Great villa, great location. Especially if you love golf

Excellent off season vacation. We were visiting friends in Huelva and Portugal so we decided to stay in El Rompido. The home is beautiful, we would have loved to have used the swimming pool but it was too cold. It is 30 min to Huelva and 1 hr to Faro, Portugal. The house is great for a group, upstairs is open and guests can live comfortably downstairs. We would definitely stay here again! Gate staff were very friendly as well.

A lovely villa in a super peaceful area. You can hear the ocean and see the tops of the waves. Lots of stars at night. There are chickens and roosters nearby which add to the rustic nature of the setting. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed. Nice terrace.

The house is as shown in the photos and description, the great and close hosts, we have been very August and quiet in this villa with all the comforts, we will repeat for sure!!

Everything is great. The house is very nice and complete, with everything you need. The garden and porche we loved it, to come back in summer and enjoy it even more.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Villa Concha; but it’s a house really in a quiet residential area. Very convenient for the Railway Station ( easy for Tavira and Faro) but a longer walk to the river front (15 mins) with plenty of lovely restaurants & cafes. The board walk is a pleasure and the boat trips over to the main beach across the river run all day at 1.5 euros. The pool was perfect & enjoyed our evenings outside with the BBQ. It was the outside space we liked best.The house was cool and dark but had all we needed. Traditional Portuguese. Fridge was good. Very modest inside but clean. We enjoyed bike hire & cycling to Tavira and down the cycle route along the coast. We used Pingo Supermarket. Fabulous choice of fish & meat. No car. Uber for 4 euros with our large shop. The weather was lovely and needed the pool! Our trip came together via Mark our host. His response to any query was quick. So helpful, reliable & obliging. Made our holiday. Thank you Mark.

Excellent home on the hills but not far from Tavira (20 mins) and other towns. Secluded, very nice views. Very nice exteriors and garden. Last 1.5 km aprox to the property are unpaved tracks, as it often the case in this area, but doable with any car.

Beautiful location. Stunning views. A lovely safe and friendly village. We loved being away from the coast but only a 25 minute drive to lovely Tavira and Fuseta down the country roads. The children had a great time in the pool. The villa had everything we needed. The bbq and outdoor space was brilliant. Little local bar and shop up the road where we made new friends. Great stay, super location - and well decorated house with ample space. Only negative comment is the lack of bed sheets, and bed covers. Also not enough towels - and of poor quality.

We had a wonderful stay at Blue Hill Boutique Villa. The villa had everything we needed for our 10 days stay and the pool was amazing (15m in length). Location is very private and quiet as well as safe. We enjoyed spending time at the villa and had a relaxing few BBQ dinners. Kitchen is well equipped with high quality electric appliances. The villa is well located. 10 mins to Olhao with many nice restaurants and seafood market and 25 mins to Faro. Antonio had been very helpful and responsive to our needs. The only suggestion is if owner can install some curtains/blinds in the bedrooms. There are black-out electric shutters. However, if the shutters are closed, the air-con needs to be switched on. It would be nice to have fresh air during the night whist the bedroom windows / electric shutters are open. Overall, great villa and wonderful stay. Highly recommend!

Our stay was amazing thanks to the cleanliness of the place. Javi and Laura were both very welcoming and provided great restaurant suggestions.

Great house, very spacious and stylishly furnished. Everything is very sufficiently available (e.g. kitchen, garden furniture, etc.) Alberto equipped us with many good tips - we enjoyed the stay very much! Thank you very much!

José and Catiá were very welcoming and available for our stay at 12 in their house, especially to quickly remedy small problems (a problem with opening the door for example). they were also accommodating on our arrival time and we thank them very much. Their accommodation is beautiful, very functional and very very well maintained, it is very pleasant to stay in. The only negative point that does not depend on our hosts is the many construction works in the neighborhood that cause some morning noise disturbances but otherwise everything was great! Thanks!

We had an amazing time with 3 families! Everything was perfectly equipped - comfy beds, full kitchens, great showers, and each casita had its smart TV and outdoor space. The saltwater pool was spectacular, with enough sun loungers, a nice bar, and a cozy seating area. The homes were spotless and well stocked with the basics, plus large towels for the pool or the beach. The location is perfect: just 7 minutes from the beaches of Costa de la Luz and 5 minutes from supermarkets such as Lidl, Aldi and Dia. The place is located in a very quiet area, next to the Natural Park of La Breña, ideal for nature and hikes. Although at first the price seemed high, calculated per person (€50 per night), it was a fantastic offer for this level of luxury. Thank you Oscar, we will certainly come back!

A really fantastic place to stay! We fully enjoyed the nice accommodation including a wonderful infinity pool. I would recommend this villa to everybody searching for a quiet place to enjoy your holidays !

Great house, location and host.

This spacious, often quirky house with annexe is exactly what we needed for our family + dog get-away. It's clear that "Casa Evang" has been in use for quite some time as a family holiday home, so everything is there and provided for, e.g. kitchen utensils and things like coffee capsules, spices, oil, vinegar, mosquito repellents etc. – I personally appreciate it very much when I don't have to spend my first hours on vacation going to the supermarket and looking for the basics! I can't count the many hours we spent outside, be it by the large pool or on the terrace, just relaxing, reading, having barbecues etc. Despite the very convenient location – the town center (with supermarkets, restaurants etc.) is just a 10 min walk away – the property allows for all the privacy you need, with no direct neighbours. Last but not least, the hosts were very friendly and responsive, allowing us an early check-in and changing the gas bottle when we ran out of gas on a Sunday night. Thanks a lot!

although we didn't meet Alberto in person, everything went perfectly. Great house, cool pool.

Firstly, I would like to thank José and Cristina for their kindness and very good welcome that we had from the reservation, and of course upon our arrival. They explained how everything worked in the house, and they gave us very interesting information about what to do and see in the area. The villa was not missing a detail, it is beautiful and very well cared for. I forgot to bring the iron from home, but there was one in the house, and even the ironing board. If they even left us an electric brush charger! Amazing. We will try to come back when it gets warmer, so you can enjoy the pool (we travel in December). I highly recommend that you enjoy a few days in this house, you will love the welcome of the hosts, how flirtatious it is decorated, and the area that is beautiful. We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this holiday home! The property is even more beautiful than in the photos, very well maintained and tastefully decorated. The location is ideal, offering both tranquility and proximity to local amenities. Everything was perfectly clean upon arrival, and we particularly appreciated Madeleine's warm welcome and availability. The amenities are great, and the view from the terrace is just amazing. A dream place where we will return without hesitation, we recommend that you go without any problem.

Monica's place is just beautiful. I've never stayed in a place like this before. The house looks like a movie, and the amenities it offers are perfect for relaxing and spending quality time with family and friends. I was able to coordinate the check in without any problems. Monica was always friendly and accommodating to my arrival schedule. Upon receiving us, his father showed us the house, gave us local directions, and even gave us a bottle of wine. The house was clean, tidy, and even with more opportunities than you see in the photos (it has a bottle rack and a simply spectacular area for sunbathing). We went 10 and had room to spare. Undoubtedly an experience to repeat.

Totally recommended, lots of communication and lots of facilities

El Cortijo is an absolutely lovely house on a gorgeous finca! Romantic and authentic! House is extremely well kept and superbly equipped. Highly recommended for a family vacation if u like nature in style and a certain degree of isolation. Only downside I can think of were the mosquitoes, which swarm in after sunset and do not allow for dinners outside.

Wonderful villa for groups (we were 8 and two babies) with bathroom in each room, a large and cozy living room and a great terrace with pool for the spring and summer months, there are also beautiful views of Arcos. We felt better than at home and both Núria and her partner gave us recommendations and treated us very kindly. We will be back for sure.
