This spot was the perfect little escape to some quiet, but close enough to downtown Waco where we could spend the day out and about. The space is open, peaceful & had everything we needed to make dinner and have a fun board game night. Hosts were super friendly as well! Thank yall!

The house is beautiful. The View is spectacular. Very thoughtful Host. We enjoyed all the extras left for us: Snacks on arrival, S’mores fixings complete with kindling, kitchen staples on point, comfortable beds, super soft fresh smelling bedding,and so many more… We were comfortable and enjoyed our stay. Will recommend to friends and family.

A beautiful and very clean updated home. Well appointed with lots of creature comforts. We loved the fire pit and the outdoor roof deck. owners were very responsive and checkout was very reasonable. The lots are very close together with low fences so it is not super private but we weren’t really looking for that. We had a lovely girls’ getaway.

This place was a fantastic getaway from the city. The area was peaceful, and the residents are very friendly. Loved that the place was walkable to the lake, and there was plenty of nearby trails as well. We forgot to bring a lot but the airbnb came with everything you could need. I was very impressed with how well stocked the place was. The hot tub of course was the cherry on top of it all. Rodney was so kind to allow my sister to visit as well. I mean really couldn’t have had a better experience, would highly recommend!

Very last minute reservation for my Grandmothers 100th birthday. The house was only one street over from Grandmas, which made this stay that much better. Booked for 2 nights originally, but added a third after checkin. Lauren was great! Helpful, kind, thoughtful and easy to work with. She even set out treats for our puppies! Lauren decorated the house very nice and had a Christmas tree up with the lights turned on when we arrived. It was truly a great experience! Only thing negative is something that won’t affect many people. I’m 6’6” and the house, being older yet very nice, isn’t built for someone of my size. Had to duck through the front door and in a few other places in the house. Other than that minor detail, the house was great! Thanks for everything Lauren!

This tiny cottage is perfect for a relaxing getaway. The land around the cottage is very peaceful, and the trails are great for dogs. Pamela and her husband are very friendly and welcoming. The cottage itself is the perfect size for two (plus a few pets). There is a town close by with great restaurants.

For anyone attending or hosting an event at the Stonebridge Wedding and Event venue in Blum, this is the place to stay. It can sleep up to 9, has lots of linens and towels and is just lovely. Well decorated, the kitchen was the best stocked with lots of items for cooking/baking at ‘home’. We were sad it wasn’t cool enough to take advantage of the fire pit outside.

Visited for a quick weekend getaway and it was just what we needed! Wonderful amenities with the hot tub, fire pit, and yard games! Definitely will book again in the future and would recommend to anyone looking for a getaway close to waco or for some peace and quiet in the country! Hosts were responsive and helpful with local recommendations!

My college group gets together twice a year (April/October). We recently lost our "go to" place because of a sale, and really struggled to find a comparable substitute. Luckily, we found Brittnie's place. The property (acreage that borders Lake Whitney) and house(s) were perfect for our needs while also being clean and comfortable. The large main room is truly amazing and the ping pong table/pool table/shuffleboard table were all great. We will not have to search for a new place again. If you have a group in need of a gathering spot, look no further than Brittnie's house/property. J. Wayne Little

We loved our stay at Buck’s place and would absolutely like to come back! The decorations, art, and attention to details within the space was amazing and even better than I had anticipated based off of the photos. The space was also extremely clean. The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe and very easy to get to from the main roads. I would not hesitate to book again!

Large amount of land to walk about or just relax. We brought our telescope, kayaked, and Barry set us up a fire to cook smores! Very relaxed vibe. Brought an 8 and 11 y/o and they loved it as well.
