Cottage vacation rentals in Hoorn

What an amazing place to stay it with kids, there was so much space around the lodge which all felt really safe to let them explore different activities. There was a quite a few groups there but it was never noisy or overcrowded. The lodges were really cool and different to what we stayed in previously, it did go a little cold one of the nights we were there but they were still comfortable and nice (you can rent heaters if needed). We would 100% come back in the future if we travel that way again. We went for a trip to Amsterdam which was easy to get to and Sprookjeswonderland which I would recommend too with children under 6/7

Nice stay for a family weekend with children! Location is quiet with garden surrounded by a fence. Within walking distance of the beach (30 min walk)! The cottage has a lot for children inside and out and is well equipped with all necessities. There is a very nice coffee machine available (automatic bean machine) and a BBQ. We enjoyed staying here!

Jaco and Ellen's place is perfect if you want to relax for a few days in a quiet location. The contact was super unproblematic and all concerns were resolved immediately☺️. Personally, the chlorine content in the hot tub was a little too high for us, but that may have been our personal feeling. Otherwise, everything you need was available and we were able to enjoy the time to switch off completely. We will be happy to come back☺️.

We enjoyed the peace and cozily decorated and modern house! The bathrooms were top and the beds were lovely! Also that the garden was completely fenced was great with our dog!

Fantastic place to stay and definitely going to book to go back. The apartment was immaculate and there was a guide to help you understand how to use things. Isra's communication was great and quick at getting back to you. The surroundings were lovely and very peaceful. The shops are 2 minute drive away and with Amsterdam only a 30 minute drive away. Couldn't have been happier. Highly recommend booking .

We had a great stay in Esther and Marc's cottage. Beautifully furnished with such attention to detail. It had everything you needed for a short break. The view over the water in the sunshine and the sunsets were lovely. Friendly restaurant with good food just at the end of the road. Beach, villages and towns within easy reach. Hot tub in the garden and a canoe and bikes at your disposal and a delicious breakfast brought to your door. Highly recommended 👌

I can recommend staying in this house. Everything was in accordance with the offer. The house was well-kept and equipped with everything necessary. Very good communication with the host.

Nice cottage in the middle of nature. (woods) House was clean and everything present. Spent a few nice days on the Veluwe, cycled a lot and walked, so had beautiful weather!!! Certainly subject to repetition.

Stephanie and Wim's house is just great! Very spacious, comfortably furnished and super clean. The garden with swing and trampoline was a highlight for our children. But they liked the sweet dog Isa best, who visited us daily and very quickly won the hearts of our children. For us adults, the tranquility there was very good. The beach and activities were a few minutes drive away. Wim and Stephanie were always friendly, helpful, and responsive. We felt at home from the start and would be happy to come back.

Beautiful place with a wide view over the countryside. In the afternoon, the sun comes to the veranda, making it a wonderful place. The place was great. Our dogs were also thought of; a nice snack, but also a handy towel to dry them off if necessary. It's a beautiful place to combine culture and nature. We visited the nice places Hindeloopen and Workum (Jopie Huisman museum) and also took a walk through the adjacent nature reserve.

close to the house and yet had a wonderfully affordable holiday feeling. Relaxed host, cozy cottage. As an addition, I would like to mention that there are loose chickens in the garden which is oil on a fire for some dogs...

The place is really perfectly central to the stand and to the center. The communication also worked great and we were very satisfied with everything and spent a nice week there:) The place completely corresponds to the description !

Angelique is a super host, very responsive and on hand if you need anything answered or help with directions etc. I have not encountered a better air bnb host :-) The water cottage is peaceful and restful and has everything you need. For Amsterdam you must be either prepared to drive or happy to walk just over 1.3 miles into the town. Its a 45 min bus into Amsterdam which is pretty regular or you can drive 15 mins to a train station and make your way in from there. We had no problem with this at all but some might be put off. However the location and quiet peace by the water was super and worth it!

We had a great stay. The small house is very cute and has everything you need. The location is great . recommended!!!

I had a nice time at Anja and Hans's cottage. It didn't feel "tiny" at all and everything was definitely to your liking. You will definitely relax in this location and the deer complete it. Anja and Hans were super nice and made sure everything was clear from start to finish. I'd definitely be back again!

We stayed with Ben for two weeks in connection with our renovation and we enjoyed it! Despite the renovation crowds, it felt like a mini vacation. Our 2.5-year-old son was able to play in the garden and everything was present in the house for a carefree stay. Ben's hospitality was fantastic and we felt at home straight away. Thank you!

Nice, complete house. Nice outside space. if weather is nice really enjoyable to sit outside. A quiet 'park' on which the chalet is situated. Kids can play outside, the access road to the chalet can only be reached by foot. Kitchen well equipped. Sufficient bedlinen, towels etc. Good dishwasher and washing machine. Marion responds quickly and accommodates where she can. All in all a nice place and a good starting point to see rural North Holland with close proximity to Alkmaar and Amsterdam. And to sea/beach/dunes/forest!
