Very nice place to stay for a whole family.
A spacious living area is bathed in natural light from large windows, illuminated by soft reflections. A cozy arrangement of light-colored sofas and armchairs surrounds a wooden coffee table. Green plants are strategically placed throughout, enhancing the relaxed ambiance. Colorful artwork adorns the walls.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sophie’s B&B. Sophie was a very friendly and accommodating host. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting her and sitting around her dining room table for a chat and appies. The included and personalized breakfast was a lovely bonus. Sophie was helpful with recommendations and ensured we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Thank you Sophie for making us feel like welcomed friends during our stay!

Very nice place. it has the charm of the old with modern comfort. The village is charming too, it's a quiet and simple fishing village but has a coffee place with a little shop, a restaurant and a bookstore! Flateyri and Agnar Jón place are a must in the Westfjords.

Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful corner of the world! This spot as absolutely magical, and Hildur and her partner were so welcoming and warm. Staying here was the highlight of my trip to Iceland, and I definitely hope to come back in the future. The setting is spectacular and so peaceful, and the cottage is clean, quiet, and private.

The cozy shelter

We had a wonderful stay at Hayats home. They welcomed us like family and opened up they’re home to us. They have a beautiful view of the mountains and fjord from the dining table. They gave us lots of great recommendations of restaurants and other places to visit. We would definitely recommend her place.
A bedroom is presented with two spacious twin beds, each dressed in light bedding. Framed artwork hangs above the beds. A bedside lamp and a small nightstand accompany each bed. A wooden dresser stands against the wall, providing additional storage space.

The Guesthouse at Dynjandi Falls, Frostrós

Leslie and Greg’s place made us consider the possibilities of moving to the area, or having regular retreats there. It’s so beautiful, peaceful, wild, and all around amazing nature on the fjord. We loved going down to visit the seals especially, one which we named Bernhard, so say hi to him when you see him. We initially had concerns about the drive to get there, in part because of worsening conditions for the time of year but also in part because we made a poor choice of only having a 2WD car. Leslie and Greg recommended that we will be fine and they were absolutely right, and thankfully they communicated with us well because we nearly chose to not go to the north and the fjords, but their communication put us at ease. An absolutely wonderful experience and we can wait to return to the region one day, hopefully to Leslie and Greg as well
A quaint white chapel with a red roof is situated amidst a vast green field. The soft glow from a window hints at warmth within. A white picket fence surrounds the structure, and a vibrant sunset paints the sky in shades of orange and pink.

Sæból remote farm, Westfjords

The host: cozy, correct, fast, attentive. The Location: Have patience (from the exit 40min), drive carefully, enjoy the view that you are driving, it is secluded but it is worth it. The house: Upon entering the house you immediately feel a homely warmth, it is practical, cozy, has a beautiful view. The animals: the dogs, the sheep, the birds, the seals, the fox,... make the excursions even more unique. Thank you!
