Awwad was an extremely welcoming host and was very flexible when our arrival time changed. He was also very helpful and has a large collection of climbing information he has collected. The best part for us though, was the delicious traditional dinner and breakfast prepared by his wife. Would definitely recommend Awwad if you are staying in Wadi arum village.

Great apartment and stay. The area is extremely safe to walk around and it has supermarkets and restaurants nearby. You can take an uber around the city pretty easily. Apartment was large, clean, and has what you need. Would recommend to others.

Awesme environment and ambiance! This is one place i recommend people stay to save money and have a great time meeting other fellow travelers. The entire team is doing a great fantastic job in ensuring comfy stay for every guest. Kudos!

Salem is an amazing host who provided us such incredible and authentic bedouin experience. The desert safari was also full of great views and Salem took us in great spots to see and to explore. If I return to Wadi Rum I will return to his place and also will recommend it to my friends. Thanks Salem for taking care of my family Shukran

Mustafa has been absolutely lovely and gave us great recommendations for food. He has been very flexible and accomodating as well. The location is great and there was a lovely balcony and cat. Good arrangement if you want to meet other travellers and be social. Thanks Mustafa!

so friendly & hospitable hosts

This is a good launch pad for more adventurous travelers to explore Petra and learn more about Bedouin culture. Abdallah is a very responsive host and a Petra guide himself, so he had many helpful suggestions for our group. This is perhaps best described as a family stay, as you will have your own room on the upper floor but frequently meet members of his family who live on the ground floor beneath the unit, who were all very kind and welcoming. At the time of our stay, it was possible to arrange breakfast or dinner prepared by Abdallah's mother for an additional fee, but note there is no kitchen on the upper floor for making/storing your own meals. Also note that the neighborhood is home to many animals, so I recommend that lighter sleepers bring earplugs, etc.
