Celestun beachfront villa. Steps from the water

We had a fabulous time at Rene’s place. Beautiful beach, lovely condo complex, great pool and fabulous host. I would love to go again. It is about 25 minutes by car from Celestun so remote which is what we wanted. Important to have a car and pick up groceries in Celestun before heading to the condo.

This was one of the BEST stays we've experienced! Our stay at this architect-designed home was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the thoughtful design. Each space was crafted with intention, and we appreciated the seamless flow between indoor and outdoor living. The home is perfectly appointed, with everything we could possibly need (and more!) to enjoy a comfortable and luxurious stay. Waking up to breathtaking ocean views, spending our afternoons lounging by the private pool, and stepping out directly to the ocean made for an unforgettable experience. The location is also ideal—just a short walking distance from town, we explored the charm of Celestún, the ecological surroundings, and the best seafood -- all only a short beach walk. We cannot recommend this place enough! We will definitely be back!

Wonderful place. It has a prime waterfront location. Ideal for enjoying a quiet and relaxed atmosphere. My family enjoyed it to the fullest and my kids even more so, they didn't move from the beach. The sea is super nice and crystal clear. Highly recommended, we will definitely choose it again.

The exterior showcases a small, modern house with a minimalist design. Plant life surrounds the entrance, and a wooden bench is positioned beneath a shaded area. Natural light filters through the trees, creating a peaceful outdoor environment.

this is probably one of the nicest accommodation in Celestun. private property, cleanly with its own restaurant. the owner gets along in English, is helpful and the apartment was very pleasant and in pretty good conditions. the apartment was quite clean, nice bathroom, 2 separate rooms ( 1 has 2 double beds and the 2nd has 1 double bed), comfortable beds. in one room climate (the one with 2 beds) in the other room. tiny kitchen but there is a stove and fridge. it didn't smell and in the rooms you can also unfold 2 hammocks. delicious breakfast. thank you for your stay. On the other hand, Celestun herself, unfortunately, is terribly dirty and polluted, but it's no longer the hosts' fault.

The lady looked after us very well. She was always attentive and very kind, that's why I give her 5 stars, I prefer the attention over the details that the place could have. I've had experiences in other places where the people in charge of the accommodation don't answer, or don't give many instructions or recommendations, or there are problems and they don't solve them immediately. The lady was always attentive, recommended places and answered our questions. The details of the place to take into consideration is that it is on the second floor and the spiral staircase is a bit narrow, take it into account if you go with an elderly person. The beach is across the street, one block away is the center, ATMs, pharmacy. The plastic lid of the toilet is smaller than the toilet, so it sinks when you sit on it, it was a small detail... There is hot water and the wifi worked well for us. Overall, we had a very comfortable stay. We hope to return.

The hosts are always very friendly. They are willing to help with questions and suggestions for activities, places of interest and where to eat. The space was clean and equipped upon arrival and they have a good internet connection. The location is excellent just steps from the beach. What I enjoyed the most was the terrace with ocean views and a nice hammock.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mara's! It was a beautiful home and had everything we needed for our stay in Celestún! It's close to anything you need including right down the road from the beach and good dining! She even has a lockable gate to park your car inside. We also recommended doing the guardianes mangrove tour!!! It was an amazing experience to see the flamingos and other species just a five minute walk down the road! Mara is an incredibly nice person and VERY responsive host with wonderful recommendations. She made us feel right at home during our stay! 10/10 experience and will always book this place anytime we are in Celestún!

BEACHFRONT bliss, serene escape (Casa Option-3)

Jareks place is a paradise! It is situated in the newer part of the town and it's very quiet, the view from the terrace is spectacular. You can also watch the sunset from the palapa that is right in front of the beach. The beach is big and very private. The white sand is clean an full of beautiful shelks. The ocean is ideal for children, as it's not deep. You walk into the water for many meters. The house is a jewel. It is very beautifully furnished and decorated in a colorful, rustic Mexican style. The kitchen is very well equipped, the beds are cozy, the internet is fast, it is air-conditioned, and very clean. We had a wonderful time and of course recommend the place a 100%! Jarek and Julia are very welcoming and helpful and lovely.

We liked the apartment Option 2 very much. It was very clean and originally furnished. The kitchen is well equipped with practically new pans and a gas stove. It also has a good washing machine. On the roof terrace you can enjoy the fantastic sunset and the refreshing wind. A friendly dog named Macho guards the grounds to the beach.

A cozy sleeping area is highlighted by a spacious bed with a pink coverlet. Natural light enters through a window, illuminating the textured walls. A wooden dresser and a decorative mirror add to the aesthetic, while unique hanging decor and a ceiling fan enhance the atmosphere.
