The place is as described, Fabien is a responsive and pleasant host. However small - in terms of cleanliness, a few cobwebs and all the dishes were dirty... Otherwise it was impeccable and it remains a very good value for money, I recommend it!

Louise and Mickael hosted us very well, with a bottle of white wine and cold beers! Very much appreciated! We had a pleasant week's vacation at Moulin Chaillou. We were able to enjoy the pool, which the children loved (4 years and 1 year). All shops are nearby, the beach is 45 minutes away, as well as the aquarium, etc. If needed, don't hesitate, Louise and Mickael are there to meet your needs.

We had a great weekend with friends at Roz's. The house is very beautiful, clean, spacious. Everything is provided (bed linen, towels, etc.). Small touches were waiting for us, it's a plus that we really appreciated. The many activities available on site occupied us well, we did not leave the weekend house: pool, jacuzzi, billiards, ping pong, darts, etc. Small dedication to Bob who welcomed us very warmly!

Nadine and Daniel are truly outstanding hosts! They went above and beyond to prepare everything for us, ensuring we had a seamless and enjoyable stay. We absolutely loved chatting with them and indulging in the delightful meals at Nadine's table. It was a warm and memorable experience that made our time in France incredibly special! If I could give more than five stars, I would, because five stars are simply not enough to convey how exceptional they truly are.

We had a pleasant night in the trailer, the setting is peaceful and the host was very welcoming. Breakfast is very full. We do not regret our choice and would highly recommend it!

Very nice week with family at Manoir Souhait. The cottage is exactly as shown in the photos and described. Very nice pool and hot tub. Numerous deckchairs and impeccable. Everything is neat, you feel very comfortable. The kids enjoyed the foosball and ping pong. The village is very quiet and pretty. Shops are 10 minutes by car. The area is beautiful in the July sun. Geocaching trail (Terra Aventura) with family in Cognac, Aulnay, La Touche de Périgny, St Jean d'Angely - discovering old stones, beautiful Romanesque churches and rivers. Visit to wineries and vineyards (we particularly recommend the Dhiersat house in Rouillac). We recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful vacation, family rest. Highly recommended!

This place and its host are something very special. You feel so welcome and Didier always sweetened our time with tips and nice conversations. The accommodation invites you to discover, is very artfully and comfortably furnished. It exudes a very specific charm, really dreamy. Surely there will be more to discover the next time you visit. The place is really inspiring and the tranquility of the house coupled with the peaceful surroundings make you forget the stress of everyday life.

We had a pleasant stay. The home is located in a beautiful wooded and peaceful park. Caroline welcomed us very warmly, always caring, very friendly and always listening to our needs. We recommend stays with Caroline.

Nice house in a peaceful space. For a stay for families or groups of friends, it is the perfect place, surrounded by fields of sunflowers and corn. I can only recommend this lovely place! Additional information: be careful to have his obedient dog because the garden is open:-)

Stayed again for one night at Catherine's gite on our return journey this time back to the uk. Catherine had thoughtfully pit the heating on as now the nights are getting that bit chillier. This stay was just as good as our one night stay in October, this time we chose to eat out and Catherine kindly recommended a local restaurant in Jonzac ( an easy 10 minute drive), Le Coq D'or and the food was fab, so many thanks Catherine and hope to see you again.

Very nice stay, and impeccable value for money. Jacques and Marie Thérèse were kind enough to also accept our 2 dogs 🐶 which was of great service to us! I recommend this place!

ideal place of healing, fire pit available, gazebo with large table to read the comics, books or games available. only small bemol: having to enter the hosts' house for the bathroom. we would have appreciated a shower near the bar or the dishwashing place.

No unpleasant surprises. Well located, quiet and close to the city and road junctions. Correct bus service. Nice little cottage, clean and well-stocked, welcoming and discreet owners. Shops nearby. Everything is "tip top"

We had a great night, in a relaxing and peaceful environment with birdsong and an exceptional view of the Touvre (swans, ducks….) The accommodation is tastefully furnished, it is clean. Thanks to the hosts for hosting.

We stayed at Elodie’s house for four months and it was a great stay! The home is beautiful and clean. Location is great for peace and quiet while being close to Cognac. Last but not least, the hosts Elodie and Greg are welcoming and helpful with anything you might need. Will definitely stay again!

We loved staying here. The property is a ten minute drive from Saintes and all that is has to offer. We had a day at La Rochelle, a day at the beach in Royan and a lazy day or two in the beautiful garden. We would really love to come and stay here again!

The accommodation is very tastefully and fully furnished with good furniture, lots of books, art on the wall etc. Outside is a beautiful terrace with barbecue. A little further away is the lovely natural pool with seating. Adrian's estate (and Vicky) also consists of his own home, some beautiful old stables and other houses, a meadow with donkeys, an artist's studio and a vegetable garden. The whole is very charming, peaceful and in a green natural setting. Adrian himself (Vicky was in England) is very nice and the welcome was very warm with a chest of vegetables, fruits, homemade jam, etc. We had a wonderful week at Adrian's place as a family (6 adults and a baby) and we can highly recommend this accommodation.

We had a wonderful week at David and Nicky’s studio. The setting is absolutely beautiful and very peaceful. We will miss the wonderful views. There is plenty to do and many places to explore- all of David and Nicky’s suggestions were perfect. A wonderful studio, a great location and fantastic hosts. We’d love to return!

Lydie & Francois were amazing, such great hosts, they were very responsive and the place was amazing had more than we could ever need. The Fridge with cold water and ice dispenser was very much needed and air conditioning was a godsend. The Pool was fantastic and bigger than we thought it would be from the photos, she even had a robotic pool cleaning. There is a decent shop within walking distance. If you want to explore or relax this place is a must. We will return. We sadly missed the evening market in Saintes but found an amazing evening market in Royan and another great day market in Saint Georges de Didonne was not to be missed. Saint Palais Sur Mer beach is amazing, as is Saint Georges. We also visited Planet Exotica which was well worth it. Be aware though you need to book if you're going to the Aquarium at La Rochelle.
