This place is more beautiful than the photos show. It is private and the view is expansive and majestic. you can sit is the living area for hours and watch the daylight and weather change. The room is very comfortable, and the hosts have provided numerous amenities. Overall, I cannot think of anything they could do better. They treated us like family friends. Because we are on a walking tour and did not have a car, they offered to drive us into Cromwell for groceries, then drove us through town for photos and sightseeing. They have piles of information about the area available, and old photos on the wall of the area as it has changed over time.

Incredible location, had everything we needed and we left feeing extremely relaxed. Emily was a lovely host. We would have loved to stay longer. Highly recommend!

We can only recommend the property. The host and her husband are very friendly and gave us valuable tips. The place is very clean, well decorated and cozy. The breakfast we found very good.

A beautifully appointed home for our short family stay in Wanaka. The convenience of the Four Square, The Ablie Tavern and Pembroke Pattiserie meant we had everything within reach. Clear and informative communication from the host made check in and check out seamless, especially with little sleep. Highly recommend.

Enjoyed our visit to Wānaka and staying at Rach and Ed’s chalet. Spectacular views, close enough to everything but far enough away to feel like you were by yourself on the mountainside.

The Rock Peak Chalet is an amazing place to stay when visiting Wanaka. Very private setting that overlooks the lake and surrounding mountains. The views are stunning especially later in the day into the evening. Mattress was comfortable and everything was clean when we arrived. The outdoor tub and sky gazing was also great. We would definitely stay here again!

Had a great three nights in Mount Pisa! Felt right at home, and exactly what we needed. Loved having access to the BBQ, and was a welcoming/quiet place to stay. The paths nearby were peaceful and stunning! It was conveniently located close to Wanaka but not in the middle of all the crowds and busyness. Super friendly hosts (and dogs!) is always a bonus :)

Lisa’s home was absolutely beautiful! The view of the lake from the living room/kitchen/patio is breathtaking. Our two families felt right at home in this lovely house. The kids loved the bunk bed set up and ping pong table downstairs. The huge kitchen had everything you could possibly need! The decor was peaceful yet artistic. So many thoughtful details to accommodate guests. Wanaka is a lovely community with delightful restaurants and shops. Don’t forget to check out Cinema Paradiso and catch a movie on a sofa with homemade cookies at intermission! Shop for sheepskins at Wilson & Dorset! I hope one day we can return to this incredible corner of the world.

Fantastic place to stay for a few days over new year. Impeccably clean and very well appointed the home was perfect for our family with two teenagers. Bede and Deb were great hosts very helpful and responded to a query we had very promptly thank you. The house is gorgeous and beautifully styled with a nice outside space with bbq to use. The location is a short drive to town and was handy to a great cafe, small supermarket and great tennis court. Thanks very much Bede and Deb we really enjoyed our stay!

This was a great place for our family of five. Lots of space and everything you could need. Location was great. A short walk to the lake and a nice slightly longer walk in town. Would definitely recommend.

Awesome house in an awesome location, host was great to deal with, excellent communication before during and after our stay, couldn't recommend enough, the house is super spacious, so great for large groups/families. Would 100% stay again, walking distance from shops, bars etc, lots of off-street parking.
