Vacation rentals with a fire pit in High Peak District

We had a super stay at the house. It was so easy to get into Altringham town centre and the tram/train station. The house is exactly as pictured and we were pleasantly surprised by how well stocked it was with basics like washing up liquid, cleaning g products, as we have found these have not been provided at other places we have stayed, these little touches were the cherry on top of the house. David was very helpful with recommendations for places to eat locally. We were all delighted with this find and would recommend to anyone!

Me and my family had the best time at Chalet du lac! The views are just amazing and there was everything you needed to relax and have some fun. The family particularly enjoyed “the temple bar” it was a fab space to unwind with a few drinks and have a game of pool and darts. Both Richard and Sophie’s communication was excellent. Really helpful in suggesting places to eat and things to do in the local area. Anyone that books to go here wouldn’t be disappointed. Thanks again for a fab stay!

Judy and Brian’s cottage was so comfortable and cosy, we arrived late at night and as soon as we stepped into the cottage it was warm and so relaxing. A log fire was lit and we had everything we needed to immediately settle in for the night. The morning was so peaceful, surrounded by green fields and greeted by their beautiful puppy Willow! Brian also kindly helped us with taxi recommendations. I highly recommend this place, and we will be staying again if we are in the area again.

Lovely cottage, immaculately clean. Log burner was fantastic and kitchen was well stocked with cooking essentials. Bedrooms beautifully furnished and beds very comfortable. Lots of extras such as a nesspresso coffee maker and biscuits and sweets galore. Would definitely stay again

Really lovely place to stay! The cottage is decorated so nicely and only a short drive to a number of pubs nearby - would stay again!

The house was lovely, as described and set in lovely Green meadows - despite being only 15 mins walk from the town it felt like real countryside, especially with the chickens, pigs and horses wandering around. Hosts were super helpful and accommodating. Would recommend if arriving at night double check the names as a few places along the street have very similar names.

This was my favourite Airbnb so far it was absolutely beautiful, the barn has everything you need and the beds are super comfy with quality mattresses, duvets and pillows! Plenty of space for 6. Enclosed garden for dogs. We loved Richard's pet pigs who came to see us when they were let out ❤️ Thankyou so much we had a brilliant time x

Great stopover point for M1, A1M, M18 routes. Easy access to Peak District, Dales, etc. extremely helpful host

We had a great weekend at the Hedges! A very peaceful and relaxing place that is well cared for. We felt that the family were close by if we needed anything but this wasn’t an intrusive presence. The apartment had everything we needed for a weekend away including free parking which is a great bonus! Thank you so much Jo

Reluctantly left after a fantastic two-night stay at the Rossendale Cottages. We’d stayed in this beautiful & spacious studio accommodation and absolutely loved it. The staff are fantastic and were so kind throughout. The area is lovely & the walks nearby are great fun - especially to the singing tree! The bed was comfy, food yummy & hosts were gracious and lovely. I’d love to come back!

We spent a lovely 3 nights here with our 2 children (8 & 4) and our dog. The apartment was perfect, had everything we needed. Beds were super comfy & the whole place had a really homely feel to it. The hot tub was great, we also booked the pool on 2 of the days which was really easy and the kids loved having it to ourselves. We used the games room which had some really good equipment in it. The location was a few mins drive into Bakewell. Overall a great family friendly place to stay which we all loved and would happily stay at again.

Just returned from an overnight stay at Mark’s place. This is the second time I’ve stayed and both times have been great. The annex is just as described on the photos and has everything required. Lovely little gem of a place ☺️

Lovely weekend away - so peaceful and quiet on the water. The hut was gorgeous and finished so nicely with great attention to detail. The kitchen was really well equipped despite only being small. Overall a gem of a place I wouldn't hesitate to recommend!

Lovely quick stay at Paul's, super peaceful cabin in beautiful location. Very helpful hosts who greeted us on arrival and walked us down to the cabin and explaining how everything works. Great outdoor kitchen with everything we needed. Dogs had a great time roaming around the space. Definitely a place we'd like to return again to.

We stayed 2 nights in Cherry Pod with our 2 children (6 and 3). We arrived in the snow and it was like a magical winter wonderland! Sarah gave us really helpful, clear instructions on how to access to property which made our arrival really simple. Despite poor weather we were so comfortable and cosy all weekend, the scenery was beautiful and we had everything we could have possibly needed and Sarah kindly even left us some birthday treats, which made it even more special. She was also extremely helpful in giving us local recommendations for places to eat and visit for the day. When we were packing up to leave, Sarah also kindly allowed us and the children to visit their 4 very friendly Alpacas, which was an absolute highlight! We absolutely loved our stay and have no doubt we'll be back - highly recommend!

This cabin is great for those wanting a quiet and cheap place to stay. The farm track is long and bumpy but just take it steady and you will be fine (I have a Toyota avensis). If arriving in the dark, drive along until you see a sign post (on the right hand side) take the left road past the cottages and not the right turn into someone's home. then take a short path to the right to find the cabin. I was worried about being cold but the log burner and provided heater kept us toasty all weekend (even when it was snowing). I would definitely come here again.

Very nice cabin and area, penny was responsive and friendly. Clear seat isle and instructions made finding the place and check in very easy.
