SATK INN - Double Room

SubaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
I had a very pleasant and peaceful stay. The place was very clean, my room was as I expected. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, always very helpful. The meals were all very authentic and full of the flavours of Jaffna (as requested by me), simply delicious! I was able to get to all the spots I planned as it’s easy access to all the local areas of interest as well as Jaffna town. I definitely will be staying there on my next visit! Can’t recommend them enough.

Rakshi's

VikiRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
My first time in Jaffna and I was very lucky to find Rakshi’s place. She is such a lovely person , so willing to help and speaks perfect English. We had many nice talks in the evening. Bonus for me! Her house is an amazing old colonial style house. Huge and airy with a garden . Great for those hot days. A short walk to Nallur Kovil, Rio Ice Cream, Lavin’s restaurant and the Lemon Tree. 5minute Tuk Tuk to downtown Jaffna. I would not hesitate to book her place again. Thank you Rakshi!

Sivakunjarapavanam, Keerimalai, Jaffna, Sri Lanka

JonathanRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This is a lovely place to stay, one of the best airbnbs I have ever stayed in. Everyone was very friendly and I enjoyed meeting some of the local people and visiting one of the nearby farms and meeting the lady who farms it. The temple nearby is spectacular and it was nice having a dip with the local people in the hot springs. The bus ride along the coast to Point Pedro was interesting but not much to do when you get there. It was lovely to be well off the beaten track away from tourists and tourism from traffic and noise and chill with a book. Not many people around here speak English fluently so it would be important to have had a chat with Shiva or his wife before you arrive and if you are arriving by Tuk tuk or taxi, get them to explain to the driver where to go. Meals if you want them will be prepared and brought in by a nearby lady very traditional and very nice, vegetarian and if you ask not too spicy.
