Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Holmfirth

Brenda and her family were so welcoming and helpful. The information they provided before our arrival was very useful and Jan met us at the cottage to welcome us and show us how everything worked. The cottage itself is set amongst stunning scenery, which is visible from the hot tub and seating area in the beautiful private garden. The interior of the cottage is cosy, clean and well maintained. There are so many lovely little details, from the ornaments, artwork and decor to the carefully curated collection of books in the living room. A welcome book with local activities is provided, plus maps showing some of the walking trails that are easily accessible from the cottage. Our hosts also left a welcome basket of some continental breakfast foods. They truly have thought of everything! For anyone wanting an idyllic and relaxing getaway in a quirky and cosy home away from home, this is the place for you.

We stayed here for my mums 60th birthday. We had 5 couples and 2 small children. It was fantastic. House was beautiful. Location was quiet and peaceful but lots of things to do in the surrounding areas. House itself was well equipped, my 3 year old loved the train set in the living room and the childrens books. Lots of places to sit and relax, as well as all being able to sit together and eat as a family of 12. Garden was suitable for dogs however we decided to leave ours at home for a more stress free weekend. We did make use of the garden and the beautiful view by hiring a photographer to capture the weekend. Thank you for a brillant stay.

We absolutely loved our stay at Alison’s listing! Alison gave great instructions the day prior for getting to the property! The place its self was cosy and perfect for our Yorkshire dales weekend! Would definitely recommend!

We had a lovely stay at the lodge, the place itself was beautiful and clean. It had everything you needed and more. The outside was stunning and the hot tub was well utilised in the evening. Very sad we only had one night. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Can't speak highly enough about our two-night stay. I wish it could have been longer. Snugly nestled in the wild and rugged hills of West Yorkshire, the kiln house is a cosy haven for all those who want to get away from the stresses of the city where you can relax by a log fire, get lost in a book, or simply enjoy the peace and quiet. It has everything you need: smart TV, cooker, microwave, comfortable sofas and beds, books and board games. Susan and Ian were very friendly and welcoming and even put out a few Christmas treats for my daughter. It is close to many historic and cultural attractions, such as Haworth and Hebden Bridge, and there are lots of walks in the area. One of the best parts was waking to a stunning moonset on the western hills, so bright I initially mistook it for the sun. The place would be great for Bronte fans. We hope to stay there again soon.

As described , we settled in as soon as we walked through the door, Such a cosy cottage , perfect for our chilled weekend also our little dog “Boo”settled in instantly. All together a fabulous weekend, we have booked again .

Perfect place to spend New Years for four adults and a baby - we loved our stay! The location feels quite remote but is not far at all from Hebden Bridge. Lots of great walks nearby - would love to visit again when it's a bit less rainy! The cottage was very spacious, cosy and had everything we needed.

Really lovely stay in the Wendy house, felt like home from home. Very well equipped kitchen. Barhroom great and lovely towels. Kitchen had everything we could possibly need. Beautiful location and great for the dogs with enclosed garden. Took about 20 to 30 mins to get into Hebden from the bungalow walking down into the valley. Thank you very much for a lovely stay, we will be back x
