Waterfront vacation rentals in Isle La Motte

We had a very comfortable stay. The setting on the river was quite peaceful, and the home was comfortable. It was a quick drive to Norwich University to watch hockey and visit our daughter, also a quick drive into Montpelier. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking meals in, and we enjoyed setting the puzzle. We will definitely stay again when we come back for another visit.

This was the perfect snowy getaway we were looking for! The space was even larger then expected, clean, comfortable and very cozy. The views right on the lake were idyllic and we would definitely return here in the summer to take advantage of the water more! The hosts were welcoming and responsive while the space still felt private. Overall this was a peaceful weekend and we would recommend this spot for others to enjoy as well.

Our stay was perfect in every way. From the thoughtful treats left for our kids, to the heated bathroom floor, and in- unit laundry, everything was more than we expected. Being under the bookstore was lovely and we visited frequently. Sarah and Marc were incredibly accommodating and responsive to all of our needs. We will definitely be back! :)

The location is perfect with easy access to the Ausable river with brown trout fishing within 100 yards. Meg was friendly and responsive and made sure everything was smooth. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful Adirondack getaway!

June’s place is nice and cozy, great amenities including washer/dryer, beautiful views of Lake Champlain and Adirondack mountains. June was a responsive host and helped us get in to her place last minute with ease.

Loved this space, it was really cute and Errin’s responsiveness was very quick when I had questions. Being in walking distance was nice, we were able to check out a diner she had recommended to us that was a 10 minute walk that was very good. With a restaurant just across the street we tried for dinner. It was a perfect birthday weekend for me to enjoy with my boyfriend and the ease of our temporary home made it all come together

Another wonderful stay at this lovely, very private home. After driving most of the day, we appreciated how close it is to town and restaurants. The walk down to the river should not be missed.

It was just what we needed to get away, chill and relax. Very cozy and comfortable. Beautiful scenery with the lake and the mountains in the distance. No complaints.

On our last day we saw a spectacular sunset which was indicative of our whole stay. The star was of course the wonderful setting on the lake. It was enhanced by how tastefully the house was renovated, decorated and fully supplied with everything we needed. It truely exceeded our expectations and made for a memorable experience in the beautiful state of Vermont.

Our second stay at Otter Way did not disappoint. Shauna is the consummate host. We arrived a few days into the new year and were pleasantly surprised to see a Christmas tree still standing in the living room. It added to the beauty of the home and the snow falling outside. Very peaceful. As always, The home is clean and welcoming. The kitchen is well stocked. We cooked quite a few meals at the house and had all the tools and utensils we needed. The hot tub was such a welcomed treat in the evening after spending the days in the frigid temps outside enjoying winter sports. The use of the garage was much appreciated to be able to park the car out of the very cold overnight temps. To wake up every morning and enjoy a cup of coffee while gazing out of the big picture window at the beautiful view of snow covered trees and frozen river is pure and simple joy.

We had a lovely stay at Molly's house on the lake. The area is rural and beautiful; we spent days kayaking, cycling to nearby islands, and just sitting on the back patio enjoying the lake. Molly was responsive and friendly.

This is a great spot. Very comfortable and completely as advertised. The power was out when we arrived and the owner was very quick to communicate. It came back on within a half hour of us arriving. Nothing anyone can control, but they were very quick to get us this information. Highly recommend! The only negative comment is that the cleaning fee was rather steep. Double what we have paid in that area for similar properties. We understand the struggle in finding people to work, so suspect that is why.

Just the peaceful spot we were looking for in the winter season. We were snowed in but absolutely content looking out over the water from the cozy living room. Cute downtown area with book shops, cafes, restaurants and a park all 5-10 mins drive away. Complete serenity over the holidays.

This place is a gem. It is a perfect mix of Airbnb and hotel, with it being a lodge in a secluded area, and is walking distance to the Main Street in Lake Placid. It has stunning views of the lake, it is extremely comfortable and beautiful, and overall a perfect weekend for my husband and I. Highlights were the sauna, the hot tub, the amazing surrounding area and proximity to Lake Placid!

Well-equipped, conveniently located AirBnB just 10 minutes from Sugarbush. Birgit was communicative and very helpful Great place to stay for a ski trip!

Our family of five had a wonderful stay. The location is perfect. The view from the condo of the lake is beautiful. We loved being able to use the amenities at the High Peaks Resort. We walked each night into town for dinner. The living space is very comfortable and the bedrooms were also comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a fantastic stay! Easy to walk into town to shop or eat. There are great trails also within walking distance. Would stay again!

We went to Lake Placid for 3 days skiing trip and highly recommend Angela's place! Cozy, convenient, great location, also has nice view! Will definitely come back next time!

This was a great place to stay for a weekend trip to Stowe! It's conveniently located close to everything you'd need - downtown restaurants and cafes, shops, and the mountain resort, of course. Sarah provided clear instructions to find the house prior to arrival, and parking couldn't have been easier. Although the house is shared with others in different units, we felt that we had our own privacy and the only times we ran into anyone else was in the parking lot. We're looking forward to staying here again if we find ourselves on another trip to Stowe!

We really enjoyed our stay at Philips place. It was thoughtfully outfitted with basics like towels/linens/blankets, etc. We found the place to be cozy and welcoming, and we really loved Philip's cool art. We were staying while skiing Sugarbush, and there's no beating the location right at the base of the access road. Thanks again, Philip!
