Neat, well maintained and clean cottage with also lots of space in and around the cottage. Quick response from host to questions. With all the comforts, good beds and shower. Two sleeping places upstairs not so suitable for little children or seniors due to very steep stairs, didn't matter to us. Enjoyed a few days at the seaside.

Els' rental home is wonderful! My husband and I stayed in this home for 3 nights with our son, daughter-in-law, their two very young children (both under 2.5 yrs) and it was ideal. There are two bedrooms and a full (both shower & bath) bathroom upstairs, a bedroom and full bathroom ensuite downstairs plus a toilet room downstairs. The open concept living room, dining area and kitchen was plenty of space for our purposes. We didn't have great weather but during nice weather there is also an outdoor eating area and huge lawn. It also had laundry machines. The home was very clean and had everything you need to cook and eat in. There is a large fridge, but note there is no freezer... so, we just ate all the ice cream bars we had purchased in one evening, so that wasn't a problem ◡̈ The rental home is located beside the owners home and they are very welcoming and helpful and it was lovely to meet them. Impressive Airbnb and we had a terrific time and would highly recommend!!

It was a very nice stay. Tine as a host was very accommodating and we had a very nice exchange with her. The area invites you to walk or cycle and by train you can also get to Amsterdam very quickly. Our personal highlight in the house was the projector, which allowed us to watch some nice movies. We would come back.

We stayed at Petri's house for 10 days during winter. The house was spacious, quiet and warm. we loved it. Petri is very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

A very nice little house for 2 persons. Underfloor heating in the very nice bathroom.......record player with LP collection. We'll be back for sure.

We had a nice family holiday in Wyik aan Zee. Beautiful beach for walking. A trip to Haarlem and Amsterdam was also on the agenda. Highly recommend. All in all, we will be happy to come back.

The apartment is wonderfully quiet and a real oasis. You can't hear anything except the wind and the sea nearby. They are generously sized and very well equipped with everything you need. Peter has put together a full folder with bike rides, hiking trails and tips, you can tell that he and Inge love to be hosts. Total: 5 stars de Luxe for this "hide away" from the rest of the world.

I enjoyed my stay very much, the landlords were extremely friendly and always responsive. This small apartment has everything you need. I felt very comfortable there. The place has everything you want for a getaway. The location is great. Since I traveled with a dog, I really liked that you immediately have the opportunity to walk the dog "in the countryside" as soon as you leave the property. The entire property is a dream, the garden is a paradise. I would book this place again anytime.

The apartment has everything you need for a nice stay, it is very tastefully decorated and not unimportant; it is sparkling clean! We had a lovely weekend there with our children.

Perfect accommodation for cycling trips, hikes and excursions to Alkmaar, Bergen, Schoorl.... Amenities are great, nothing is missing! Very nice hosts!

Had a great stay over New Year's Eve in the loft. The cottage is very nice, ideal for two people and furnished with a lot of love for detail. As a welcome, there was a bottle of sparkling wine and a warm welcome, which made us feel right at home. Everything went smoothly, and we enjoyed the time very much. We will be happy to come back!

Beautiful apartment, as described in the picture right in the heart of Alkmaar. There was nothing missing. We felt very comfortable and there was even a decorated Christmas tree. Contact with Diwa was quick, hassle-free and very nice.

This is a lovely little house in a great location. It is just a short stroll to the centre of Alkmaar which is a beautiful town. The house had everything that you needed and Yoraam’s communication was extremely prompt. If we were to return, we would definitely stay here again.

Best Airbnb ever. Peaceful enough for me to write 450 pages and finish my book. Was heavenly.
