Vacation rentals in Kaizu

Absolutely lovely place to stay. Junko and Philip were amazing hosts and made us feel right at home. It was a great place to adjust to the time difference after such a long journey and the beds are some of the coziest I’ve ever seen! There are beautiful walks very close by, Philip suggested biking routes and walks which was very helpful and Junko was so lovely and helpful messaging us the easiest way to get there from Tokyo! Nara is a 10 minute train ride away so we did a couple of day trips there. The supermarket is in walking distance and has a huge variety of vegetables and food. Thank you so much for being so accommodating and lovely! :)

The home was clean a good size for our party of 6. The washing machine/dryer was convenient. It was a great location, close to bus and trains. The river around the corner is a nice place to go for a run. Only thing is that there were not a lot of places to eat close by that could accommodate our group of 6. We would stay again!

Beautiful home and well appointed with everything we needed for our stay in Kyoto. Great walkable location to train, Gion area and restaurants. The best AirBnB we have experienced!

The accommodation was very comfortable & so many thoughtful touches. Very clear instructions. Akarisou came & gave us a run through of the home with lovely welcome gifts also. There are about 15 steep steps to the second level where the bedrooms are. Quiet area. 5-10 minute walk to railway station. A number of restaurants & convenience stores in that radius too. This is a lovely traditional home in a small, quiet town, attractive to stroll around and admire. The house is spacious, comfortable, and well-stocked for a night or two with friends and/or family. It suited our group of five adults and two 12-year-olds extremely well. The fact that it has so many bedrooms is a significant advantage for groups that don't all want to share the same sleeping space, as is often the case at Japanese Airbnbs. The friendly hosts were waiting for us at check-in and gave us an extremely detailed tour and explanation of the property. There are not many services within walking distance, so we were glad we rented a car. We cooked dinner and breakfast, and found many useful condiments and spices in the kitchen. Really, the only disadvantage of this home is that it is rather expensive, but the experience of staying there is unique, making it worth the cost. Airbnb prices in general seem to be rising, so it is not dissimilar to others like it.

The place is beautiful, clean and spacious. The location is great and there is parking available right across with decent price. My family are happy to stay at this place!

We were a party of 5 people and it fit us perfectly! The place is very strategically located near Sumizome station and JR Fujinomori, which is an important point for us. The place is homey, very clean, and feels very new as well. There are not many places to eat nearby, but it is not a problem for us. We did not use the outside onsen as it was winter. Overall, very great experience indeed.

A cozy little nest in a peaceful neighborhood in the Shimogyo Ward. Train and Bus accessible, and lots of amenities nearby. This perfect little home allowed us to see Kyoto and rest quietly in the evening. Our hosts were very responsive and proactive, great amenities and perfect little home to experience Japan. If you are looking for a place in Kyoto this is it.
