Very convenient location in the heart of the city. Walking distance to many shops and restaurants and was very quiet and peaceful in the evening.

Wonderful stay if you’re headed to Kyoto! Clean and cozy, convenient access to several transit stations, and a great little neighborhood. Will definitely be back!

We had an early check-in and our host received us with a warm cup of tea. Gave us local recommendations and showed us how to get around. It was really close to the Kyoto station and a comfortable place to stay in.

I really enjoyed my stay here in Yukiko's apartment. Everything was as described, and looked just like the photos, if anything more spacious! It was very clean, had everything I needed, and felt just like home! From the beginning, Yukiko provided me with helpful instructions and information on the surroundings (supermarkets, etc), which I really appreciated. It is right next to the subway station which has excellent connections to the city. The mattress being extremely comfortable was also welcome after many long days of walking around this wonderful city. If, hopefully, I come back to Kyoto, I would certainly not hesitate to book this apartment with Yukiko again. Thank you so much, it really made my stay perfect.

The space was just right for solo travelers. Personally, it was quite far from Kyoto station but still walkable. The amenities offered were nice and functional. The hosts were responsive and very considerate. Thank you, see you again in Kyoto!

This was my third time staying. I have another booking upcoming . It is a sizeable apartment with everything I need to live in Kyoto. the location is perfect for my activities. Sumi makes sure I do not want for anything. the river is a block away, Keihan train is a few minute walk. I look forward to my next stay.

Everything was as expected. The host welcomed us warmly; she was present upon arrival and even took the time to make us tea and present a small handmade gift. The house itself is perfectly functional. I loved having two stories and an operational kitchen, as I could wake in the morning to make breakfast without waking up my companions. The washer/dryer worked as expected and there was detergent provided! Plenty of extra linens and sleep space for an excess of guests. It was the perfect option for an extended stay in Kyoto.

A beautiful house located very close to 2 train stations and Fushimi Inari. Very convenient, comfortable and clean.

The location is located in the old complex of Gion in Kyoto, right in a famous tea house street (entertainment from ancient times to the present, and even today you will encounter Geisha Maiko in and out of the tea house).Ninenzaka, Kenninji, Hanamikoji, Kamogawa River are all within 10mins walk The space is much larger than hotels at the same price.On the first floor, there is a dining room, kitchen and tatami style living room, and a small Japanese-style courtyard; two bedrooms upstairs, one in one western style.Especially like having tea and reading music on a tatami (cover photo) on the first floor.Breakfast can also be bought directly at the table 711 Great value for money and a local choice!

Quiet and peaceful, great location to walk to Gion. Checkin and finding it were very simple. The ceilings are high, but the doorways are quite short given the style of the house, you might bump your head if you are tall but that shouldn’t detract you from this amazing stay. Highly recommended!

This is my first airbnb reservation, it is very surprising, the host description is accurate, the house is clean and tidy, the service is warm, the location is excellent, the first day I didn't know that the first day of my stay was a big circle, I learned that the next day is the duck river, and the few steps is the lively four. However, it is this quiet house, good reviews, I will stay in Kyoto next time, the first choice. In other words, a lot of comments mention that the sunlight is strongly unable to sleep in the morning, there are two pictures posted, I think that window, morning and evening, if it is covered, it is more lost than you get

Nice place for 3 or 4 person max. after shower can be cold to walk back into living room in winter as the detached bath and tub is not a heated area. we love the quant garden with the tub. host is fast to respond and very helpful.

We ended up at their office by mistake instead of the airbnb and their team had a shuttle bus service that took us directly to the airbnb, it was very easy to enter and clean. The location was great as well, walking distance to see a lot of things.

It was nice that the bath and toilet were separated and clean.The kitchen was also easy to use.It was also good to be able to divide the studio into a sleeping area and a living area.It was a 20-minute walk from Katsuragawa Station with Aeon, and there was a convenience store nearby, making it convenient for a little shopping.

super helpful and communicative! asking for several helps such as providing us with rice cooker to booking a van for a ride back. Super responsive and full of information. best are, they even provides us with a shuttle service.

Great apartment and very spacious with good amenities. Beds were a bit firm but this is common in Japan. Otherwise modern and well decorated and close to Kyoto station.

Perfect spot for a couple of nights for a family of 4. All amenities and laundry service was a reason we selected this space. Will recommend to others.
