Ski-in/Ski-out vacation rentals in Hol Municipality

A cozy cabin close to the hill, was a perfect fit and became a cozy stay☺️.

Our stay here was incredible. We booked for 4 people but this place could easily accommodate 8. The place was clean and tidy and offered everything we needed and more, with beautiful surroundings and a private and authentic feel. Things like extra towels, a pantry with some basic items like rice and pasta, food in the freezer and an easy to use washing machine and dryer really made us feel well looked after. We stayed when temperatures were between -10 and -18 Celsius but the house always felt cosy. The nearest Ski bus stop is a 7-10 minute walk away and the nearest supermarket and ‘town’ area are a 25 minute walk away. If you enjoy walking then the location is fine but we opted to hire a car from the airport to use for our transfers which I would highly recommend. This made collecting ski hire, shopping and travelling to the different slopes much easier as there is lots of parking areas. 10/10 stay. I have already recommended to friends and family.

A simply wonderful place to enjoy the Norwegian upland, with ski trails from the door, super floor heating, warm historic vibe, and a comfy couch. It has two tables that seat six, a kitchen with tools, utensils and servingware to cook for a crowd of 12 (or more) and serve them coffee and wine, and a dishwasher for cleanup. It’s very well-equipped—like visiting an aunt with one of everything—so there was a right-sized ski pole when we broke one, an extra pulk and harness, plastic sleds for a small army of children, extra ski wax and tools, and the mudroom has long benches for booting on/off, and tons of hooks for hanging outerwear. When wood for the fireplace ran low, Bengt responded quickly.and had it delivered. There are tons of books in the Nordic languages as well as English on many topics including the local area and beyond. The market in Ustaoset is a short walk/ski, and Geilo was easy to reach by bus, train, or taxi for stores, dining, or a downhill ski. Love. This. Place.

Great place to be with big family with pets, quiet and beautiful place that you just want to come back to. Located nice, private by the water, ski slopes and short distance to all amenities. Above expectations beautiful, decorated for Christmas. Amazingly cozy and real Christmas vibe. Nice and good communication with the landlord. Thanks a lot :-).

Lovely apartment in a great central location. Close to the railway station and bus stops, food and sports shops. Apartment is warm and cosy, with great facilities - dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer - and a fully stocked kitchen. Made our stay very comfortable and easy. Bjorg was very responsive to questions and emails - a great Host!

We had a wonderful stay in Anne's wonderful cabin. From there we went on a couple of beautiful hikes, helped by the great location close to trains and buses. Also appreciated the greatly equipped kitchen!

Perfect location in walking distance to Vestlia alpine area. Underground parking a big plus. Cozy cabin with nice space for 5 adults without feeling too cramped.

We borrowed the cabin to Eirik in connection with a company trip to Hemsedal. Incredibly great cabin, with everything you might need. The cross country tracks run right outside the cabin wall and it is walking distance to the ski resort. Eirik was helpful and quick to respond when we had any questions. Highly recommend!

Great place for a short stay, the ski slopes are in very short distance. The apartment has everything you need and the host has always been responsive and helpful. We loved the authentic feeling of the mountain cabin and would definitely come back again.

Awesome weekend, incredible view from the apartment's living room. Delicious heating cables meant that -22c cold was gone in no time. Located only 5 min with car to the city center, and 12 min to the sea valley. Awesome place, great currency of death 😊

This is a dream cabin! Peaceful, beautiful, comfortable, luxurious and endlessly cozy. We could not have hoped for a better start to the New Year. Kjersti was a wonderful host and immensely helped us, even when our route over the mountains was blocked for a few hours. Thank you for a magical experience. We can’t wait to be back!

We loved our week at Christian's cottage. The cottage was very comfortable and cozy, everything you need was present. It was also a good base for many beautiful trips! We rafted at Dagali, made beautiful hiking tours over the Hardangervidda and Halingskarvet. What a beautiful nature! And in Geilo very cozy traditional Norwegian eaten at Hallingstuene. Wonderful holiday week!

What an excellent stay in Børre’s magnificent Nordic cabin. It was a perfect setting for our family ski break with 3 generations enjoying the setting. The cabin is beautifully decorated with a country feel and all high-spec modern conveniences. It’s warm with underfloor heat pump heating, Tesla electric car charger and plenty of space. The ski centres are a short drive away, there is a comprehensive recycling centre nearby and plenty of supermarkets, all within about 5 minute drive. Børre’s communications were helpful throughout The snow and weather were exceptional and we had a memorable time. . Tusen hjertlig takk 👍

My Labrador Otto and I felt very comfortable with Elisabeth: The house is in a great location with dream panorama of the alpine mountains around Geilo, very tastefully furnished and well equipped. My highlight was the spacious terrace, which invited you to linger in the evening with a great view. Despite the quiet location, all major facilities in Geilo can be reached within 10 minutes. Therefore, I will be happy to come back!

We stayed At Sverre’s place for two nights and honestly wish it could have been longer. The place is beautiful, welcoming and extremely well thought out. The small touches to the building really make this place special. If you’re looking at book somewhere and you’re still on the fence about this place, just book it. The kitchen is well equipped, the bathroom is lovely, bed super comfy and the living/dining area is cozy. Would absolutely stay again.

Spent three nights in September in Ragna's place - a super idyllic cabin with a nice view. Good location for hike and bike tours. Ragna is a friendly and helpful host, and was super responsive to the spontaneous booking - we were in the cabin about 3,5 hours after the initial request; absolutely amazing.
