Neil & Mike's place is a truly special find! it's in a lovely location, private & peaceful with a gorgeous garden & the cottage itself is exactly as described. However, in real life you get to see the lovely art, the beautifully kept garden & experience how comfortable & homely it is. Both Neil & Mike were great with communication, always responding quickly with clear helpful information & it was good to know that they were on hand if needed but very respectful of your privacy. The welcome basket of treats together with milk, tea & coffee was indeed very welcome after our long journey! The location is perfect for exploring Dorset & close to Bridport where we went for dinner one night to experience a jazz night in one of the various pubs. I'd highly recommend the cottage to anyone & look forward to another stay so we can really enjoy the garden & the local walks. A fab time in a fab location! Thanks Neil & Mike

Amazing place - everything you needed. Well out in the country but close enough to big towns. So quiet, warm and homely. A lovely weekend spent with family.

A great stay in a lovely home. A perfect getaway for a very wet and windy weekend. Sat in front of the log burner and enjoyed being off grid. Jo was very responsive and available to us if we needed. Thank you.

Our first proper visit to Dartmoor was a great experience, largely thanks to the comforts of Francesca’s beautiful barn. It is “in the middle of nowhere” yet only just down the road really from a pub and shop. The location offers a perfect place to explore the local area. The kitchen and living areas are spacious and the bedrooms were comfortable. It is well laid out as part of three houses together and offers considerable privacy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Trevor’s and Jo’s place is in the middle of a tiny village just 5 minutes drive from Sherborne, sat nav couldn’t find the exact location with the postcode only but if you look at instructions they will point you right there. The room is cozy, shower is great, there is no kitchen but there are quite a few items to prepare a meal. They were really helpful when I pointed out a couple of minor issues - iron missing and radiator not working - which they sorted right away. Absolutely recommended.

Great location with a peaceful spot but also easy access to places in the area. Very dog friendly with a secure back garden which was appreciated as our dog was interested in the local wildlife. A very comfortable stay with eveything we needed. Would love to come back.

Third stay in this very special house- another Christmas weekend to celebrate and enjoy as a family. We find it luxurious and comfortable to unwind in with the gorgeous kitchen, spacious bedrooms and wonderful hot tub overlooking the Devon countryside. This is a fantastic property for adults and children alike, again we have played pool, watched oodles of movies and slept like royalty! We love coming here and soaking up the relaxing atmosphere. Big thanks again to our hosts who are always responsive and kind. Can’t wait for the next visit!!

This is an absolute gem, so thoughtfully laid out and cosy, everything needed for your stay provided. Location is private and beautiful. Hosts are extremely friendly and helpful. If you get a chance to book this gem don’t hesitate. Make sure you take advantage of the amazing hot tub!

What a fantastic gem the Potting Shed was. We enjoyed our stay from start to finish. A wonderful setting and had everthing we needed. Tamzin was on hand for any questions we had and we met her and her lovely friendly dogs. The bed was very comfy and the whole place was nice and warm. A super place to relax in and that is what we did! Thank you Tamzin.

We had a lovely stay. Dorothy & Ian were great hosts, leaving complimentary, eggs & milk etc for our arrival . The place was spotless. Really enjoyed the setting. Just what we needed !

Absolutely stunning location. The hut was perfect, clean and tidy with everything you could need. The surroundings were lovely, the area quiet and only a short distance to Swanage Jefferson and Kevin were helpful and responsive.

My wife and I wanted a couple of days away with our dog, and Lucy’s little gem was perfect The hosts were super friendly, but out the way enough and the location and house were ideal for us during our stay

Big family Christmas get together and I couldn’t have wished for a better place to spend it! Tracy met us at Hollycroft and gave us a tour - it’s bigger and even more beautiful than the photos. Everything was spotless, warm and welcoming. We filled the huge fridge with our food stash but luckily there is a spare one in the utility which was perfect. So much space to run riot (kids!), relax, have time out or just all be together in the huge living room with the log fire and the beautiful country kitchen. Bedrooms are gorgeous and comfy. Showers are hot and powerful. Super soft towels, pristine bedding and even logs for the fire all included. Loads to do - dress up box, games, pool and ping pong tables, DVD’s… Outside there is loads of space to walk and explore, large ponds, rowing boat and ducks! We had so much fun and cooked lovely food (kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need). The kids absolutely loved it. Supermarket close by. Perfect in every way! Thank you Tracy

We booked the Wimborne Airbnb for a special birthday celebration with 10 guests. It is a lovely house with large kitchen dining area. We booked a private chef and had an amazing meal. The chef made the most of the very modern island kitchen and we were able to enjoy the experience sitting around the very large dining table. We made the most of the pol table, table tennis and hot tub. There are lovely walks and pubs all within a short drive from the house. It was the perfect party house.

We had an excellent stay at Pippas place! The property was spacious, clean and had all the amenities you need! It's in an excellent rural location just a short walk to chew valley lake. Pippa was a wonderful host. Would stay again.

Beautiful location, everything was as described. Peaceful setting, very cosy for us given the weather wasn’t amazing at times. The Barn was a fun little extra with the table tennis and pool table. Would recommend. Agree with previous comments about hot water pressure but other than that it was a very very enjoyable break for New Year.

We absolutely loved our stay here! Although we experienced some pretty crazy weather, we still had a lovely time exploring the area. Michael had left us a print out with really clear instructions including great recommendations for food. The Airbnb is so cosy, we lit a fire every night and enjoyed being in nature. Highly recommend

Lovely place to stay with a private garden for morning coffee and stargazing (no light pollution!). Really handy to have two bathrooms (one on the ground floor and one upstairs). Kitchen is well equipped and the bathrooms had lovely toiletries. Beds were comfy and there was great lighting (some Airbnbs have minimal or garishly cold lighting) in each room to be able to dim or have bright light. Location was perfect for us as we wanted to visit both the seaside and Dartmoor National Park.
