Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Ilmenau

Thanks to Diana, we had the most amazing girls weekend in Bad Tabarz. The accommodation was super clean, lovingly and cozily furnished and equipped with everything you could wish for. We enjoyed the sauna and fireplace use. Great view from the living room! Easy and accurate communication with the hostess and everything worked out smoothly. I'm sure we'll be back :)

We had a wonderful stay! The place was very cozy and offered us exactly the peace and quiet we were looking for. We especially enjoyed the idyllic location - it was incredibly peaceful and we were able to really switch off. Our children were thrilled, because right next door there was a beautiful creek where they could play for hours. That was really perfect for us as a family. A special thank you goes to the hosts Helge and Conny. They were incredibly nice and welcomed us very warmly. We can recommend this place to anyone looking for a break in the middle of nature.

We had two really nice days in Denny's apartment. It is very nice quiet and we sat by the fireplace almost all the time. Thanks for the nice time, our dog Mr. Rüdiger also enjoyed not having to hike for a day. I'm sure we'll be back 🌲🥾

We spent a week of New Year's Eve vacation with 6 adults and 6 children in this beautiful house. The quiet location, with plenty of room to play, romp and walk convinced us. The premises offered opportunities for playing, resting, maintaining community - at the same time. The hosts were super friendly and always available. We felt completely comfortable in this very well-equipped, quaint old house. With a toddler's sleep, the creaky floorboards and doors took some getting used to - but you'll be rewarded with a historic coziness.

Without words, I felt very comfortable and so did my little granddaughters.Definitely 😀come back and book this little cottage. Jacqueline

We stayed with Simone for a weekend to join the biathlon in Oberhof. We immediately liked the apartment: very nicely furnished, clean, everything necessary available and much more. The contact with Simone was excellent – thank you! We didn't see much of the surroundings because our focus was on Oberhof. Christine's cabin is wonderful! We had a pleasant and relaxed experience. We arrived easily by public transport, 10 minutes walk from the train. We found out that the super closed because of the holiday so the family immediately offered to give us groceries for dinner. The house is secluded and has privacy, everything is clean and cozy, and very close to the forest and nature. It was snowing and it was just lovely and cozy. Highly recommend for a relaxing vacation.

We felt very comfortable in Martin's apartment. It is extremely well equipped and very clean - we will be happy to come back. :)

The apartment is very tastefully furnished and very clean, especially the kitchen equipment leaves nothing to be desired. The good tram connection is another plus. There are two very nice spacious bedrooms; the third room (the one with the single beds) is quite small, so we were happy not to be reliant on using this for two. The checkout time (10 am) is fixed (we should have read the conditions more thoroughly:-)) Overall, however, we were very satisfied with the accommodation and would be happy to come back if we were to return to Erfurt. The city is beautiful and definitely worth a second trip.

The communication with Kerstin was very friendly and she is willing to compromise as far as the arrival time is concerned. Bathroom & kitchen are exactly equipped as indicated, hair dryer and dishwasher tabs are available. 👍 The terrace is very nice and from the bedroom you can see the cathedral. ⛪️ You can darken the windows using outside blinds, only in the living room on the terrace door they sometimes go up on their own 😅. You can reach downtown on foot in 10-15 minutes, beautiful parks are nearby. The supermarket is 2 minutes from the house. If you travel by car, there is a spacious parking space in the underground car park available, which allows the car to stay in the garage for the holiday! Kerstin has very often given us good tips on where to drink a cafe or walk. The cleanliness was also pleasant as was the lighting concept, which could be adapted individually due to many different lamps. Great, thank you for everything 🫶

Great apartment that is superbly equipped and clean. Communication with Alex was super easy. The apartment is located just outside the city center, shopping facilities such as butchers, bakers and Rewe as well as Aldi are within walking distance.

We enjoyed staying at the small apartment very much. There was everything you needed to make yourself comfortable and the contact and communication with Kerstin was very pleasant. She was friendly and accommodating and had even provided a small sparkling wine for the first evening. Shopping is right around the corner, within walking distance, and the train station is also not far, so excursions to Weimar and the surrounding area are also possible.

This was the perfect venue for a visit with friends in Gehren. The home was cozy, comfortable and well-provisioned. It was a perfect home base for all of the walking we did while visiting. Highly recommend!

A very nice apartment in a very nice and above all quiet neighborhood. In 10 minutes walk in town. The apartment is very nicely decorated and we did not step around on our feet despite the large number of people (8). The terrace has a great view and is nice and big. Slightly inconvenient is that 1 of the two bathrooms can only be reached by 1 bedroom. So if jmd was asleep, there was only 1 bathroom left. In addition, the drain of the upper shower was clogged, so 8 people had to use this one bathroom in the bedroom. Happened, but wasn't optimal. The host is very nice and we felt very comfortable. We would stay there again. The bottom line is that we have a full score.

A perfect retreat in the Thuringian Forest We had the pleasure of spending a few days in this beautiful cottage and it was just amazing. The location is incredibly quiet, ideal for those looking for relaxation and recreation. The spacious garden invites you to linger and offers plenty of space for outdoor activities. The modern decor of the house is stylish and comfortable, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Particularly noteworthy is the proximity to an excellent restaurant serving delicious local specialties. For families with children, the nearby playground is a big plus. Overall a wonderful place to get away from it all and enjoy the beauty of the Thuringian Forest. We will definitely be back!

We booked Villa Steinsburg for a round birthday with my family, with six adults and six children aged three to eleven. Everything worked out great: the family liked it, the beds were comfortable, the piano gave the little students a lot of joy and the small Gleichberg was a very nice excursion destination for a hike that also delighted the children through the climbing stones.
