Family-friendly vacation rentals in Inhambane Province

The place is spacious and overlooking an amazing view of green palm trees and the ocean. We only took away positives from our stay.

Lovely place with large, quiet garden. Artur, the housekeeper was extremely helpful and attentive. The house is as described and well situated at a more quiet part of vilankulos. The pool was a quite green when we arrived, but Artur took care of it right away and we could use it from the next day on. Definitely good value for money, and definitely a recommendation! I'll stay there again when I come back!

The house is superb: beautiful spaces, charming decoration, warm rooms, fantastic views of the azure blue gradations of the sea…. Staff is available and considerate. Fred and Misha are available and accommodating. I would highly recommend this rental!! Thank you for everything

We stayed for a month at Gwen and Greg’s. The caretaker (Herman) was a legend and ensured a clean place, a friendly environment and good value fresh seafood from local fisher people. We found the view from the deck onto the mangroves excellent and think it more protected from wind and storms than beach views. Fans were provided as well as white goods and a very useful gas bbq. Security overnight was provided by a guard on premises. We went for walks and jogs each day to the beach which is both an easy walk or easy drive

beautiful place. cozy. simple but has everything you need. good shades on the front porch. always fresh there, even in the hottest hours. nice terrace to watch the sunset. kirstin was responsive and available and António, the person that welcomed us was very friendly, available, helpful. gave good recommendations. him and his wife were very good and kind hosts. they are definitely a value of the place.

The house is situated on a hill with a fantastic view over Tofinho beach. Quiet and peaceful with beautiful garden. Katija is a very good host, communicative and flexible.

We had a great time at Jonathan's. The house is very spacious and lots of very quirky rooms. The kids loved their rooms and they all were comfortable, airconditioned and most were en-suite. The view from the main living area is just a delight on the eyes. There is lots of couch space and the pool is spotless. The helper Vanencio was there to greet us and made sure the house was tidy and clean all the time. Honestly, we couldn't have wanted anything more. The beach by the house is probably our favourite stretch in Vilanculos and as a family holiday, this place just ticked all our boxes. Would definitely recommend and would certainly go again

Paradise found. Casa Oito a simple roff the grid beach home situated on Pomene Ridge with stunning views of sea and estuary. Everything functional, spotlessly clean and comfortable. Camp attendant Armondo cheerful, willing and hard working. Pat a super host deluxe who provided us with comprehensive info and kept in regular contact. A wonderful stay in a pristine piece of paradise. Highly recommended.

We loved Pura Vida. We enjoyed being down the beach a tiny bit from the main part of town…but still close enough to walk to restaurants. Dave was a super kind and helpful host. Also appreciated the lush native vegetation and landscaping - lovely.

Great spot! A short walk to the beach and market, tucked away on a quiet street. We will be back!

This is our second stay at La Vida Jax and it lived up to expectations again - our biggest compliment is that we’ll go back again ( and again ! ) . Jaco was responsive and gave great advice. Juvencio and his team made our stay a real pleasure.

The villa is very clean, situated in a peaceful, quiet and beach near by. The view from the villa is exquisite, the rooms are cleans and spacious. The lodge is near the restaurants which are situated at the beach. And you can see whales when your in the Villa.. The host she is very much friendly..
