My stay at Ludwig-Thoma-Straße was wonderful. The host was very friendly, and the apartment, with its large dining table, was great for a short stay and some work. The neighborhood had convenient parking in the shared university area. Regensburg itself is rich in culture, with its UNESCO-listed Old Town and charming Danube views—a perfect blend of history and modernity.

Karl is a friendly and kind man and his Gasthof is wonderful! We loved the balcony and the peaceful backyard view. Laaber is a lovely old German village and we hope to visit again. It’s a great launch point to visit many cities like Regensburg/Nuremburg/Munich. Also they have a pastry shop and restaurant below the residence but it is only open on weekends for now. Locals told me great things about it and I hope to stay again when it is open so I can try the Konditorei!! Thanks for everything Karl!!

It was beautiful and very relaxing❤️. Even in the cold season, it is beautiful in the area and in the apartment. In summer, the garden area can also be used well. The apartment is very well equipped and clean. Perfect to unwind. I would definitely recommend it at any time! The surroundings have a lot to offer, from a wildlife park to several lakes, with leisure activities. It's very worthwhile☺️. We will definitely come back again.

The room is great - so as the host is is great- only problem I see is driving from Rozvadov at night and deer crossing at night and fog is kind of unwanted

The apartment was neat and tidy in an older house that has a lot of character. The kitchen was well equipped which was great as we spent Christmas here. There are supermarkets a short drive around the corner so this is a great apartment if you enjoy staying in and cooking. The old city is within walking distance and very charming. Also the apartment is very convenient to the autobahn so is an ideal base for day trips in the region.

Very nice, bright, large apartment with very good facilities, very well heated - we felt very comfortable. Christian was always available and responded immediately if we had a question.

If you want a little break from stressful everyday life, this is the place to be. Mr. Ulm is very friendly and helpful and you can tell that he and his wife have given a lot of thought to make your stay as pleasant and relaxing as possible. Here is especially the "mini supermarket" where you can find everything you need for a short break (e.g. hot rolls, noodles, coffee, etc.). Even if you don't feel like cooking yourself, there are catering dishes from a local catering company that can be easily prepared in the oven and taste great, without any artificial ingredients. In addition to the living area, there is the separate spa area. Here, too, there is a lot of love for detail such as homemade scrubs and sauna infusions, so you can spend some relaxing hours here. All in all, we enjoyed it very much and we will definitely be back.

Liz was a super friendly and welcoming host. She gave us lots of recommendations and advice about the town, getting about, events, and settling into the house itself. Jacuzzi was a great addition and was so lovely in the cold month of December. Would definitely recommend to any traveller.
