Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Iowa City

This is our second time staying at Beth’s place! We hope to come back every year when we visit family nearby. We truly feel right at home. She is so proactive and there really is nothing else you could ever want or need that isn’t already at the Airbnb. Water pressure was great and was hot in the shower, house temp was a good temperature, and the house is so peaceful. Always a great time there!

We found a couple broken utensils and let him know, he was apprentice of us telling him so he could replace for future guests. He was very responsive and friendly. Always love dog friendly places so we can travel with our "kid!" Nick's place was spacious but cozy and we had a great time just hanging out as a family, playing games and celebrating the holidays over a long weekend!

I thought everything was perfect. Most definitely worth every penny.

This is the second year we have stayed at Riad’s place to attend an Iowa football game and we will be back! Super clean, great host and great location.

The Airbnb was perfect for our family’s stay. It was nicely decorated, very clean, and had thoughtful touches such as a stuffed animal on the bunk bed and board games. The location was central to downtown Cedar Rapids and there was plenty parking on the street for us to park. We had no trouble accessing the unit and were promptly given a check in code. The house itself had plenty of space and was perfect for a family traveling. Happily would stay here in again!

We had a great stay. Everything was clean and ready to go! We all enjoyed that they had marked the type and firmness of the mattresses, it was nice because everyone could choose which one they wanted to fit their needs.

Very clean, quiet, and cozy home. Bunch of snacks and drinks to choose from and a dozen options of cozy beds to sleep in :)

Great place to stay for any reason! If you need a place to stay on a trip or you just want a weekend away from home. Dave’s place was clean, welcoming, and enjoyable. I definitely recommend staying if you are in the area!!

Very nice little duplex that’s close to lots of coffee and food spots, well worth the money!

This is my third stay at Babi's Place and it's always great. Sue is a wonderful and very thoughtful host. Decorating for the holidays was a wonderful touch and really made it feel right at home!

This was our second time staying here and love it! Great location; was just a short uber ride to the bars/restaurants we wanted to go to. Entire place was nicely decorated and appreciated the snacks and water that were provided!

Fabulous Stay! Great 3 Bedroom, 3 bath home. All on 1st floor. Spectacular kitchen with great appliances and accessories. TVs in every bedroom. Julie was very kind to leave us some snacks, etc. We spent Christmas with our Son that lives in Iowa City. It was Perfect. Felt like Home.

This place is lovely and peaceful! Looked just like the photos and was as described. The hosts were great about providing information prior to arrival, and there was a binder in the unit with additional information. We only used the king bed, but it was comfortable and well appointed. the bathroom was small, so only one person getting ready at a time, but very nicely put together and had all the amenities. We enjoyed our time here and would recommend to others looking for a cozy place in Marion!

Staying Gloria’s was wonderful for us. Gloria made everything easy and we had so much fun and absolutely enjoyed our stay. Gloria’s is within asking distance of many of our activities and the set up Gloria had at the apartment was perfect. We will stay here again if we find ourselves in Iowa City again.

The home was perfectly spacious with plenty of room to lounge. The two living areas were robust and had ample seating for the family. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with all the necessities for a home cooked meal. The outdoor space is limited however this wasn’t necessary for our trip considering the cold weather. This place is perfect for families who need a space like home. I’d highly recommend!

This was my second time staying at Chandler's place and I loved it again. I previously really enjoyed it in the summer, but the winter stay was still great. The sunroom area is a little drafty as it is over the garage but a new fireplace with remote warmed it up. The rest of the place was cozy and the decor is truly amazing. It was a great retreat for me while visiting nearby family. A nice game of pool and curling up to read in the multiple sitting areas was a great way to spend some downtime. I love being near downtown, but I had to make multiple back and forth trips across town and to the hospitals and the quick access to the interstate was helpful. I was glad for a lack of snow with the steep street, but they did make sure to add salt to the driveway when it needed it. Chandler was again a very responsive and thoughtful host. I reported a couple of minor issues to her and she was quickly on top of them. I would love to stay again when I'm in town!

This place was perfect for getting ready for my wedding. The pink tones made it girly and being super close to my venue was a plus. It was fantastic and I would highly recommend it to any bride!

We have stayed here several times, and it is always clean, comfortable, and nicely appointed. Chelsee is also fantastic!

We had a wonderful stay. It was a nice, cozy home away from home. The accommodations were exactly as described. Thuy was very quick to respond to our special needs. She was also kind, friendly and compassionate.

We were visiting our daughter in Iowa City but there were other guests so we needed a place that was near but that also would be fun,and give us more room than a hotel room. This condo is was perfect. It was modern, very clean, and nicely appointed. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was spotless with a great shower. We didn't cook as we were at our daughter's for meals but the kitchen seemed to have everything one would need. Nice sets of dishes and glasses, and ample cutlery and cookware. One other nice feature of this condo is its location - close to restaurants and shops in the downtown area.

Nice clean place not too far from Iowa city.

The place was fantastic! Great area just a block away from Xtreme Arena (we were in town for an event). The condo was beautiful, even better in person. The instructions were the most clear I’ve ever seen in a rental and the link sent at check in and check out walks you through each step. I love that we could use it to unlock the door, too. The amenities were great - we used both large TVs so the teens could karaoke and we could watch sports. Bed was comfortable, and lots of games available. Kyle was awesome to communicate with. We would 100% book again in the future
