There was an inconvenience in the accommodation, and it was nice that the host amy took care of it right away. I've never used the fireplace before and it was a good experience. It was nice to meet a spacious and clean house. If you come to Twizel, this is the place I would recommend. (3 rooms, 2 bathrooms, terrace, spacious yard)

The Gray Cottage is an absolute gem - cosy, comfortable and welcoming - and Eve is a brilliantly thoughtful host. The bed has to be one of the most comfy I've ever slept in, which made it even harder to leave. I can't wait to come back!

Lovely place, very clean and nicely decorated and you even get a bit of a view of the mountains. Beautiful kitchen. Shops and restaurants are about a 5 minute walk away via a handy shortcut which was great! Natasha was a great host and ensured we had everything we needed. Provisions for tea and coffee (including milk) and bottle of wine were a nice touch and always appreciated!

If you want a bit of R&R after a hectic visit to Mount Cook national park, then staying at Lake Tekapo and Hillcrest B is for you. The accommodation is stunning with east and west facing decking areas and large comfortable outside space. Inside two lounge areas making the most of the views . You can lie in bed and wake up to sunrise over Lake Tekapo. After long hikes this is a lovely place to recharge batteries and the excellent kitchen and local supermarket means you can cook at home and eat on the decking taking in the evening sunshine and lovely views. Would highly recommend.

This place was an incredible stay - a short 5 minute drive into town but off the main road meant for a peaceful no noise stay. Were able to check in early - would 100% stay again

Lu's apartment is better than any hotel I've stayed at in Tekapo, just a 3-minute drive from the Dark Sky Project. The surroundings are very quiet and private. Lu is also very warm and hospitable, and the facilities in the entire room are very well-equipped, clean, and tidy. We spent two very pleasant and comfortable nights there.
