Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Isla Holbox

We had such a great time at James’s place in Holbox! It looked exactly like the pictures and was in the perfect location to be able to walk to almost everything we wanted to do. He set up a private dinner for us at the house on the last night of our stay, and it was amazing! The host was super responsive, gave us multiple ways to reach him, and also set up transportation to and from Cancun. We couldn’t recommend Holbox more!

A very beautiful place; slightly off the beaten path outside the town, but located in a very peaceful area near Punta Coco and stunning beaches with very few people, which is fantastic. The accommodation is lovely, well-equipped, and comes with excellent service from the manager, who regularly cleans, tidies up, and is always ready to help with anything. The only downside is the battery charging via a diesel generator, which is quite noisy. However, we managed to find a routine that didn’t disturb us.

The weather was not what we wanted but our host was often checking in to see if we needed anything. Manuel, the groundskeeper was super friendly, kind and helpful. We had a great time in spite of the weather. The house is just as pictures and the island is a gem.

We loved everything about this experience. Highly recommend you choose this place if you want to enjoy paradise in luxury and comfort. This property was a a peaceful oasis in a great location. Clean. Secure. Great design. Lots of space. Comfortable beds. Pools are a treat, the views are amazing. Hosts were excellent and hospitable. Sandra made our trip easy and relaxing making sure we were comfortable and right at home. She was also available and quick to assist us and answer all the questions we had. Dani welcomed us to the island and guided us from our private boat transportation to the house which made arriving to the island easy and a beautiful VIP experience. Dani also gave us great recommendations and escorted us off the island onto our private boat transportation. We felt very cared for and welcomed which made our Holbox experience that much better. Highly recommend this property. You won’t be disappointed. It was a beautiful space with great energy. We will be back.

Absolutely perfect. The house is great, big spacious rooms with comfie beds. The property is amazing with perfect white sand stretching from the door all the way to the ocean. The location couldn't be better with cute little beach bars and restaurants in both directions and being only a few blocks from the town center. Holbox is quite lively and you can hear music and festivities through the night, but close the doors and the rooms remain peaceful and quiet. The racoons and coatis might also pay you a visit if you stay up late enough. They're totally harmless! Just don't leave any food or trash out.

The house is super comfortable, for a family with two children, spacious with good furniture and kitchen utensils. The location is excellent, a very quiet area three blocks from the center and two from the beach. Being able to use the beach club of Casa Iguana gives it an additional.plus since you can use umbrellas and beds. Jessica has been very friendly and has always been attentive. This place is definitely super recommended. I'll be back a thousand times! Thank you Jessica!!

Our space and host was great!! Beautiful and cozy with a great rooftop. Although after all of Air BNB's fees and taxes cute boutique hotels on the beach were not much more money (with breakfast included). Explore options if you want to be closer to the beach.

Host was very friendly. His recommendations helped us a lot to enjoy our trip more. Although there is no place to cook, it is very appreciated that the stay has water to drink, that has utensils and area to wash dishes.

Susannna was always attentive to our needs, she gave us great information super helpful, friendly, we felt super comfortable, by the time the roads are difficult as there are too many mega charcos consider wearing rain boots.

Extremely good ideal to get to the pretty Island of Holbox is super close to downtown and the beach you can move on foot. Juanito is extremely friendly and antento, we will be back very soon 🥰

What a wonderful stay! Susanna welcomed us in as if it was her home, brewing coffee and baking cake in the morning, sending us recommendations to her favorite restaurants, and arranging tours with her favorite guides. The room was pristine and thoroughly cleaned each day, and the roof deck was a perfect place to spend a sunny afternoon (in and around the pool). The only thing worth knowing is that you are about a 20 minute walk from town, but you can walk almost entirely on the beach, and it is much quieter than the center. Also, the nearby beach is quieter and (I think) more beautiful than the one closer to the center. I can’t wait to come stay with Susanna again!

The accommodation is practically one block from the ferry dock,so if you bring heavy suitcases or just don't want to load , you quickly get to settle in . The area is quiet so you have a good rest without noise , not like in the main streets of the island so you can't do it. The bed is spacious , very clean sheets and pillows,but above all very comfortable we sleep very well . The spacious bathroom and good water pressure. The wifi suddenly fails ,but it's a problem all over the island . I have no complaints and I highly recommend the place. Thanks for everything. 🙂🙂🙂

An excellent place to stay. Very nice and clean. The very attentive hosts. I only recommend traveling in times of rain as the Island is flooded but from there to outside everything excellent.

Matias was super communicative. The space was as described, easy to get to the beach, walkable to a ton of restaurants. He gave a list of a ton of recommendations that were top notch. I will definitely stay here again! The room was beautiful, equipped kitchen, huge bed, shampoo, conditioner, and a blow dryer were provided. I loved the little touches of the Buddha and pothos plants. The AC worked beautifully, even though the temp was mild.

We had an incredible 8 nights staying at Shankara. Matias was extremely helpful and responsive leading up to our trip as well as through the duration of our stay. He had many great recommendations for the island for us. The property was beautiful and Ceci did an outstanding job keeping everything very clean. Location was ideal for walking anywhere that we needed to. Minutes from the beach and all of the amazing restaurants around the island. We will definitely be returning to Shankara when we visit Holbox again. 11/10 would recommend. Thank you Matias.

We absolutely LOVED our stay in El Cuyo at Karla's condo! The location was perfect - truly steps to a beautiful, quiet beach, and also steps (a few more) to restaurants. The condo was maintained very well. The kitchen was nicely equipped. Plus, both bath towels and beach towels were provided, which was very helpful. And a few beach chairs, too. Very hot water - and lots of it - plus comfortable beds and powerful A/C. The best part was the caretaker Don Jose! What a lovely person. He was super attentive and always friendly. Upon our request, he even chopped down some coconuts from the trees and opened them up for us to drink on the spot! Truly, such a wonderful place. We'd definitely come back and would stay again at Karla's place! Muchas gracias!

The perfect stay, honestly. Such a beautiful space inside the room and in the swimming area. Located a few mins walk from the main square and beach, you’re in it without hearing it. Very quiet and peaceful and great communication. Thanks so much

excellent attentive at all times

Our experience in this apartment in Holbox was the best. The location in Punta Cocos is perfect if you are looking for peace and quiet. We loved the peace that felt in place and the ocean views from the apartment are breathtaking. It is the maximum to wake up seeing the sea and in the afternoon the sunsets were a spectacle. The beach is steps away from the apartment and my daughters enjoyed! It is a super safe beach for children as it is very shallow and without waves, like a large pool. The apartment had everything we needed. The kitchen is super well equipped, which allowed us to cook and enjoy. My husband had meetings online for work and it is important to mention that the internet worked perfectly, which we must confess, we were a little worried when deciding to visit the island. We return very happy and want to return soon :) It's a great spot for family vacations, if you're looking for a quiet spot and being in touch with nature.
