Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Isla Holbox

We had such a great time at James’s place in Holbox! It looked exactly like the pictures and was in the perfect location to be able to walk to almost everything we wanted to do. He set up a private dinner for us at the house on the last night of our stay, and it was amazing! The host was super responsive, gave us multiple ways to reach him, and also set up transportation to and from Cancun. We couldn’t recommend Holbox more!

A very beautiful place; slightly off the beaten path outside the town, but located in a very peaceful area near Punta Coco and stunning beaches with very few people, which is fantastic. The accommodation is lovely, well-equipped, and comes with excellent service from the manager, who regularly cleans, tidies up, and is always ready to help with anything. The only downside is the battery charging via a diesel generator, which is quite noisy. However, we managed to find a routine that didn’t disturb us.

We loved everything about this experience. Highly recommend you choose this place if you want to enjoy paradise in luxury and comfort. This property was a a peaceful oasis in a great location. Clean. Secure. Great design. Lots of space. Comfortable beds. Pools are a treat, the views are amazing. Hosts were excellent and hospitable. Sandra made our trip easy and relaxing making sure we were comfortable and right at home. She was also available and quick to assist us and answer all the questions we had. Dani welcomed us to the island and guided us from our private boat transportation to the house which made arriving to the island easy and a beautiful VIP experience. Dani also gave us great recommendations and escorted us off the island onto our private boat transportation. We felt very cared for and welcomed which made our Holbox experience that much better. Highly recommend this property. You won’t be disappointed. It was a beautiful space with great energy. We will be back.

Absolutely perfect. The house is great, big spacious rooms with comfie beds. The property is amazing with perfect white sand stretching from the door all the way to the ocean. The location couldn't be better with cute little beach bars and restaurants in both directions and being only a few blocks from the town center. Holbox is quite lively and you can hear music and festivities through the night, but close the doors and the rooms remain peaceful and quiet. The racoons and coatis might also pay you a visit if you stay up late enough. They're totally harmless! Just don't leave any food or trash out.

Great location and great space. Jessica responded quickly to our inquiries. Being able to use the Casa Iguana facilities gives it a very important bonus. Everything was OK.

fantastic spot on a beautiful island. check in was a breeze. Toño was attentive. turned down our room every day and was polite. The rooms are cool and surrounded by trees growing in the courtyard. very short walk to lots of bars and restaurants. we had a wonderful stay and throughly recommend La Casa de Mia

The place was as described. Easy and quick to reach on foot from the ferry. Room was clean. Location was very quiet and yet the center was quick to reach. Supermarket is also close by.

It is so hard to leave a simple review on Cecilia’s listing. This place is out of description. You just want to cry when leaving holbox. If you want to enjoy the island the best imaginable way, Cecilia’s is the place to be. It has been very hard to leave as every single minute was so wonderful. Susannna was always attentive to our needs, she gave us great information super helpful, friendly, we felt super comfortable, by the time the roads are difficult as there are too many mega charcos consider wearing rain boots.

The perfect spot for relaxation. The rental is very close to the beach and the pool area is lovely. I think it was better than the photos. Really appreciated the friendly and helpful staff. There’s plenty to do in Holbox - we enjoyed horse riding, walking dogs from the local animal sanctuary and walking out to punta mosquito. So many delicious places to eat. A very relaxed vibe and as two female travellers, we felt safe at all times. Would highly recommend. Thanks for such a lovely holiday.

What a wonderful stay! Susanna welcomed us in as if it was her home, brewing coffee and baking cake in the morning, sending us recommendations to her favorite restaurants, and arranging tours with her favorite guides. The room was pristine and thoroughly cleaned each day, and the roof deck was a perfect place to spend a sunny afternoon (in and around the pool). The only thing worth knowing is that you are about a 20 minute walk from town, but you can walk almost entirely on the beach, and it is much quieter than the center. Also, the nearby beach is quieter and (I think) more beautiful than the one closer to the center. I can’t wait to come stay with Susanna again!

All right, the house is reached in less than 5 minutes on foot from the port, a stone's throw from the center and close enough to the main beach. Everything works (air conditioner, fan, TV and kettle for coffee). Another positive note is that drinking water is available. The host advised us where to eat and do activities.

Excellent stay! I recommend Shankara. Loved the place, in a good location, close to everything. Clean room, very nice with a very nice garden and pool. Matias recommended activities, restaurants to me... A great host and I'll be back with great pleasure!

Beautiful, quiet and peaceful. Nice central location where you can walk the whole island. Everything was very clean. I felt very safe the whole time. WiFi and hot water worked perfectly. Would definitely stay again.

New building and very clean and quiet apartment. Very nice furniture and complete amenities. There's nothing missing. Be careful, the accommodation is located at the tip of the island which means it is long to reach the center on foot. For the rest, everything is really great! We had a very pleasant time.
