We had a very pleasant stay in Ishinomaki. The city and its surroundings offer a calm setting and beautiful landscapes. Thanks to the hosts recommendations, we were able to enjoy discovering the local food and visiting the cat island, Tashirojima.

Location is great; near lots of Onsen and bus station. Hosts were amazingly helpful with everything, and always willing to go the extra mile (for example my son was sick and rather than tell us where the pharmacy was, they rang to take us there, walked us to the place and spoke to the pharmacist) They were also great at helping us navigate the area and giving recommendations about how to arrange our trip. They were friendly and caring. Would really recommend staying here.

Perfect place to stay in ishinomaki. Very cool communal area with very well equipped kitchen. Wish I had allocated more days for here as there was a lot to do if more time. Host was very helpful with recommendations.

It was a very pleasant stay, and the host was polite. Also, they gave us a lot of information about the area, which made our trip smooth.

Kazue-san was very nice! She even helped me plan a schedule to let me have the most fun possible in the limited time I was there. The room was filled with life, like a room you'd actually live in, and everything is very very clean and comfortable, feels like coming back to your own room back in your family home. The futon was very soft, smells nice, and very clean, probably the best bed I've ever slept in. She also prepared a delicious apple juice from her own farm, and prepared a warm, hearty breakfast for me in the cold morning. The bathroom is also very clean, and are arranged in the traditional Japanese style with a changing room, washing area, and bathtub. The toilet is a modern one like the ones you can find in Tokyo. If I go there again I will definitely be staying a lot longer!

This is a very new, clean and spacious place. The host is friendly and nice person. we will stay here again , if we are ever come back to visit Yamagata. Highly recommended.

There were multiple heaters, and I had a comfortable stay in the room.
