Thanks for the nice time, we'll be happy to come back!

We had a wonderful weekend in the little house, it was exactly what we needed - a calm and cozy place to get away from the city! We felt right at home and even got some eggs from Peggy's chicken and some treats for our dog - that was so lovely! The small terrace is perfect for having breakfast, and the house has everything you need. We had a wonderful time, thanks so much!

A great stay at this atypical and super cute cabin! Really well appointed and very cocooning. What it takes for two, well equipped. Flexible check-in is convenient, the welcome is friendly with a helpful handy card.

Clean house. Beautiful peaceful location and a great host. Lake nearby. Had a great stay, host allowed me to use his row boat in lake to go fishing.

Incredibly good treatment and help when required, no matter what! The cottage has everything needed for a cozy stay as well as on a full sized oven. Would really recommend the accommodation for a mountain feel without having to go too far north. Wood-burning sauna as a big plus.

It was a pleasure to stay at Mattias place with my family. Kids enjoyed fishing and boat ride. We loved the sauna and how peaceful with a great view is the place. Mattias is a friendly and helpful host. Highly recommend.
