Vacation rentals with a pool in Jo Daviess County

Alina’s home was a clean beautiful spacious property. Lots of room for our party of 5. We loved both the enclosed and open air decks and we made great use of the fire pit at the end of our evenings. And let me tell you if you are a stargazer you are in for a treat. Just beautiful!

Hostess communicated well. Listing was accurate with description, clean, well appointed, easy to find. Felt at home- very comfortable. Secluded, yet by property amenities and not a far drive into town. Would highly recommend and would return to stay again.

The house was beautiful and Galena Territory was a gorgeous place to land for Christmas. Galena, the town, is just a few miles away and it is a destination town with lots of shops and restaurants. The house is huge so everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom. Drawers in the kitchen were clearly marked so it was easy to find items we needed at mealtime. There is large TV in the main living area so we were able to watch movies and sports. The house is at the end of the road so we were able to take walks without worrying about traffic. It was a large family gathering and the house was perfect for us.

It was exactly what we were looking for. Each party had their own room and en suite, the kitchen had all the amenities we needed, great open-concept living area. It was a far better value than booking a hotel.

The location was perfect, and not far from downtown Galena. Loved how private and peaceful the area was. The hot tub was a super nice amenity! Overall, our experience was nothing short of amazing. Can’t thank Doreen and their property highly enough!

The owner was very responsive to a minor problem during our stay and easy to communicate with. There are three floors with a bedroom and bathroom on each. We enjoyed the screened in porch giving us total privacy in the back of the house. It was a good choice for multiple families wanting their own space.

We absolutely loved staying here! The view is amazing and it’s very quiet. Cynthia was very responsive and checked in on us during our stay! The house was absolutely beautiful and had so many things to do. We will definitely be back! :)

We just returned from a 3-night stay at this incredible Airbnb, and I can't recommend it enough! Our group of four had an absolute blast – it truly exceeded all our expectations. First and foremost, the cleanliness was top-notch. You could tell the hosts take pride in maintaining a space that makes guests feel welcome and comfortable from the moment they step inside. The amenities were thoughtfully curated – we didn't want for a single thing during our stay. From the kitchen to the bedrooms to the living areas, every detail was considered to create a home-away-from-home atmosphere. But what really made our stay special was the peaceful surroundings. The quiet, relaxing environment was the perfect antidote to our busy lives. We left feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. If you're looking for a stress-free, comfortable getaway... look no further. We can't wait to come back and create more amazing memories.

Our family had a fantastic job at Dan's place. The location is great - close enough to the Eagle Ridge Inn and Owners Club, but very private location with a beautiful view of the lake. The unit had everything we need and was much larger than the pictures made it seem. Galena had great shopping and restaurants. Galena Territory Owners Club indoor pool was perfect for the kids. I'd recommend staying here anytime we make it back to Galena Territory!

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights. It's a 10 min drive from downtown Galena in a quiet wooded area with paved trails that you can take to the nearby amenities. The place was clean, quiet, and the bathtub was amazing! The gym and indoor/outdoor pool are very nice but about 1.5 miles from the condo which wasn't stated anywhere (or at least not anywhere we saw) and was a little disappointing but overall wasn't a huge deal. The restaurant is a short walk through the trails or you can drive to it. It's right next door. Also, the initial message you get after booking with the rules and asking to email them out of the app was a little daunting and not normal for Airbnb bookings. It just had a less "homey" experience that you expect from Airbnb. It made me slightly nervous but after everything I would certainly stay here again.

galena is always a great spot! this unit was perfect for a couple. bathtub super relaxing and bed was seriously one of the most comfortable I've ever slept on!

Jan’s condo is a perfect location for galena. It’s not far from downtown or Eagle Ridge. It’s like the comfort of home without being home.
