It is a beautiful building, cheap, and I can confidently recommend it for large groups when sightseeing in Takayama.The location of the parking lot was a little hard to find.

We are truly grateful for her hospitality and will always remember her kindness. If you are lucky enough to stay at her place, you will not only find comfort but also the warmth of a true home away from home.

a big highlight of our trip was staying at Masa's accommodation. perfect location and short walking distance to bus terminal/station, walking distance from all key sights such as takayama old town. super clean, super comfortable and large. check-in and out was easy and Masa was extremely friendly and helpful! would definitely come back in the future

Really nice place, super nice host. We felt right at home from the moment we entered the house. We all enjoyed our stay and will sure visit again.

This place is great! Big enough to fit like 6 or so people. It was close enough to walk from the Shinkansen station. Amy was an excellent host and sent several great recommendations. The laundry was an excellent touch because I was out of clean clothes! One thing to note is I don’t think there’s a hot tub as there is in the description. Airbnb really boosts that up too since it’s the only place in the area with that amenity. There is a regular Japanese style wet room with a shower and bath tub though. Overall good stay!

This place has GOT to be one of the greatest hidden gems hidden in Japan. Amazing host, beautiful house with amazing scenery in one of the nicest towns I've ever experienced. It made us want to move there!

Absolutely beautiful log cabin for a getaway experience away from the hustle and bustle. Stayed for 3 nights and would stay for 30 more. Cannot recommend this place enough.

I was attracted by the cypress bath and stayed there, and everything was clean and very good. The host responded quickly and I was very satisfied.
