Family-friendly vacation rentals in Imabari

I would give 6 stars if I could - Extremely friendly hosts, very beautiful traditional guest house and the island is amazing as well. You will meet many interesting and kind people staying at the guest house as well. I would recommend joining in on the shared meals too, it's a lot of fun helping out with them and eating communally.

It was the most memorable place I stayed at the end of my trip.It was a spacious house built 39 years ago on the sea, and there was a large cherry tree in the garden that was beautifully in full bloom.The layout and furniture of the room have a nostalgic yet elegant atmosphere.By staying here, I could imagine the lives of the former residents.The owner, Shiomi, is very hospitable, and the room was filled with a guidebook she had put together with information for sightseeing in Onomichi, which was very helpful. We had to cancel the barbecue under the cherry blossoms because we arrived late, but breakfast under the cherry blossoms was also a luxurious and unexpectedly wonderful experience. Access may be a little inconvenient without a car, but for those who can drive, it is definitely a great place to stay.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

It is a quiet place to live at an affordable price. The shower is shared, but it was good for the price. Recommended for solo travelers who plan to stay for a long period of time.

It was in a very good location because you can walk to the hot springs and stroll around the area.

The check-in procedure was easy to understand, and the room was clean and very comfortable.It's a futon-style bed, so people who usually sleep on soft beds may feel that it is hard.It was nice to have plenty of dishes and tea sets for service.However, regular coffee powder was provided, but the style was to stick a lightweight spoon into the powder, so it may not be suitable for people who are concerned about touching it directly.　I thought the quick reply to messages was very good.

My family of four used the entire house. The accommodation itself is quite enjoyable.There are various amenities, and it's nice to enjoy indoor board games with a kotatsu, or to have tea by the fireplace in the very long and stylish dining room, or to cook while looking at the ocean right in front of the kitchen, or of course to drink beer on the beach right in front of the house, which is the best!! You can also barbecue in the garden.This time, I arrived in the evening and had to leave early in the morning, so I did everything I wanted to do at the accommodation in a short time.I wanted to stay 2 or 3 nights and look at the sea the whole time.I had a very pleasant stay, feeling the hospitality of the owner and his wife everywhere.The whole family, you found such a good place!I was impressed.Thank you very much.

The house is old, but very well taken care of. It’s a bit far from the street but you can easily get to supermarkets with 5min drive. The host is very nice and willing to help. The bath is something you definitely want to try. Near the house there is a park, where people especially children there are very polite and it’s fun to watch them play sports.

A little cheaper would be appreciated.

We stayed with 9 people and it was about 10,000 yen per person, but we were very satisfied!They also rented BBQ equipment.
