Places to stay in Independence

Loved the neighborhood and enjoyed sitting on the back patio. Response time from host was slow at times but overall a great experience .

Last minute reservation due to problems with our hotels cleanliness. The Castle is a very unique house that we loved

We loved the history behind this place. Really liked the way the property combined the old hard woods with modern and updated bathroom and kitchen. 2 large TVs one in bedroom and one in living room. Will definately stay here again when we are in Excelsior Springs!!!

The home is very welcoming from the time you walk in. Everyone loved the layout, the decor, and amenities. The beds were some of the most comfortable we've ever slept in during any of our Airbnb stays. The host was easy to work with, very responsive, and had very clear instructions from start to finish. We will definitely be recommending this house to friends and family that may be staying in that area. Thank you for the great stay and experience.

We enjoyed staying at this Airbnb! It was such a beautiful loft. We loved the open concept of the kitchen and living room and it has plenty of room upstairs! Very clean, had everything we needed and the hosts were very communicative, responded fast and kind. Location felt very safe and comfortable! Would stay here again!

Debra was proactive with communication, accommodating changes due to the severe weather in the area. We adjusted seamlessly and had a fantastic stay. Her place is one of a kind, steeped in the history of the area. The downtown location was super cool. The beds were super comfy and the space, which is quite expansive, served all our needs to a T. Awesome experience all around!!

The space was comfortable and clean. Short drive to lots of restaurants and entertainment. The team messaged us to ensure we were enjoying our stay and our needs were being met. Noise travels easily in the building. We got a complaint from other guests about our noise level. The second floor unit might not be ideal for travelers with toddlers like ourselves. The team was friendly and understanding communicating the complaint.
