Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Kalahari Desert

Beautifully home with unexpectedly spacious rooms and the most amazing living area and kitchen. Modern furniture and finishes and very comfortable beds, couches etc. The indoor fireplace and fire pit outside was exactly what we needed when the weather got a bit cold. 3 Minute walk from a relativly secluded beach. I will definately stay here again and recommend to friends. Liesl was super helpful and very responsive and kept us updated with the latest loadshedding info.

We had a very pleasant stay at Xandra’s. The space had everything we needed. We arrived kind of late and Xandra even made sure we had some basics in the fridge so we could make ourselves breakfast. She was helpful and responsive and we had enough privacy. We hope to stay here again next time.

Corna was extremely hospitable and responsive. It was a delight for us to stay by the ocean and hear the ocean, which is one of the best things in the world for me. The children enjoyed playing in the sea, and I enjoyed being able to wake early and sit by the water, while my sister enjoyed sitting by the seaside and watching the sun set. We regret not staying longer. The housekeeper was also very pleasant and wellmannered.

A wonderful spot if you are looking for a remote & peaceful but still very comfortable stay. We try and find out of the way spots that showcases the best of the beautiful SA countryside and Lindys place is certainly one of those. The home is very secluded and private with excellent finishings too. If you are an astronomy or star-gazing enthusiast then this is a highly recommended location as the nigh sky is unbelievably awesome here. Literally horizon to horizon...

Great location and place. If you have a large group this spot has plenty of space without feeling crowded. Highly recommend.

This apartment is really beautiful, neat, clean and spacious. Has very beautiful views of the ocean and we had a lovely stay. The host is easily reachable and kind. We will definitely be coming back and 100% recommend it :)

I am in love with the place, I've found a real gem of a place! It's those thoughtful touches – the tasteful decor, the cleanliness, and having everything you need right at your fingertips – that truly elevate a stay. A proper comfy bed with good linen and plenty of space definitely made a difference. Enjoyed my stay thoroughly!

I stayed at Monica's for two nights at the beginning of my self drive holiday in Namibia. It was a great choice, private, clean, and very quiet. great outlook to the hills of the suburb. Monica recommended the Village Garden for breakfast....perfect. I would highly recommend this for anyone staying Windhoek for a few days.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Bennie's place is located close to the beach and Platz am Meer Shopping Center. the appartment has everything needed for a comfortable stay and offers great value for money for larger families. Will definitely be back. Thank you for a great stay.

This is place is even better than the listing shows. It’s very comfortable and feels like a home away from home. Beds were comfortable and neighborhood felt safe. They really put extra care into stocking the kitchen and providing what you need. It’s right downtown so you can walk to restaurants or very close to the beach/pier. You really can’t get closer to the heart of town. We would stay here again!

Great place in a very great location of Walvis Bay… the place is huge for a large family, parking lot as covered and private, and the entertainment areas are well taken care of. The bedrooms are huge and spacious.

This house was absolutely fabulous. I recommend staying here. The location is fantastic, right on the beach, beautiful sunsets....you can hear and smell the sea. My dream location. The house itself is very well equipped and felt very homely. We were with a group of 7 and everyone had enough space to move about comfortably. If you are looking for a fantastic place to stay in Swakopmund, this is a true gem.

Kathleen is a wonderful host, warm and interesting. The house feels like home, with birds singing in the morning and the smell of flowers. Even her dogs were a delight for my kids. She has been living in Botswana for a long time and her views and advices are invaluable. Worth staying there!
