Cabin vacation rentals in Inverhuron

Went away with three friends for a weekend getaway. Honestly one my favourite places to have stayed before. The place had everything we needed, it was clean and felt just like home. Hot tub was great, sauna was great and even the surrounding accommodations were better than expected. The hosts are just as about as amazing, if not better, than the place itself. They are very kind and welcoming. If you're wondering about whether or not this place would be worth it, it most definitely is!! Give it a shot, you won't regret staying here.

Visited with family to go on a hike. It’s a close distance from lions head and Tobermory isn’t too much further. Check in was super simple and easy and Farooq & team answered any questions and concerns within a very timely manner! The view is amazing and of course we loved the hot tub, especially after a long day of hiking. Would absolutely recommend this place if you plan on visiting this area

Carlo’s place was exactly what we wanted for a little getaway. Had everything we needed and more. Even though the weather was too hot to use the hot tub and outside fire pit. Having the option to do so was nice. We would definitely come back.

Therese and Jim were awesome hosts and their property was amazing. Everything was as expected and our time there was awesome. Highly recommend this for any large group.

Thank you so much Jamie for such a comfortable stay. It was the perfect option for us to spend time with our family down the road while still having space for ourselves. The house was really comfortable and well stocked with kitchen and pantry items to make our stay easy. The hot tub was fantastic, even in -13C weather. Also the use of the washer and dryer was convenient during our week long stay. Jamie was very responsive to any queries that we had and we’d thoroughly recommend staying here. Watching the snow fall through the trees was magical.

Jeffrey was a great host, we meant him when we first arrived and he offered to help with our luggage. He was friendly and very quick with his response which was helpful. Our stay was very cozy and relaxing just what we were looking for and with the hot tub and sauna was the perfect package. Was a great winter getaway and would definitely return.

We had a fantastic stay at Jeffrey's airbnb. Everything inside was very comfortable, we had plenty of space and enjoyed the outdoor amenities. Details were very clearly communicated, entry was easy and checkout time was perfect. The nearby beach and town are adorable and we enjoyed checking out the local spots. Fantastic accommodation, highly recommend!

What a wonderful weekend getaway! Could not have asked for a more perfect place for my fiancée and I to spend some peaceful time in nature. Elizabeth and her husband Scott were wonderful friendly hosts, they made us feel right and home and had great stories to share about the area and their beautiful property. The bunk house was the perfect spot along the river nestled in the cedar forest. Enjoyed the trails, the canoe and the fire pit views. Great trip into Goderich where we checked out some antique shops and local stores. Thank you again for a wonderful stay, we hope to see you again!

We really enjoyed a weekend getaway, hard to beat sitting by the campfire watching the stars. The place was exactly as described and is a little rustic getaway. We loved the location and how private it was with cute little cabin.

My partner and I had a great experience staying in this cozy cottage over Christmas! We loved sitting by the fire, and enjoyed the quiet neighbourhood. We felt that our time here exceeded our expectations, and we appreciated all the little gestures made by the host that made our stay so comfortable!

My second time visiting Shelly's peaceful property. Got to enjoy the cozy woodstove this time, what a treat! Highly recommend Hawkin's retreat if it's peace and quiet you seek.

We stayed at the cottage in winter. The house was warm, with thermostats in every room. All appliances were working, and a washer and dryer were a nice bonus. The place was perfect for four people. In the summer, one could also enjoy the garden and the proximity to the beach. Ian was very quick to respond and help.

Thank you for a lovely stay at your rustic cabin. We really enjoyed sitting on the porch and seeing all the stars at night. Thank you for dropping off some really delicious tomatoes in the morning.

Fantastic place & very nice owners!

Lovely home on a great stretch of Lake Huron. Sandy beach mixed with grass that’s shared with other cottages but not many people around. Those you meet are super friendly. Comfy beds and well laid out spaces. Nice collection of movies. My son particularly was obsessed with the Alexa device in the kids room. The kitchen has everything you need but is bare of extra food stuff like baking supplies or spices you often find in cottages. I think it’s because the owner has food allergies. The lack of laundry is something to be aware of. And that you have to bring linens including all our towels and kitchen towels.

We have spent a marvellous snowy Christmas in Leslie’s cabin. We cooked, played games and walked to the beach. Our labradors were in their element in the cold crisp air. The cabin is unique, beautifully maintained and kitchen a charm to cook Christmas dinner in. We would love to Come back in the summer in a heartbeat and maybe next Christmas. We had a lovely weekend celebrating my husband’s 39th birthday. It checked everything on our boxes: private, in nature, amazing views, sunsets and listening to waves at night. It’s so peaceful, truly a magical charming cottage. Thank you for sharing it with us! Hosts do a great job at describing the cottage, so if you don’t like spiders, or walking up/down 70 steps don’t choose this cottage however for us it didn’t bother us at all. We actually enjoyed it and it added to the wonderful feeling of escaping from the city - into your own private retreat, to unwind and enjoy the simple things in life. Thanks again!

This is our 5th year at Jason’s cottage. We have 2 kids under 10 and we’ve thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back every year. It’s truly made family memories for us. This is our happy place. Just 2 blocks from the beautiful beach, and he has beach chairs or wagon to borrow if needed. We look forward to our night swims and cozy outdoor fires. There are fans in the cottage for the warmer nights which is convenient. Jason has always been quick to respond and helpful. We can’t wait to come back again next year!
