Vacation rentals with lake access in Hudson County

It's always a pleasure staying with Maria. She's a very thoughtful and attentive host. This is my second stay at Maria's and already booked a third stay. I'd give it 10 stars if I could. Sitting in the large swivel chair and staring out the French Doors in the morning and in the evening is a delight, the backyard is like it's own little forest. I would certainly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing stay with convenient parking and a warm welcoming host.

When I say this was the absolute best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in! The description on photos matched her place and upon arrival there was wine and heart shaped cups for our Valentine’s Day getaway. Yira was so helpful and very responsive, I mean anything I needed she responded within minutes. If I could move in I would! Lol Yira makes you feel right at home, I will definitely come back the next time I visit.

I stopped at Lily’s house for 3 nights as a female solo traveller. It was my first time visiting NYC and Lily was super helpful! On the first morning, she walked to the bus stop with me, and made sure I knew which bus to get to get to and from Manhattan. She was super hospitable, really made you feel at home. The room was very clean and spacious, the bathroom was always clean with fresh towels etc, and the home is beautiful! The area of Leonia is a lovely suberb, very peaceful and tranquil. Location wise - it takes around 35/40 minutes to reach Manhattan, and the bus stop is a 5 minute walk down the road. I would absolutely stay with Lily again if I came back to NYC. Thank you so much for a lovely stay!

Host was amazing! The house had everything we needed. Rooms were beautiful decorated, and beds were amazingly comfortable. Living area had a beautiful couch that we relaxed on every night. Plus: Free parking !!!

Brian was an awesome host. He made sure I had what I needed and more. He always responded quickly and was very accommodating. The space is beautiful and clean. I will be staying there again!

We had a very nice stay. The place matched the pictures and was as described. The nearest subway station is a bit far but there is a bus close by. There is also a laundromat around the corner which was very clean and quick. Overall great place.

the apartment overall was nice, the bathroom is a but small, and because you are not allowed to smoke , it would've been nice to have a couple of chairs and a small table out back.. also there needed to be extra dry towels and tissue Paper, for guest stay over 3 nights. Still a very nice place.

Tony's Place was wonderful to go and unwind. The area is beautiful, had plenty of hiking trails nearby, and afterwards a great winery and cidery. Directly from our deck of the house we also got to view an eagle on a hunt for fish.

I had a lovely solo retreat at Chateau René, and was immediately blown away by the welcoming environment that was curated. As I walked in, I was greeted by serene jazz music and a spotless kitchen/living room, with clear evidence that the minute details were well considered. René was also proactive and kind enough to check in multiple times throughout my stay without being intrusive, and was always there if I had a question (I had few because things were set up so well). Lastly, the view was breathtaking and you are surrounded by nature, which makes for a relaxing getaway. Highly recommended.

Evalina and John were the best hosts we’ve ever had! There was a big winter storm during our trip and the power in the area went out briefly and John was over at our place turning on the generator right away. Highly recommend staying here

We loved the view out to the lake, which was different every day and throughout the day. The open layout of the house is great to enjoy the views, and if the weather is nice, there are great sitting areas outside as well. The house is well-stocked and cozy. The hosts are friendly and always responsive. There are also great parks to visit nearby. We had a great winter weekend and would love to stay again.

we love Walkers place and do come here twice a year. it's a beautiful home, it's so zen, so pretty, so clean, we just absolutely love it. it's a great fabulous house and spot to stay. ♥️

Barbara's lovely home is well-appointed with a nice back deck and yard. It would be ideal for a couples get-away, especially in the warmer months. And you couldn't ask for a better host! She even brought in a recliner to help an elderly guest be comfortable. We had no complaints other than the furnace is a bit loud, but we wouldn't want to do without it in November.

We loved it and couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay to celebrate our Anniversary. Peaceful, clean and such amazing views of the Lake! Would definitely stay here again. Great food in the area as well.

We had a great four-night stay at the Cottage. It's a huge space with a rustic feel, but with all the conveniences you need. We ate most meals in the breakfast nook that had gorgeous views from windows on three sides. If our days hadn't been so busy, we would have taken the time to have a fire in the fireplace. Maybe you'll have time! The king bed is comfortable if you like a soft mattress, but the big surprise was the sofa bed. If you want a firmer mattress, give it a try. It's the size of a queen bed and has no middle bar to stick you -- it's so comfortable! Emily was responsive when I asked about an item I couldn't find, and she also tried to fix a problem with the downstairs television. It couldn't be fixed during our stay, but I'm sure she'll have it up and running for yours. Ours was a very peaceful stay (even the resident rooster waited until the afternoon to crow!) and in the last few hours, we watched a hawk hunting breakfast in the back yard. It was hard to leave!
