Theodora’s apartment is hidden gem in Agios Nikolaos. During our stay we realized, there is no better location for families with small kids. It’s right next to beach bar with great beach, in our opinion best within the city and there is even kids playground right next to it. You have 6-7 great local restaurants within 5mins walk + 2 grocery shops. Location is very quiet. Apartment is very well equipped with all you need for shorter or even longer stay (we stayed 1month). Theodora was very friendly, responsive and helpful with anything we needed. We can only recommend her and her apartment to anyone who wants to enjoy perfect vacation. Efcharisto Theodora 👍🏻

Pasiphae House was something out of a dream! It was beautifully designed in the traditional Crete Village homes style. The location is isolate in the mountains, but amongst a great community of people. We were greeted by Yianna and Koula that gave us the walk through of the house, and we're always in constant communication. Ioanna supplied us with a long list of things to do and try in the area which we took full advantage of. Overall it was a beautiful stay and would highly recommend.

We had a great stay Everything was as described They were great hosts the villa was modern, clean and everything was there we needed. A toaster and microwave could be added to the kitchen, but tk he honest what made our stay was ‘ rocky’ We miss him We loved him and the host was so wonderful like ‘ Rocky’ Thank you for having us stay and highly recommended and appreciate all you did for us X X

Having stayed in the area before, a quiet location was the most important aspect for me along with easy access to the beaches and a short walk into Hersonnisos. I couldn't have wished for a better location. The apartment was quiet with little traffic noise, compact and clean. The nearest beach was just a few minutes walk away with cafes and restaurants next to the beach. Hersonnisos itself was about 15 mins easy walk. The garden was a perfect spot for some sunbathing on those lazy days when you didn't want to leave comforts of home. It was an ideal suntrap. I didn't need anything from George on my 10 days, staying at Blue Coast Gardens -Juniper. but he was within easy reach with a whole host of helpful numbers and contacts made available, should have needed to contact him. It was great having a large comfortable double bed with good quality bedding and Aircon if it got too hot at night. All the equipment provided was in great working order, the apartment spotlessly clean. Loved it!!

I asked my mother recently what her favorite part of our entire Greece trip was and she answered, “The Landscape View House near Knossos Palace.” We had a little trouble navigating our rental car and our host offered to drive to the airport and guide us in. They also had a homemade pasta waiting for us on arrival. The home was serene and surrounded by beautiful gardens. Hand painted murals and artwork adorned the walls. It was truly enchanting, from atmosphere to hospitality.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Manoli’s! The house was stunning, nestled in a beautiful village that made our two-night stay even more special. The property was fully equipped with everything we needed, making it feel like a home away from home. The host was excellent, maintaining great communication. We also loved the nearby restaurant, which was superb and added to the overall experience. We truly had a great time and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

We had an amazing stay in Agios Ioannis. The house is beautiful, clean, calm, with beautiful views and a great garden. Perfect location to escape tourism and enjoy the mountains. We highly recommend and hope to visit again!

We had a lovely stay at Mapia's home, everything was what we were expecting with the added bonus of meeting Mapia's parents and other members of extended family. They were all available if we had any problems (we didn't) but not intruding at all. George another family member, introduced himself and we could go to him if we had any questions. We had an exceptional stay for three in this home in Crete. The apartment is nice, very comfortable, and impeccably tidy. Everything was perfectly clean, which made us feel immediately comfortable. The proximity to the pool added extra comfort, ideal for relaxing after a day of exploring. Special mention to Maria, the host, who was incredibly friendly, proactive and always available to meet our every need. Thanks to her, our stay went as smoothly as possible. I would highly recommend this place for a pleasant and worry-free stay in Crete!

The pictures don’t do this view justice. It’s breathtaking! The home is gorgeous and the outdoor space is wonderful. It was too cold for us to swim but we still enjoyed time at the beach. Most of the immediate area was already shut down for the season during our stay but there is a lovely area about a mile walk away. We spent a lot of time there enjoying the coffee shops and restaurants. The house and rooms were fantastic and there was more than enough space for everyone to relax. The host was amazing and went above and beyond to help us when we left some glasses at a restaurant. Thank you so much for a great stay!!

If you're looking for peace and relaxation, this is the place to be. Vacation away from tourism in the Cretan mountains. We especially enjoyed the outdoor kitchen and pool very much. In September, however, it is much cooler on the mountain than on the coast. However, since a car is absolutely necessary anyway, we were able to avoid the beaches on windy or cloudy days. Konstantinos gave us great tips on request and we were offered 2x a free cleaning. Clear recommendation!

What an apartment! What a place! Everything was beautiful! The flowers, the mountains, the sea, the pool, the terrace, the balconies! We stayed there for one month and what happiness! We made the most of the outdoors! to visit the north east of the island as well as the south east! A bottle of wine and a bottle of water were waiting for us in the fridge! Martin is always very responsive! And what to say about Rosie and her kindness and talked to us regularly and who did the nice cleaning every third day! That's wonderful! Clean sheets and towels! And always a beautiful little bouquet of colorful flowers on the table! We recommend this amazing place! What a memorable memory!

Nice quiet place in the hills. Very clean nice house and pool. But everyone needs a car on this location.

Private and quiet place to relax with a beautiful pool and garden (and lovely cats) in walking distance to Agios Nikolaos restaurants and beaches. Mel & Michael were wonderful hosts and I would come back anytime!

Had a fantastic stay at the apartment, great host and very responsive. Apartment was as described and more, the pictures do not do it justice. Really lovely touches to make you feel at home straight away, including groceries and local produce waiting for us on arrival. Loved the stay and would come back!

We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay at Alexandros's villa. Alexandros met us at Heraklion airport on arrival and showed us the way to the villa. The villa had everything we needed for our 10 day stay, set in a very quiet, relaxing location overlooking olive groves and vineyards. The local tavernas offer an amazing selection of good quality food and they are mostly run by families. You can really enjoy the famous Cretan hospitality. Alexandros was always on hand to assist with anything we needed including restaurant recommendations and questions about the local area. We are already planning our stay next year! Thank you for everything Alexandros!

We absolutely loved this villa, Mania very kindly greeted us at Midnight as we had a late flight, and yes the reviews are right, she arrived with the most amazing moussaka and even made a vegetarian one. Mania was always available for any advice/recommendations and managed the tricky combination of being present but not intrusive. There was also a really thoughtful welcome gift of homemade food waiting for us. The kitchen was really well equipped, and super clean, we ate in a lot and enjoyed dinners on the covered terrace. We loved the pool, the kids especially, we spent a lot of time in the pool as it was very hot. The beds were comfy, the rooms all have their own bathroom, and terraces, there was lots of thoughtful touches throughout. The garden is beautiful and I don't think we managed to sit in all the different seating areas in the week. The winner for me was the decor, it was so beautiful, it was like staying in house in a Home Decor magazine. We will definitely come back.

Beautiful house with all the facilities, better than the photos. The bedroom on the 1st floor is very large and comfortable with a separate bathroom and a large terrace to enjoy the view and tranquility. Pleasant and relaxing stay, Mrs. Maria had left supplies for breakfast, fruits and wine very kind and welcome. Everything was great.

After 12 days of stay, we can recommend this atmospheric, Greek, with all the amenities of a home. Two terraces allowed you to enjoy the view of the sea every day. The nearby beach requires a short effort to walk (a rocky descent from the mountain), but it guarantees peace and crystal water. In the nearby towns (5-10 minutes drive) you can find many well-stocked shops and, more importantly, great taverns with excellent food. In a word, we recommend "Katarina" with home. The owner took care of every detail - a nice welcome surprise and very quick contact. In addition, thank you again for letting us check in faster because we arrived at night. Katrina,s home, is the equivalent of traditional Greek hospitality. 🙂👍

Such a beautiful place, we felt we were in paradise. We took our own food so didn’t try the taverna but enjoyed dinner with a beautiful view every night and two nights we lay back a star gazed for hours on the deck chairs. The “almost private “ beach was delightful and we never had anyone there with us, so for us very private …

The accommodation was super nice, lots of cozy places to stay. There are several accommodations in the area... small and fine like ours and each one of them somehow. 1x, neighbors were a little louder until 4 am...not bad, yet getting lively again and again. However, I would definitely come again. Nice war.

Charming place! Aristeidis and his wife Marina are very polite, attentive and hospitality people! During all our rest they were ready to answer any our questions and give advice and help! The villa is very beautiful and comfortable! It is well equipped with different devices! From the second there is charming view all around! The private swimming pool was very clean and gave us possibility to enjoy private rest! The size of the pool is enough even for the big company! Sakalani is very cosy village with beautiful delicious taverns! There are many different olive and grape farms near the village! The villa is situated only 10 minutes from Heraclion! Definitely I and my family are very thankful to Aristeidis for our wonderful rest and time that we spent on his Vila! I strongly recommend this place for the vacations on Crete!
