Very comfortable, had all we needed, we would rent again!

Have stayed twice and is our go-to place in New Bern. Beautiful view, spacious and convenient, clean with great amenities, and excellent communication. Thank you, David, for another wonderful week!

Quiet neighborhood and congenial neighbors. Felt safe taking long walks as well as coming and going late at night. Kitchen and bathrooms were terrific. Elizabeth responded quickly to every question.

Not sure where to begin.. we had an amazing time!!! Matthew is the absolute BEST host! The house is so clean and the sounds of the river were so relaxing. He took us out on the boat and even caught a 16lb catfish on the limb line. It was the perfect getaway for my husband and I on his birthday. We would go every weekend if we could. Oh and Carolina, the outside cat, is the sweetest! You can’t help but love her. We didn’t want to leave! We can’t wait to go back.

Our 2 week stay at Ed and Patty’s guest house was more than we expected. Very comfortable and cozy. Plenty of lighting. Well stocked kitchen. Guesthouse had every need. Spotless living space. Comfortable queen bed. Lovely, quiet neighborhood. Easy walk to downtown area. Arrived at the beginning of spring and enjoyed watching new life budding from the trees, birds, and playful squirrels in their well kept yard. Did not miss a TV. Internet excellent. Looking forward to staying there again in future. Thank you

We frequently travel to the area as our son is there (military base & college) & we’re always looking for a great place that feels like home while we’re away. It’s not often we can achieve this however at Daniel’s place we felt right at home! The home is more beautiful than the pictures, extremely comfortable, welcoming & clean! You walk in to great aromas, soft music & a relaxing atmosphere. Daniel was very kind, responsive & we truly enjoyed our stay! We will absolutely book his place again! My mom and I had a wonderful week at the cottage, it was just as described and we were very comfortable there. Thanks to Joyce and her son Ron for trouble shooting the TVs. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat. The pair of Sandhill Cranes that visited a couple of times was a nice touch too.

This was a perfect place to stay with our dog. The house is located on a beautiful property with all the amenities we needed.
