House vacation rentals in Huisseau-sur-Cosson

We stayed in winter, with eight adults and a two-month-old baby. The cottage is very comfortable with underfloor heating, the rooms are large and bright. The bedding is great. The living room is well furnished and everyone can settle in at ease. Very nice to be able to see the goats during the day, the two goats around the cottage. Chambord is within a 30-minute drive. The cottage is in the countryside but a 4-minute drive from a bakery and 7 minutes from Romorantin-Lantenay.

Very responsive, great property, very friendly and quiet. A great stay with friends! Despite a small problem beyond the control of the owner and ours, a compromise was found. I highly recommend staying at this beautiful place.

Very pleasant and clean accommodation. Big rooms. Good bedding (firm). Simple and neat decor. A little attention to the house at check-in. We rented it because it was about 20 mins from Beauval Zoo, I recommend it!

We spent a few days with family at Jeziel and Sandra's, the accommodation was impeccable, and as described. The children had the opportunity to enjoy the arcade terminal made by Jeziel as well as the basketball court. The accommodation is very well located 10 min from Blois center and all amenities. Jeziel was always available, and extremely friendly (our hosts even invited us to share a drink on New Year's Eve). We would highly recommend it!

Very friendly stay in a peaceful place and a welcoming, spacious and well-equipped house. Very well-stocked dishes. The pluses: the wood-burning fireplace, the pool table. The downside: the gray weather, but the host is not to blame! 😉

Very clean, very well-equipped accommodation, Joëlle and Jean are charming hosts and very welcoming. We had a lovely family weekend for the Trail du Pays des Châteaux & Marathon de Cheverny. The property located 15 minutes from Cheverny and Cour Cheverny is ideally located to participate in this event. We took the opportunity to visit Blois and Chambord about a 30 minute drive away.

The stay at Chantal and Jean-Michel's house went very well. When entering the accommodation, it may seem a little rustic (especially the living room) but you quickly get your bearings and get used to this atypical charm of old chalet-type houses. Communication with Jean-Michel was more than perfect. He showed exceptional attention to us for the comfort of the whole family. We were afraid that the heating would not be sufficient for the winter period but finally the temperature was ideal (without having to light the fireplace). The whole family (big and small) felt good in this little haven of peace. The area is beautiful, with lots of things to do with the little ones in the area (walks, castles, Beauval Zoo 1 hour away, small villages nearby). We will surely come back in the spring to enjoy the outdoors and activities in the area.

We enjoyed our stay at the property. Christian provided detailed instructions and recommendations. Everything you might need is close by in the village i.e restaurants, ATMs. food markets etc. Moreover, the location is central to popular attractions in the area such as Chambord and Clemenceau. The apartment is spacious and would easily accommodate four people.

Very friendly welcome. Our host did everything possible to make the house available to us as soon as possible during the day. The house is pleasant to stay in with its bedrooms equipped with toilet and bathroom. The jacuzzi - sauna area is a real place of relaxation that we used after our days of tourist discoveries. We were 11 people, as a family, and everyone loved Lulu's!

We had a lovely stay at Aurore's with our two children who are 4 months and 2.5 years old. All the necessary amenities for the children were on site, the house is very nice as well as the garden and we were able to leave the premises later on the last day to enjoy lunch and the sun. Martine's farmhouse is exceptional, much better than in the pictures! 3 spacious bedrooms, large living room with excellent kitchen, everything is well thought out, everything is clean and pretty, it's a cocoon in the middle of Sologne. We have rarely been so positively surprised both by the property and by Martine and Claude who are very welcoming, discreet, pleasant hosts with very good advice... Very hard to find better, we'll stay in touch! Thank you very much Martine and Claude, our week of the 31st is unforgettable! (for info also Cheverny and Chambord are less than 20 minutes away so the best!)

Very nice accommodation, fully matches the photographs and has all the amenities described in the listing. Ideal location with its close proximity to Château de Chambord, it is a good base camp to explore the region during the day and settle down in the evening. Anastasia and Dimitri were very responsive.
