Places to stay in Hoquiam

Had a great time at Kyle and Julie’s home with 4 adults and 4 kids under 4. Bedroom space was plentiful for our group and they had all the toys and kid items we could have asked for. Very close to the lighthouse for a cold winter walk on the beach. Would stay here again

The house and grounds are beautiful! There are several ways to enjoy the grounds but our favorite was the outdoor fireplace. It was set-up and ready to go with detailed instructions which made use and enjoyment very easy. The fireplace kept us very warm while we enjoyed the great view of the ocean and setting sun. The kitchen was incredibly well-stocked with pans, utensils, etc. Finally, Paul's communication is fantastic. He responded to our inquiries quickly and was very helpful.

This was the perfect set up for my little family, with a peaceful place. The set of kids dishes was really nice for my 3 year old when he needed water or a late night snack after a busy day.

Lovely and spacious home filled with fantastic amenities perfect for two families (grand parents, kids, and a baby). The kitchen was nicely stocked and the living room was a great hang out place. About 5 minutes to a park and walk (about 60 seconds) beach or a drive on beach with AWD/4WD. Westport 15 minutes away with stores, shops, and restaurants, but loved the "country living" feel. Can't wait to go back again.

Beautiful gem and so happy I found it! We ended up extending our stay an extra night because we loved the Airbnb so much. Will definitely be staying here again in the summer.

We had a wonderful getaway at Erin’s place. The house had everything we needed plus so much more. The place is surrounded by forest trails and is a short walk to the beach. The hot tub and fire put were great for warming up. The house also had plenty of games and books! Would definitely stay here again.

I needed to find a place on the peninsula at the last minute after a backpacking trip fell through. I found the pacific dunes resort and wished i had made it my primary plans. I was able to get out on the beach for some exercise, enjoy a fire inside the fireplace, and get some much needed rest. The space inside was more than I needed and very comfortable. the bed was huge! This was a much better value and experience than staying in a hotel or condo. Also, I was in quite a jam before arriving at the property. The owners and their family seemed ready to help me out with my predicament which was incredibly kind. They're ready to go above and beyond for their guests.

As other reviews said, this place is much bigger than expected. 5 beds in four rooms and two spacious full bathrooms. Plenty of extra pillows and blankets, and we did take advantage of the washer and dryer. Kitchen is fully stocked and the kids enjoyed the foosball table. We really appreciated the no chore list upon check out. We did our usual tidy up, but sometimes checkout lists can really be stressful when you have three kids and a dog trying to get out the door. So that was a great touch at the end of the stay! Hosts were very quick to respond with any questions.

Sonia's Place was superb. Immaculate, well appointed, and beautifully decorated. I immediately felt "at home." I loved the fireplace in the living room and the great instructions she left for how to work that, enjoy the wifi etc. The bed was VERY comfortable as were the pillows. Absolutely perfect place, I had a wonderful stay, and Sonia is clearly an amazing host that goes above and beyond. Checkout was SO easy - no multi step instructions! 2 callouts for others: 1. There is a TINY step up into the bathroom. If you have mobility issues, it may be a challenge. 2. While I did not use the shower on my 1 night stay, it did look a bit tight. If you're a big bodied individual, it may be a challenge. I will 100% be looking to stay at Sonia's Place for as long as she is hosting whenever I am back in Montesano I truly felt at home there and you will too!
