Vacation rentals in Horn District

We stayed at Angela's place while on a business trip (a group of three colleagues). Angela provided us with the flexibility we needed for that purpose (e.g. late check-in and early check-out). She was always responsive and willing to help. The place is in a very nice location, quiet and private, although a little 15 min drive from the nearest town. Overall, very recommended.

We were very satisfied with the excellent amenities of the apartment, every little thing was thought of to give us a pleasant stay.

Very nice caravan in pleasant, peaceful surroundings. All well organized and prepared. Plenty of space for a getaway from two adults with two children.

It is a very great apartment with 2 bedrooms. Really great location, there are so many excursion options that are easy to reach. Always clean and you sleep excellent. We will always be happy to come.

We were allowed to spend time around New Year's Eve in this beautiful renovated former railway keeper's cottage. It is located on the outskirts of town in a quiet, very nice environment and we really didn't lack anything. Hedi and Josef not only welcomed us warmly, but were also always available and helpful if there was anything needed. In short - we would definitely come again! :)

It was very nice to visit Ernst's apartment. Felix picked us up at the train station, told us about the city, made a city and surroundings plan and went shopping with us. After long walks in the surrounding area, a sauna with essential oils and ice bathing awaited us in the evening. You can find many interesting things in the area: sand with shells from the sea, which was here 20 million years ago, the largest quarry in Europe, castles and ruins. In the city there is a Josef bread factory. Apartment is very bright, quiet and equipped with taste. Everything was available. We are very satisfied and grateful for it, and would be happy to come back.

Cozy, family atmosphere. There was a wonderful breakfast at Karin's place. The apartment is recommended and good starting point for hikes and wine testing.

Great host. Great accomodation and a warm welcome by kindly family. What do you need more ? Well equipped kitchen. Very nice bathroom. Clean and comfortable for 4 guests. Excellent if you have childs. Excellent location well located near Horn and Retz and about 100 km from Wien. All you need at your "finger tips" including bikes, ping pong and beatiful landscapes. The hosts are accommodating and friendly. The apartment is comfortable and is well equipped. It is located in an old mill in a beautiful complex of old, tastefully renovated buildings. The natural setting is very beautiful, from the balcony terrace you can look directly onto the river Kamp. Directly from the apartment you can hike in both directions along the river and enjoy the nature in the valley. In the vicinity are old cultural monuments such as the Abbey of Altenburg and Rosenburg Castle.

It was really a wonderful stay in enchanting surroundings. The castle is a venerable wall, kept alive by the lovely hostess Sabine and designed to be a true feel-good place. I would come back anytime if I want an atmospheric, quiet vacation.

We came many times and it has been very nice every time. The children play with dog and cat who are totally child-friendly and you can enjoy the magnificent courtyard with its original flair and the tranquility. The many swallows fly their rounds over our heads and you can really switch off. There is a very well planned playground directly opposite the yard for smaller and larger children. The Chloupek family is so lovable, if it turns out, you can even ride the children with the tractor or dig up a few potatoes and onions in the in-house vegetable garden or what's just right away. The apartments are all 1A equipped and very nicely and appropriately furnished.
