Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Higgins Lake

My friends and I decided to stay here for our annual trip and it was perfect. The place itself during the winter is a beautiful experience and the home was very cozy and welcoming! Everything was clean and Courtney left detailed instructions with good recommendations. Thank you for hosting us!

The home was very clean. It sat off the road and had a fenced back yard so our dog could run in the yard without worry. It was warm and cozy inside. Deer walked right through the yard! I took pictures of them. It was close to restaurants and stores. I would definitely stay here again!

Our stay was a very positive one. The hospitality of both the owners and managers was fantastic. Managers lived right across the street which was super convenient just in case they were needed. The home was well furnished, cutely decorated and it was very home like. We had an overall great experience!

Jenna and Brandi were gracious hosts. The home was perfect for what we wanted. It is beautifully decorated, clean, and inviting. The area is beautiful, surrounded by nature, and is the perfect getaway for anyone looking for a quiet retreat.

We loved the cabin. It was perfect! Place was very clean. The cabin also had little things that made it feel like home; like a throw blanket on the chair. Host was very responsive. My kids loved the ping pong table. We can’t wait to book again.

There was a classic car show the weekend we stayed and even a parade of cars the night before. Absolutely wonderful stay at the historic pink house.

We booked this place last minute, and couldn’t be more glad we did! The host was incredibly responsive and friendly, making the whole experience seamless. The house itself is stunning—clean, well-organized, and beautifully set up. Honestly, the pictures don’t do it justice! The surroundings are equally beautiful and added so much charm to our stay. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a peaceful, comfortable retreat.

This house is a great place to stay. We will be back for sure. We have friends and family that live near by. Fenced yard was perfect for our fur baby. This place was super clean. Updated. Rachel was a great host. Very clean & well taken care of. Close & easy excess to orv/snowmobile trails. Plenty of parking & close to town. Will stay there again.

We had a big group, and all had places to sleep. The kitchen-living room area is big and accommodated our whole group for games and watching football. The lake view is amazing, and we were able to walk to several local bars. We had a great time staying here and the host communicated quickly.

Jeremy and Kendra's place was perfect for our family. We spent most of our time in the house... and the kids (ranging from 23 to 4) were never bored! Ping pong and basketball games in the garage, electronic game table, board games, puzzles, and hot tub action. We only turned on the TV for the Lions game... The house has a luxurious design and accommodations and is pristine and clean. Healthy soaps and cleaning products throughout the house. Mattresses and pillows were top quality and the showers had all the features that we expect in a 5-star hotel. The kitchen, dining and living areas were very large and accommodated our family of 8 without feeling cramped. In summary, we highly recommend this place and look forward to another getaway in the future.

Quiet, cozy place to stay. Received clear instructions for check in/ out and everything we could’ve needed to know was easily found in the binder! Would stay again!

Great spot for a long weekend. We used this as our base for XC skiing and running. It’s close to Hanson Hills! The hot tub was a nice way to relax after skiing. The kitchen was well stocked so we made most of our meals (and had to get a burger at Spike’s Keg o Nails). The beds are comfortable and the showers are hot.

Walk out basement to the few steps to get to the beach area. Well stocked kitchen. Recommend bringing your own water if desired ( well water I believe) . Beautiful sunsets. Game room was fun .. bring quarters to play though . Highly recommend

This was our second time staying at this wonderful Airbnb, and it was just as great as the first! Communication with the host was fantastic—quick responses and clear instructions throughout our stay. The house was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location exceeded our expectations again; it's super convenient, with stores and great local dining options just minutes away. We couldn't ask for a better spot to relax and enjoy the area. Highly recommend, and we'll definitely be back!
