Time out from everyday life

Everyone is welcome!! Comfort and relaxation in the LOG CABIN on the forest clearing. Dogs are also welcome. Breakfast is included. For NÖ-Card owners, but also without a card, we are very centrally located to various excursion destinations such as Sonnentor, Noah's Ark, Kittenberg adventure gardens and much more. Winter closure from January 7th to February. Limited operation from February until the Easter holidays. The house is alive, so noises (e.g. woodworm) and animal visits (e.g. ladybugs) are possible.

Accommodation: Our historic house from the 15th century is located in a quiet location in the old town of Krems / Donau-Stein. The approx. 30m2 apartment is located directly in Stein's old town - an ideal location for a visit to the various museums close by or a day trip with one of the many ships up the Danube valley - a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In addition, the vibrant city centre of Krems with its coffee shops, confectionaries and bars and the Campus Krems are within walking distance.

At approximately 995 m2, this charming log cabin is approx 35m2 with gas boiler / WC / shower and a fully equipped kitchen with oven and refrigerator. Cutlery, dishes, pans, radio, coffee maker, towels, 2 persons down, 4 upstairs. A small TV and an Xbox360 and a SAT antenna now allows access to content such as Amazon Prime, Netflix, Youtube. There is a small renovated wine celar with 5 different wines from Gernot Reisenthaler to choose.

We planned and built everything ourselves and hope our guests will feel comfortable and enjoy their time in Krems and the Wachau! The apartment is on the second floor of our apartment building in the Weinviertel and can be used in whole or in part. Here you will find a separate bedroom and a very spacious kitchen-living room with another bedroom and balcony. 1 guest parking space is available. Our house is 3 km from the nearest train station. Vienna is 50 km away. Guests from all countries are welcome!
