Thank you so much for having us here. We can feel clearly that Tom created this little piece of paradise with great love and care. With Claudia’s help, we had a great three-day stay right after Christmas. It is truly an organic cabin for enjoying time away from the busy world. The essence of mountain living, with its stunning view and beautiful surrounding. We really appreciate the outdoor dining under the sun with summer wind and bird singing.

Had a nice overnight stay at Jacqueline's tiny home before catching the ferry very early the next morning. Easy half hour drive to Picton. Everything was as described. Very comfy bed and peaceful neighbourhood. Excellent communication with Jax, friendly and quick to reply. We really appreciated being able to have our small dog stay with us and also the variety of snacks and breakfast ingredients. Thank you, Jax!

Words cannot describe how absolutely brilliant this place is!! A quirky spot but oh so convenient, quiet, and tucked away to create privacy. The house was immaculate and the layout was great! Everything was super clean and the amenities and facilities are 5-star! We recommend this place 10000% for your stay. Had everything you need to live there comfortably! Again I would recommend Oak Tree House to anyone visiting Nelson NZ!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Great location, very comfortable lounge and nice outdoor area too. John's apartment is very well equipped with everything you need for a lovely holiday. The bedroom upstairs is fab and the bed was super comfy. Our boat is in Waikawa so we couldn't ask for a more perfect location. Thanks John!

Rhonda and Max are great hosts and the cottage was beautiful. They picked us up from the train and gave us a ride to the ferry when we left. We were greeted with a wonderful view, fresh bread, eggs and a charcuterie board. There are at least two hikes right from the cabin and more if you hike down into town. The hot tub was very nice for soaking after our hikes. It was fun having a front row seat to the train going by a few times a day. All in all an excellent stay!

Wow what a beautiful stay we had over Christmas. You cannot beat the views in every room of this place. The house is gorgeous and clean from top to bottom. The kitchen has everything you need to cook any kind of meal and so well equipped for a group of travelers. I can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay here. Thank you for a wonderful holiday, wish we could have stayed longer.

A really beautiful spot to have a relaxing holiday. The place had everything we needed and more! The beach itself can be a little sharp with the oyster shells but there’s plenty of other good beaches just around the corner. The hot tub and the egg chair on the balcony got a lot of wear. It was a little bit too cold for the plunge pool but also a lovely spot by the pool. Claire was responsive and helpful getting us a new bottle quickly when we realised we were a bit low on gas for the bbq halfway through our trip. It was a great holiday and we would definitely stay again.

We had such a lovely stay at Karen’s bach! It was in such a beautiful and peaceful location with gorgeous views of the water. The house was very comfy with a well-stocked kitchen. The heated floors were also a very nice touch. Our family really enjoyed our stay and felt right at home! Karen was extremely responsive as a host too. We’d love to stay again!

We needed a place to stay last minute and Mel really helped us out! We wished we had booked Bird Song Villa sooner as one night was not enough!! This property is so peaceful and lovely! We instantly felt right at home. The neighborhood feels very safe - quiet and very walkable. The house itself was clean and stocked with everything we could possibly need! All the drawers and cabinets in the kitchen are clearly labeled which was so helpful. Would absolutely recommend booking this home. We hope we’ll get an opportunity to visit again sometime! Simply the best location! Beautiful views across the bay and perfectly situated across the road from the jetty, which has a bench seat to enjoy the sunrise and sunset with a coffee or beer. Kingfisher cabin is a magical place. It has every comfort and the most amazing view. We swam at all the spots suggested in the helpful notes, did the nearby walk at Cullen Point and walked up to the lookout above the cabin. All in all we had a wonderful stay.
