Great stay, second time in this place

Small peaceful haven on the shores of Lake Inari. The house is very functional and bright. The views of the frozen lake are beautiful. The center of Inari is a few minutes drive away.

We spent three unforgettable days in this dream house in the middle of nature right on the lake. The unique location and the amenities, which leave nothing to be desired, make this place an absolute highlight. From the first moment we immediately felt at home – surrounded by tranquility and an impressive privacy. Particularly noteworthy is the separate sauna cottage with wood-burning stove, which lies directly on the lake and guarantees pure relaxation. On clear evenings, we even had the unique opportunity to admire the aurora lights above the frozen lake in their full splendor – a breathtaking natural spectacle! The accommodation also impresses with its extraordinary cleanliness and thoughtful furnishings. Our stopover on the Lapland trip was much more than just a place to stay – it was a real experience that we highly recommend to everyone. We very much hope to be back in the summer.

Very helpful host. Guided all possible things to be taken tare or to know before we reach there. The cottage is located located bit far from city locality, so a perfect place if you are looking for a calm peaceful vacation. Just a 100/200 meters walk - and you could stand beside the lake. Or take a walk in the trails of woods. Look through the windows - eyes will go beyond the horizon. Serenity is all around the place. Talking about the cottage, its supper equipped with almost everything that one could need to enjoy the stay. Specially the kitchen - you find every single thing for your cooking need. Loved it! Living rooms and bedrooms were very clean and tidy. Comfortable living room furnitures to relax with family or friends with a cup of coffee or even with drinks. Mobile network connectivity was excellent. Special thing to mention about the cottage location from our opinion is about northern lights. The cottage is situated probably best to enjoy northern light during the winter.

This place and its surroundings are simply so beautiful! As much coziness, peace and quiet as you can wish for. And still so much to do and see! We recommend a day trip to Tanamunningen / Høyholmen as well as exploration of the nature just around the cottage, snow shoes made that easy. We were a bit unlucky with the weather as can always happen but the house absolutely made up for that: great sauna, fireplace, grilling sausage outside by the fire in the snow and playing board games and simply watching the amazing landscape. We loved our stay! The house was as pictured and we had everything we needed and more. We arrived late which wasn‘t a problem since we got a code for a lock box. The house we found perfectly fine with google maps and the lights infront of it helped as well. Keep in mind that it‘s quite secluded, so bring everything you need, kick back and enjoy the nature, peace and quiet! :) Everything was clean and tidy when we arrived. The house is really lovely furnished and you feel at home as soon as you enter. The kitchen had everything we needed, there were also some spices, sugar etc. Our beds were as comfortable as they looked on the pictures. We were here during february which was perfect to spot the northern lights! We could see them from the front yard and the lake! (We could walk a bit out there since it was frozen solid). We also saw some animal paw prints in the snow so you might even spot some when you‘re there. Thank you so much Ira for sharing your lovely home with us. :)

Have arrived and were very positively surprised. Super secluded in absolute tranquility, and yet easily accessible by car. The whole crew is very nice and accommodating. The mix of the cozy beds and the view of the starry sky or the northern lights are top notch. Recommended activities are also recommended. Driving the snowmobile is much cheaper in comparison to the offers that can be found on the internet and you drive alone, not in large groups. Even if it is not the cheapest place to stay, it is definitely worth the price and you can relax super.

We had a great time in Levi, Matti's place. Ideal accommodation, close to all amenities, all activities ... I recommend it without hesitation and we will come back too ...

Beautiful stay in this apartment overlooking the snowy forest. Equipped with all useful services, kitchen with oven and stove, bathroom and sauna. Spacious rooms with single beds. The only flaw is the sheets and towels are not included in the living room. Responsive and helpful host, very clear and detailed instructions, self check-in and a reserved parking space outside. It's absolutely worth staying here. Around there are many activities to do such as Safari Husky, reindeer, snowmobiles, skiing, etc... It is only a few minutes from the center of Saariselkä by car.

The stay was a great success and fully met our needs. The apartment is practically in the middle of nature, and there are also shops and Ylläs bike and hiking trails nearby.

The apartment was just as lovely as the photos. The apartment is in a quiet location, but still ski trails and hiking trails, as well as other services are nearby. Communication went smoothly, and there were clear instructions on how to check in and use different appliances (sauna, fireplace, oven, etc.). All things considered, the stay went well and I could stay again. 😊

Anne was very available and very kind, she helped us with our efforts.

Although I am a strong believer that perfection does not exist, Petteri has tried very hard that my believe is wrong. He has been an extremely nice host and the fact that the accommodation is a perfect spot to catch Auroras has made our stay in Lapand extraordinary.

An absolutely great place right in the middle of nature! We have taken care of ourselves for a week (in winter) - we would highly recommend this to all other guests, as you are - as I said - in the middle of nature and far away from tourist infrastructure. You should not underestimate the cold, as the landlady tells you before. All in all a perfect place to experience northern lights and cozy fireplace evenings! Communication with the landlady was always quick and good!

Marika is a responsive host that answers any questions pretty much right away. The property is perfect for a small getaway with your loved ones - warm and cozy. 10 out of 10!

I stayed at Joris cabin over Christmas. I had a great time. The cabin is simple but well equipted. During my stay the Hotel seemed fully booked, however I never heard the neighbouring guests and felt the cabin was well isolated. I enjoyed the atmosphere during winter. I saw a reindeer walk aross my window christmas morning which was a nice bonus. Jori was also very communicative and a friendly host. Hope to visit again :)

An oasis of peace and tranquility, Jenny's home was the perfect place to spend our 10 days in Lapland. The house gave a feeling of being in the family, very welcoming and warm, despite the extremely low temperatures (in the first days we tried the -39 C experience). The house was very clean, tidy and stocked with anything we might need. We also used cross-country skis. Enjoying the view from the windows was very exciting, with the reindeer walking in their habitat, the colorful sunsets, and the sunshine seen by the trees at dawn. Jenny is a great host, super thorough in providing us with all the necessary information, from check-in to nearby activities. We will definitely be back in this magical place! We had an amazing stay. The house is a gem, a simple beauty with lots of attention to detail, very spacious with beautiful finish designs (even the bedsheets were matching the Iitala kitchen bowls!) and equipped with everything you need. We spent many hours at the lake enjoying the constantly changing views and stunning mirror-images in the lake. We were so lucky with the weather that we always ate out on the terrasse or the jetty. The grill Kotta is great for barbequing as well. We also enjoyed a few hikes and Kayak tours in the area and definitely want to come again in a different season to experience the changing landscape and nature. Juha and Kate were great communicative hosts, we highly recommend this place.

The cotttage was nice and cosy. It is 5 minutes drige to the ski slope or you can take the ski bus. The kitchen is will stacked, the bathroom is clean and a souna is a big plus. There is a lake nearby, perfect for aurora hunting!

we spent a full week at Joonas house (family of 4), and had a great time. communication with Joonas was excellent before and during our stay. All was as advertised, the house has everything you need to settle quickly. it's a quiet area with beautiful surroundings. the house was spacious, clean and fully equipped. we enjoyed the notherns lights, the frozen lake a d of course the proximity to the ski resort. even under extreme cold temperature the house remained warm (floor heating was working on overdrive!). we will consider returning for sure.
