Lovely, cozy place to stay. We got to see turtles, fish and a couple platypus’s swimming in the river that backs onto the property. Very friendly hosts, who showed us a tree Kangaroo on the property! Place has basic necessities, but everything you’d need as a traveller.

We really had a great time at melissa's place was a great location and perfect for our skiing holiday. Having the lake right outside the backdoor was so convenient for the kids no packing up gear to go skiing for the day and when the little ones needed a rest, the adults could still enjoy the dam. Melissa was extremely helpful with any queries i had prior to checking in. I would definitely recommend this place and will most definitely be booking again. Thanks again melissa for allowing us to stay at your lovely house.

Beautiful clean accommodation. Loved having a pool after a hot day in the sun! Bed super comfy and bathroom large and clean. Always appreciate a washer and dryer! Easy walk to local cafes, restaurants, and beach. Super generous breakfast provisions provided! Deborah is great to communicate with.

Quirky quaint old cottage straight out of the 70s. Magnificent pool. Plenty of room for the extended family. For people looking for a convenient place to stay while experiencing the huge variety of attractions that the Yungaburra region offers, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Gillian's place.

We absolutely loved our stay! Linda was a great host, great communication throughout our stay. Loved the welcome pack and all the extras in the kitchen and laundry. This was a thoughtful addition to our stay. Well set out space with privacy, comfortable beds, clean linen, cot was set up on arrival. Amazing views and clean pool. This property ticks so many boxes. What a lovely couple of days at Hemmingway’s cottage. It was so relaxing, exactly what we were looking for. Fifi has thought of everything, music playing when arrived, breakfast included, comfortable beds, wood for the fire, bubbles for the bath, board games, books, magazines and even bandaids, I could go on. Everything was thought of. We will definitely be returning.

The house is exactly as shown in the photos, offering stunning views and comfortable, welcoming common areas. It is fully equipped with everything necessary for cooking and is conveniently located just a 10-minute drive from the town. We would also like to mention that we visited with our dog, Juno, who enjoyed the house just as much as we did. Thomas always kind and attentive. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

Blake’s place is one of the best we have stayed in. The elevated views and lush tropical plants are breathtaking. Huge deck, great bbq and outdoor fridge, clean and comfortable beds, spotless and spacious bathroom. We even had a female cassowary join us after we finished breakfast. Peaceful bliss! Blake is a fantastic host.

Beautiful rainforest setting with lawns leading to a creek with forest to the top of a 400m mountain sometimes lost in the clouds. Lots of birds including a cassowary. Kangaroos grazing in a roo paradise. Short drive to a long pristine beach. Rainforest creek swimming on the property and deeper water 10 mins by car. Very comfortable and well equipped. Caitlin and Martin were friendly and kind.
